    Arms are out of the question, like I said in my previous posts (read them). Pinchers created in the same style as the VEAT crabs would be possible, but would take some work.

    Phantoms your very wrong extra limbs are entirely possible under the current game engine without need of reworking the models don't believe me just look at the crab spider veat's the have 4 extra limbs that are animated.

    Also it wouldn't be the first time new tech has been tried out as part of a booster pack as the cyber booster made use of combat auras which are something new in fact booster packs are a great place to have new tech as

    1) cool new stuff will get people buying and 2) your development costs are covered by those people buying.

    As to what i would like to see in a booster pack i would love for the mutant one to have loads of mutations in it back tentacles ala kheldian squid forms, extra arms/large tentacles, mutant arm ala the robotic arms so you could mix them up a bit, big claws like dwarfs have and if they really want to push the boat out the ability to change the lower body for that of a snake or spider look (yea i know pipe dream)

    the super speed thing could be done kinda with the current teck just make super speed a "weapon" power and then make that weapon customisable at the tailor in much the same way that shields can be many different things so could super speed (could probably do it with the other travel powers as well)

    falling damage from super jump yes very stupid SJ should negate falling damage and combat jumping should probably reduce it.

    and i wont start on granite armour.
  3. I like that idea it could even be used to cover a few vet rewards for example 45 month permatemp version of aid other then later on a permatemp version of Healing aura to avoid the aura being over powered it could have a interrupt time similar to aid other

    As i understand it the rikti did invade Scotland but left again due to a number of reasons prime among them being that when invading Glasgow they returned to there drop ships to discover them burnt out and sitting on bricks even tho guards had been posted and security devices set.

    After this set back it was decided to invade another town and then however when a rikti strike team destroyed a local nutrition dispensary (cross ref Pub) they were set upon by a mob of apparently super powered individuals who were in previous to pain and possed super strength (they did however seem to lack balance).

    There was also numerous mentions of "haggis" its unclear at this time weather haggis is a super powered individuals code name, a horrendous creature of some description, or something the local populace eat.

    Also I've never really seen the point as Hero 1's sacrifice is only relevant to the heroes of paragon (and maybe the rest of the US and the UK) why would say russian or Chinese heroes stop wearing a cape?

    In short capes are like auras the only reason the fluff about them exists is to describe the fact that they represent a carrot eg

    "look at this get to lvl20 and you can ware this cool cape and get to lvl 30 and you get a cool aura"

    It would be far better if they got shot of the cape and aura level limit and instead replaced those carrots with something more fitting. For lvl 20 maybe a hero 1 cape or special costume piece (think of it like DC heroes wearing the Superman S if big blue sacrifices him self) its also if done well something any hero could ware regardless of if they would ware a cape or not.

    Same for auras why would my magic origin hero need a some weird tech pace maker power control thing and vice versa for my tech villain why dose he need to unlock his powers that are fully routed in technology and his own twisted genius by using something as un scientific as magic

    I throw a dart at the screen to see which alt I'll play for a bit. Generally I go through bouts of playing 2 or 3 toons for a few weeks until I get bored of them and then move on (this weeks duo are a Claws/WP scrapper who is now level 24 and a level 12 DM/WP Brute, which is the scrappers fault).

    Then generally I stick LFT on, make a shout out and either street hunt for a bit or do a mission or two while I wait for a PuG slot to show up, which never takes too long.

    Pretty much the same as this pick a alt and play about till a team invite turns up on occasion ill join a ITF or a LGTF or something if i have time

  11. They were more than likely ambushes that had missed there intended target as as far as I'm aware freaks don't appear at all in Perz park.
  12. At the low lvls you would be far better farming trolls they only really do smashing and lethal damage compared to freaks who do energy and have a good number of stuns and holds not to mention the end drain and the res debuff.
  13. Well in the end i stuck a Gsussians chance of build up in there and it seems to work tho at only a 5% chance it dosent fire all that offten

    I very much doubt its sealed if tabila was suddenly to receive a massive upsurge in players (not likely but still possible) i'm sure NCsoft would reevaluate there decision after all they could move it on to a guild wars style free to play model with paid expansion (which would have probably worked better in the first place)

    That is my point its and that's why i said those powers would have to go before the set was workable what i put up was just a quick off the cuff idea on the of chance it got any one else thinking and to demonstrate to the OP that not every power need be so linear.
  25. Sorry yes debuff was probably a bad choice as there will be times when the GM couldn't be taken down.

    I like the end buff idea for taking down Deathsurge

    Or hows about some special monster hunter recipes that you can use to make temp powers specially themed for monster hunting things like

    Elephant gun: this large bore Rifle causes extreme damage to GM class monsters (limited use temp that dose special damage Vs any Mob classed as a GM)

    Electro Harpoon: This specialised harpoon gun delivers a shocking surprise to any giant monster it hits (limited use temp that dose a long stun and a hefty dose of damage to GMs)

    Super web grenade: A larger version of the standard web grenade with specially concocted webbing for taking down those larger than normal critters (limited use temp that can immobilize a GM as well as slowing its re gen)

    Also get all the GMs and you could be awarded a accolade.

    Monster Hunter: you have proved yourself time and again that when it comes to rampaging monsters your the man to call (+specil damage when tackling GM class critters )
