I think it's always been the case that if you leave Cimerora while on an ITF team then it automatically kicks you out. It's not a bug as it's meant to do that. I don't know if it's an i13 thing or was always the case but it was mentioned on the forums somewhere.

In short, Phantoms, people have tried really hard to offer their viewpoints on your OP. Whether you choose to take any of it on board is ultimately up to you. If you enjoy this kind of roleplay then fine, go ahead. But don't expect everyone to think it's really good or worth their while.

Also as an aside (and I've been guilty of this when I go into the D on several occasions) - Pocket D has some kind of barrier to prevent conflict. I'm never quite sure if this extends to being able to use powers if you have any (making ice cubes or causing it to Snow outside), or if a person throws a punch will they end up in a cornfield? If someone could be more proactive than me and find out for certain what the deal is, I would be grateful. Then it could be one thing that might actually be able to be applied across the board so that whenever anyone's in D, acts of violence can be dispersed by a kindly tell stating whatever the case happens to be.

My character, still being quite godly, is still quite fun to play because it still fits in with OOC death penalty, you just come back from the hospital again.

There's a difference between invincibility and immortality invincibility means you can't get a scratch immortality means you can't die...but can get hurt.

Trust me, I don't want to be a godmodder, and I'm sorry if anyone sees it that way; the way I see it, he's a godly character, but isn't actually doing godmodding.

And a few have said it was acting obnoxious, well it's just who the character is, it's like saying "I can drive a car" do you think that's obnoxious? Certainly not me...

You are just explaining your properties as a human or in this case, a non-human.

CO is probably your best bet, it's by Cryptic who originally made this game, and it's a superhero game. Almost a perfect replacement if things don't work out.

There's also The Old Republic MMO by BioWare based on the offline series, BioWare are a trusted developer, I wouldn't think they'd dissapoint this time.

And if this lasts until lets say a few days after January starting you really need to vent out your rage at NC for the poor quality of service! You have been patient and it's about time you complain about the quality of service.

The problem with that is that they end up being unplayable. There is no plot they can't solve in a heartbeat. There is no villain they can't defeat. They can wipe the floor with anyone. They are, in other words, boring to play and boring to be around (unless you have the mentality of a six-year-old).

And despite this, the player will insist on playing the character. The brighter ones, realising their character is a pain to be anywhere near, make arrangements to have them elsewhere most of the time when action happens.

So, that's why Roleplayers don't like 'god' characters, because they are boring to be around, break plots, and are most often played by people who haven't actually grasped what RP is.
