But it's still nothing compared to the Shadow Shard TF that sends you from The Chantry to Perez Park and back, way back in the days *before* Ouroboros, Pocket D, Base Teleporters, Mission Teleporters, Temporary Jetpacks or even the FBZ Portals to other SS zones. If you were a SuperSpeeder it could take you hours.

It is, consensus says, achievement of sub-objectives during the trial (such as getting all the crates/containment units on Lambda or killing Siege/Nightstar at their spawns on BAF), basically stuff you get Astral Merits for. The more you complete, the more likely the team is to get better rewards at the end and given that the majority of teams complete the majority of sub-objectives (for the merits and/or badges usually) so it skews the results towards Uncommon rather than Common.
  4. Can you be more specific? Is this just on one server or all of them? Are you getting kicked when you level past Lv11 or if you try and log back into a character that's past Lv11? What message do you get when it kicks you out? Is it back to the character select screen or a crash to desktop? etc.

It's much easier for us to help if we have detailed information about the problem.

The toon is not gimped in any way, but I literally only took two of the secondary powers, but I am still a HUGE DAMAGE MONSTER. The good thing about /fire for a secondary on this toon was that I was free to make a lot of other power choices with the power pools.
I find I mainly use my /Fire in teams where someone else has the aggro; it allows me to safely drop into the middle of groups and let rip with Burn, FSC & Combustion.

I've just got my Fire/Fire/Fire blaster to 50 and she lurched from awesome bringer of firey AoE death to awesome aggro magnet of suicide depending on the team I was in.

It's a brilliantly fun combo - pulling with RoF is always good for a laugh - but your capacity for attracting aggro is limited only by the amount of time you can stay alive.

The site you want is http://paragonwiki.com/ not the wikia one...

Lv50 tips tend to have lots of fake nems on higher "x" difficulties, they're also good for the Carnies MI badge. Skyway is always good for clocks if you can't get on a Synapse TF. Moonfire TF is ideal for Slayer/Silver Bullet.

The "mire-esque" attack that one of the fluffies does has a much longer range than you might expect and will quickly kill off squishies that don't move out of the way; additionally, the periodic spawns of mini-fluffies will also attack squishies if not engaged by something hardier.

Also remember that the rez-stun is line of sight - as soon as he goes down everyone without mez protection should get behind a pillar or wall, it helps dramatically when you can all attack from the off without any negative effects.

Otherwise, the hardest thing to overcome really is the heal spam from his fluffy and all you can really do to counter it is pop damage inspirations, use debuffs and stay as far away from Rommie as you can if you're a ranged AT.

  12. It might just be me, but I think it'd look much better without the two poorly affixed TARDIS pictures on the front...they just look tacky.
  13. What seems to be a bug, however, is that all of my non-cancellable buffs randomly vanish from the buff bar during combat and then reappear a few seconds later.
  14. I'd be happy if they just fixed my fluffies so that they spawn even if the body vanishes halfway through the animation

  16. Anyway, good video with some very good points and I think, on the whole, that Freedom ticks most of the boxes.

That said, I still have concerns about the VIP Server (If handled badly) and the Chat/Team Forming/Forum Posting restrictions on F2P players discouraging them from engaging with the community.

    Not quite.

Selling a faster levelling speed doesn't inherently unbalance anything; sure some players level faster than others, but they're always going to be equal at any given level. The same goes for things like enhancement unslotters, they're not conferring an inherent advantage to paid players, just a convenience.

The problem comes when you start selling things that give specific advantages to paid players. Things like massive buffs or epic armour or perma-Quad Damage. These things mean that players who pay money can do things that free players can't no matter how much time and effort they put in.

Giving paid players a time/convenience advantage isn't bad (unless you've designed your game in such a way that it is), giving them an ability advantage that free players can't achieve is.

Well let's hope it doesn't, because it would mean that there wasn't any matter between it and us, which would odd. Also, space is big - really big - and while matter/antimatter annihilation produces a lot of energy, in the context of the size of space, it's really not that much.
  19. He owned a McLaren F1 with ~35,000 miles on the clock (that's a lot), he also has an HGV license, amongst other things.

I know most people outside the UK only know him for Mr Bean, but I would highly recommend reading (and watching) up on his other work as well.

It's a workaround, but it doesn't solve the problem. I know how to add the Launcher as a non-Steam game, but I bought the Steam version of the game and want to use the Steam version of the game so that I get the Steam overlay, have it track my playtime, publish my screenshots and generally do most of the things that Steam games do.

Just *something* from a redname that said "Yes, we're updating the Steam install to fix existing installs" or "No, we're not updating the Steam install because we hate you" or even "No, we're not updating the Steam install but here's how to make it use the Launcher" would make me feel less like they just don't care about the Steam version.

It is, in fact, breach of contract at best. It is not illegal and, well, moral relativism allows a fair amount of flexibility on the "immoral" side of things but personally I wouldn't say that it is.

To me it's akin to owning a dvd, and instead of watching that dvd you watch your friend's who lives in the same house as you.
Don't try and bring logic into this; most of the people responsible for licensing these services and making the laws surrounding them are still totally stuck in the physical world with no real comprehension of how technologies such as the interwebs have changed the way that people want to (and can) consume media. A few people get it - Spotify are one of the better ones on the whole - but they're usually hamstrung by the licensing agreements they have to sign with the content providers in order to be able to offer their material for streaming/download.

    Steam

I've only been able to play by abandoning Steam altogether and just using the Launcher, which isn't fun.
