Quote:I've expressed my desire for ape/monkey/simian heads, particularly for a superhero/comic book themed game such as this numerous times.I can't believe they made the Animal pack without including Apes...
Yeah, some legit lizard heads would be nice. But at least, we have one already. Honestly? I'd rather have dinosaur heads than lizard heads.
Whereas, we've spent a long drought of people kludging together the same fair looking almost monkey head. I know, it's possible, but it just doesn't seem quite right to me. So, I resist making one. It's just such an obvious gap, I can't help but think we'll be seeing one at some point down the line.
Especially, considering the Savage emote that came with the Animal pack. The only thing it fits is a monkey or ape, but there's no monkey/ape head in the pack. -
Quote:Couldn't you have done this with one save?I did this sort of today. I saved two costumes, the original and the costume with the misshapen head (no idea how it got that way). I then used a text editor and the scales are all at the top. I copy+pasted the scales only from one costume to the other, then re-loaded the 2nd and poof, face shape fixed.
1) Save the bad head costume
2) Load it onto the good head version
3) Use the reset scale button on head to revert it to the good head scales?
Look, all in-game too.
Curse you Lothic for saying what I said in a big block of text. -
Quote:If you were playing the game before Freedom launched and you frequent the boards, you would have seen the Devs telling us to save money by buying super boosters before the Market went online. That doesn't seem like milking us hard at all.Its almost as if they want to milk us as hard and as fast as they can.
If anything, that seems like they were telling us that these things are going to be expensive in the Market and if you wanted to save money, then you better get these things before the market and cost you more than they would have when they specifically told us that this was going to happen.
They were trying to save you money, why weren't you paying attention? -
Wow, way to disappoint my trust in you guys. I thought for sure you'd drop that hat or the armored gloves in the set, even went so far as to defend you guys in the previous thread.
Though, I do see a problem with the armored versions not quite working for players: three colors. They'd have to slightly redesign the gloves to just take two colors.
I want to stick up for you guys, I really do. But, this seems like such a small bit of clipping compared to the rest of things in the creator that already clip.
That being said, I really dig the hood, nice and tight to the head. And the regular CoT gloves are pretty cool, really like the silhouette on them. -
Quote:A lot of people expressed the desire for the powerset. Though, 18 seems a little late for that sort of stun attack. Should be around the same level you get Cobra Strike, all things being equal.

Yay! Now, this forum is like all the other server forums.

I still like the idea too. I wonder if there were some way to put together something like a Mad-libs AE mission maker to facilitate this sort of thing. Give us a bit more character-wise than the three broad types that the competition used, and allow us to drop in even more enemies from our existing character list or made in the AE for mid-mission mini bosses/filling out the Rogues Gallery.
Granted, I'd like doing this sort of thing as a surprise drop in of my villains/heroes, as well as specialized tip missions. But, a short form AE mad-lib and play would be a nice alternative, because sometimes, I don't want to have to slog through the AE to pick every little detail and there's no surprise, if I make the mission.
Whereas, a short AE fill out form and options to add in mid boss-types and the broad selection of interesting NPCs to fill out their minions that we already have in-game with spontaneous mission generation on par with say the simplicity of the radio/newspaper or tip system would be cool.
I'm all for the creative types to get their story on with the AE, but I don't know if I have the patience/confidence to build something worth messing about with. That, and most of the time, I just want to jump into the mix without having to go through the hassle of figuring out proper mob drop-ins/odd word filter/everything else that can go wrong when making your own customized AE mission. -

Y'know, Skyway is sorta redundant. I like the zone a great deal, but after the Sutter TF, I could see it going away. Or getting a revamp.
If we're looking at zones that got bombed to hell and back, Kings Row and well, the zone that showed up in the recent Signature story could get radical facelifts. -

Quote:Well, that cuts down the different options. If there is no chance your getting back together because she moved away and it appears she has no interest in those characters again in this life. Delete or keep?
How do you feel about keeping the characters?
Because let's be honest, "Man law" really is about how you feel about what things are right and wrong. A gut reaction is a feeling. -
Welll, it does depend. I mean, I guess I could go into a number of iterations where you would consider keeping them and not renaming them or renaming them or deleting them are viable options.
But "it depends" on a number of factors that we don't have, given your limited opening statement. -
I'm having way too much fun with Spring attack. Sorely tempted to make an elec/shield brute to have three teleport into the middle of action attacks on tap.
Burnout? I like it, but it's a shame that it's limited to just primary and secondaries. It seems to me, to be the sort of thing you'd keep in reserve, so you could double up on your tier 9 attack or something to get you out of a bunch of slows and no attacks sort of situation. -

Quote:For the record, they haven't said what pieces we will or not be getting when they get around to selling us the set. They might as well just resell us the sinister set, if that's all we're getting. I can understand why the robes might be a problem, but what about the other pieces? It looks pretty bare compared to these.
For example, look at the Barbarian set and how much we got compared to the handful of screenshots they showed us. There's a lot more pieces that we got than what were shown, not sure why you automatically assume we'll only be getting the minion suit.
Personally, I'm hoping we get the non-spiked version of the minion/guard/archer gloves that are on a number of them in-game, as well as the majority of what we've seen in terms of their variety. The biggest thing that concerns me, is that I haven't seen any female Lt or boss type Circle of Thorns in-game. -

It would be nice to have a "dignified villain", "angry alien/other/outsider", "mad scientist" and "career criminal" to go along with the scumbag track.
-
Yeah, some expansion to what Recluse is claiming to be up to "something". The context of his comments in the comic strip don't seem to amount to much, his troops on the ground in the first section look like they're just helping Longbow.

Quote:Yes! Great idea. You get a note as to who did the clicking, right? Solid.I think this is a great idea!
I have an idea though! How about making an architect mission based on Hoverboard racing? Is it possible to have no enemies, but a clickable item at the end of the stage? This would be even more interesting since the level is randomly generated, and there's no feasible way they could cheat.
What do you think? Could this work? -
Yeah, no buff. Sell it in the store, very pricey.
Glad that I'm not attached to my badges and don't mind re-rolling, but I support the option for people that feel that they want to keep their badges.
Actually, I'd think the buff would be okay only if, if it only lasted 'til like level 20, like the new lowbie Sewer Trials.
