Um no it doesn't one of the Villain zones has a broken screen I'm sure.
-
Well said and your right in the great scheme of things it probably doesn't matter that much as you point out things like backgrounds and shadows are never "correct" in comics there just there to give a impression
-
Well its been a while since i loaded my crab up and since my installation got fobared by windows i cant just go take a look but from memory there are 2 back packs one for archnoa armour and one for normal costumes.
The thing with the archons armour one is that it was made to work with the crab spider body type at a certain size and if you alter anything from the norm it go's weird
If you've not already try going to the tailors and making a small change to your chest or body scale slider it may fix it as it fixed mine when the pack was stuck inside my chest. -
Personally I'd like to see them put street XP and Mission XP back at the same level then I'd like them to double it maybe even triple it what with patrol XP i don't even see the det on some toons.
-
I think some of your problems may be on how you have your graphics setting set up so you may want to play about with them a bit and see if you cant get somthing more to your likeing.
The screen shot you have of the tunnel entrance in all honesty i can see a great deal wrong with it while yes the shadow is rather sharp its entirly possible to get similar shadows in the real world so its not all togeather unrealistic i will agree tho that the car appears have been painted in day glow yellow.
As to fixing it i suppose its a case of balance is it worth giving more processing power/time to better shadow if only very small percentage of the gaming community will notice and appreciate the change? -
Sounds more like a bug than anything that should be happening normally i would take some screenshots so as easier to demonstrate the problem and submit bug report you could also post in the Bug section of the forums.
-
Well its not really power leveling tho is it not in the traditional sense any ways as the pack-ted toons only gain half the XP they would gain normal and as only one toon will be getting played the active character is going to take twice as long to lvl up which in theory could be a good thing as they'll be around longer
-
It also eats a fair chunk of endurance when activated and returns less (i think) than power sink so I'm not sure if you could get enuff endurance back to fight indefinitely.
-
You made zero point all i see is some one having a tantrum that i would normally associated with a 2 year old.
And who's this amazing chosen few i see loads of opinions on this forum every day i don't agree with them all but there still opinions and people still have them i fail to see where this great conspiracy that there's some elite group about here and that only they have a valid opinion if that was the case there would be no disagreements on here and i would have no one to argue with. -
Oh very good you've proved you can use the copy and paste functions now hows about instead of making a stupid post you post something constructive?
-
Um because for one any competition could be seen as bad if CoH was to go down there would be a hoard of Super hero MMO players looking for a new game and CO could fill that void (as could DC) also CoH, Co, and DCO are all aimed at the same market they may have different visual styles but there effectively the same idea (you take on the roll of a super hero and interact with a word populated by other heroes) so I'm afraid your wrong when you say they are aimed at different audiences that's like saying dooms not a threat to unreal tournament because they have different visual looks and ones tournament based and the others story driven (just) there still both firmly in the first person shooter category just like CoH, CO, and DCO are all in the Superhero MMO category.
-
That would be the Original creator who are now the direct competition so it would be most beneficial for them if CoH were spectacularly Fail just before the release of there new game you mean?
*edit*
dammit i was gona stop replying to these wasn't i -
If it was a week the average player would have no chance of collecting enough Cains to get things like the winters gift IO set especially if they also wanted to get some of the costume parts.
-
I would have to question your commitment to a SG if your unwilling to commit 1 out of 5 costumes to a SG but your quite happy to use a special 6th SG costume slot.
I wonder how many who think this is a great idea would actually use the costume as a SG costume if it was implemented and how many would treat it as just a costume. The way i see it is if you want a SG costume that much your gonna be willing to set aside o1 out of 5 slots to have a SG costume -
changing direction with SJ/CJ is nothing like the speed of fly its much faster.
If you really want double jump get your self the GvE Jump pack it lets you "jump" mid air -
Of course were once again applying real world rules to what clearly isn't a real world slain (the only duel wielding axe man i can think of off hand) frequently did things that you shouldn't do with axes to things that shouldn't exist in the first place.
And while yes duel axes could look really really good with new animations and powers but in reality its going to take a lot longer to create a new duel axe power set than it is to port the current axe models to duel blades, Not to mention creating another weapon based power set is just going to stir up the hole CoH wants to be WoW debate again and probably start a "why do tanks/brutes/stalker/scrappers get yet another new power set while (insert AT that i didn't just mention) hasn't has a new set in X time. -
Yea but you could if you wanted to and when you can carve thru volt doors with said axes I'm pretty sure if you were to thrust one into some ones chest its going to leave a mark
-
Actually DM has high DPS but low burst damage making it excellent for chewing through minions and such but less good when it comes to something that can smack you back.
I'm thinking that Sitriel may be correct tho in that fire may be your best option far doing anuff damage to take down a AV it has some good high power attacks and the fact that most do some lvl of DoT will go some way to of setting the AVs Regen rate.
From personal experience with my fire/stone its probably possible to take a AV i cam very close to taking the Rikti war leader boy solo but in the end he one but i have a far from optimised build with good slotting and good IOs i recon a fire/stone could be a AV killer. -

The SG leader designs the basic issue cossie with the SG tailor. This set would be available to everyone in a special SG costume slot. Then every individual can optimize this costume to fit his own personal look using the normal tailor for the normal fees within design parameters set by the SG leader.
[/ QUOTE ]
Except when dose that SG costume just become another costume plain old costume? if they can change everything its just another costume slot if they can only change it within parameters set by the SG leader what are they paramaters? you can change everything except the colors, then its just what we have the now. you can only change head details, that means any character that has monstrous legs or cyborg arms must accept they cant have them when in there SG mode.
I'm just failing to see how this SG costume slot could be achieved without either just giving every one in a SG another costume slot or alienating players why have spent a lot of time on there costume because it places to many restrictions on what the SG member can do to the costume to customise it. -

Personally, I'd rather they'd killed the base rent concept altogether and just made bases more expensive to build in the first place.
[/ QUOTE ]
This makes the most sense it should take a lot to build the base but once built it should be yours -
Yea u could probably get away with axes as most of duel blades attacks are pretty swipe like.
hammers tho would need a hole new set doing Smashing damage rather than lethal but could look pretty cool and would be great on brutes (drifts of to thoughts of duel wield mace brute smashing his way thru mercy) -

Is such a option even really needed any more what with the ability to save costumes and the abundance of costume change tokens i for example have 3 slots on defender but have 5 costumes all 5 are saved and i can just swap them around as needed
If SGs wanted a costume all they would need to do is create the costume on a character that didn't have any special extras (cape, weapons, auras etc) save it and then host the file some where.
this would mean any one could have the SG costume and they could tweak it as they see fit (adding that robot arm(s)/legs, Hood, sunglasses etc)
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes i would applaud such a mode. Why? Because i love designing costumes and I would hate to lose a costume because my SG likes us all to have the same costume. And I am not the only one, I met quite a few people who don't even want to consider doing that. Going to a tailor for every SG change is silly. Say you want to do SG business once a week then you would lose 2 of those free tailor sessions a week. Those free tailor session would be gone in one month.
But why bother with an SG costume in the first place? Easy, it is something to bind the fellow SG members together. I have seen it work in the SG's that use this.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well if it was me and i was doing SG stuff every week i would have my SG costume allocated to a slot permanently and have my least used costume stored away. but that's just me.
As to binding a group together surly that's the current point of the SG colors? the thing is a actual costume is never going to accommodate every players character are you going to force members to get rid of there robotic arm? or bestial legs? because they don't fit with the costume that's why colors work better every one can apply colors to there cu rent costume (unless there nude) and those colors unify the team. -
I do it and im not a RPer in the sense of i turn up at galaxy girl i do however have a strong sense of what my character can do and i need multiple alts to explorer it.

I think that's the problem as a RP tool it sounds great but in reality its not so great because those that RP and Even those who have a strong idea of who and what there character is don't like the idea of there character being messed with
