The x1300 is old enough that it's dropped onto their "not supported for newer drivers" list. The latest driver the offer for it is 10.2 which is circa 2010 and could explain the issues.
You could try the latest Catalysts from here: http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloa...eon_xp-32.aspx but I can't say for certain that they'll work properly as it's not an officially supported card any more. -
My understanding is that as a Premium player if there is a Going Rogue code attached to your account from a past purchase then you gain access to Praetoria & Alignments, this should still be the case with GR codes applied now.

Well my 50s that aren't badge-hunters average around 150 badges each, so I'd say anything over 300 clearly indicates intent to badge, but I wouldn't want to set a threshold for defining a "badger".

My top (workaroundy) tip for this is to hit Dark Extraction first (even if it's not recharged) as that will automatically target the nearest corpse and then hit Unchain Essence. Though to be fair I tend to jump into a group, Mire, Gravity Well a minion to death and then hit UE whilst they're still targeted, which removes the need to select one.

Please can we get HTTPS support for forum browsing, as it stands it just redirects you back to HTTP. I know the authentication process is over HTTPS, but I'm one of those paranoid types and would like to be able to browse the boards on an untrusted connection without the risk of session hijacking.

They use post-hypnotic suggestion and as far as we know use it consciously, you only don't remember them if they don't want you to remember them.

Despite Hollywood's belief to the contrary, it isn't always a good idea to give away all of your plot in the trailer.

I would suggest logging it with support, it might just be a delay on the account server or it could be a bug.

What's probably "worse" is that hitting a weapon-based attack (such as Katana) will draw that weapon even though the power is disabled and you're not you.

Quote:What spec is your PC? How much RAM do you have? What OS are you running and is it 32 or 64-bit? Are you running other stuff in the background? Have you got the Launcher set to Quit after the game is launched? What is this? I keep getting blasted with this statement: "game has run out of memory and must shut down".
When did this start and how can I get rid of it? It didn't happen a week ago and now it happens every hour or there about.....
Anyone else seeing this? -
Quote:Read reviews on sites like TomsHardware, Anandtech, Hexus, etc. Most of them will do "Best Component for $x" articles so you can tailor what you want to your budget. The more you have to spend the better your PC will be, but you can still make a pretty decent one for £300-£400.Right ill have a look online and see what i can find, if i wanted to build my own what is the best way to go about it?
Read a couple of articles on building your own PC, again the sites above may help, as will Google. As a base you need: A case, a power supply, a motherboard, a CPU, some RAM, a graphics card and a hard drive. If you don't have keyboard/mouse/monitor/Windows license then you'll need them as well.
Once you know what you want, go shopping; dabs.com, scan.co.uk, overclockers.co.uk & ebuyer.com are all good choices. Don't feel you have to buy everything from one place, you may find it's cheaper to buy some stuff from one place and some from another (pay attention to P&P costs though). -
Quote:Well the drive size is fine (dependent on what you need to store, obviously) and 4Gb is sufficient (make sure you're running a 64-bit OS) though if you can afford it 6 or 8 would be better (again, 64-bit only).Right well i dont want a mega machine, as i said before it only has to play CoH on recommended to make me happy as larry so this leads me onto....
....what specs are necessary to achieve recommended settings?
the current laptop im on (family laptop, cant take it with me) can run on recommended and has:
- AMD Phenom II X4 Mobile Processor N930 (2 GHz)
- ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
- 4GB DDR3 Memory
- 320 GB HDD
How do i go about achieving these sort of specs but in desktop form?
Graphics card-wise, nvidia is your best bet for this game as ATI still has some issues and you're probably looking at something like the GTX 460 1Gb.
CPU-wise a core i5 would probably be a good choice, or a high-end i3 if you're on more of a budget, but you don't want a Core2 as they're much very last-gen. -
Quote:Ask the Computer Engineers rather than the Computer Scientists (personal biaswow this is confusing....maybe ill go ask tech people at uni as reading it is quite hard to pick up what you guys are on about (sorry my bad)
) - most of them will work for Beer & Pizza.
If you're not comfortable building your own PC then it's probably best not to attempt it without help, but I would strongly recommend reading up on general specs so you know what you're after when looking at pre-built machines. Almost every one will have a couple of components that aren't really want you need. -
There's a Firefox 7 that's just been released, 8 is in Beta and 9 in Alpha; it's part of their current "We must copy whatever Chrome does for no apparent reason" approach to browser development.
-
Probably, maybe, but it's pretty low spec and "Graphics card: Nvidia" is about a vague as you can get.

Market access is per account and it's a couple of dollars a month per account IIRC.

You'll probably find that your username has changed and is now prefixed with "EU". You probably have a US trial account that you're actually logging into without realising it (My username is "EU[Something]" and my old US Trial account username is "[Something]", both are active and initially had the same passwords).

Whoever is the active "sidekicker" gets the credit, i.e. whoever is at the top of the team list, setting the active level.

Quote:Heh, I wouldn't take Fire Farmers' words as gospelI am probably mixing Freezing Rain with Ice Storm in my mind. I saw a Fire Brute in an AE farm bark out orders to "Turn off the damn Ice Storm!", I assume because of its scatter effect.
Looks like I'll be respec'ing Freezing Rain into my build tonight! Thanks guys!
On a farm, yes mob scatter is the ultimate disaster as it reduces your kill rate (especially with Fire as you rely on Burn a lot), but in actual gameplay, both Ice Storm and Freezing Rain are great powers, especially in combination. -
I strongly recommend watching all of the Thousand Pounds stuff, starting with their Street Fighter Ultra Combo videos, it's really excellently done.

I believe it's coming Soon™

Quote:Well really, http://na.cityofheroes.com/en/about_freedom/ should just redirect to the correct location or, even better, set it up properly so that "freedom_overview.php" is the actual index page for that directory.Yeah, it should be: http:// na.cityofheroes.com/en/about_freedom/freedom_overview.php
But it is the broken link of: http://na.cityofheroes.com/en/about_freedom/ -
However, if you click on the "Learn More" link off the splash page you get a 403 Forbidden error, which is a schoolboy cockup.
Seriously, I expect better from people using Frontpage Express.
