Did you consider theres no such thing as what we would consider a phisical disability in the world of CoH there medical tech is clearly far more advanced than that of the real world.

I very much doubt storage space is a huge factor in not doing customisable pets after all space is cheep and they could limit the amount of customised pets you could have to a single set so no different looking pets on different costumes.

Yes and no a more accurate description of lightning rod would be that you some how transform into or call down lightning then youseing this transport your self a short distance and the arrive via the same lightning bolt damaging all those who happen to be where the bolt strikes.

regardless of weather its the power that causes it or its caused because of a hole in protection its still a folly plus i very much doubt its a intended hole in the power.

check disk normally only runs if you've either requested it to run on next start of if the PC was improperly shut down (crashed,froze etc etc) it will most likely continue to try and run until whatever's causing the problem is fixed.

Best bet would be to allow it to run and when it looks as if its frozen leave it I've seen check disk sit on the same file for a good 10 - 15 mins before moving on especially if its trying to fix the file.

Another option would be to run check disk from a XP installation CD 2 do this insert your XP CD and then reboot the machine it should ask if you want to boot from CD say Yes.

you'll be presented with a few options you want the one that's something like press "R" to run repair console you should get something that looks like dos appear asking which installation of windows you wish to log onto normally you'll only have the 1 so type 1 and enter. It will now ask you for the administrator password if you have one type it in if not just hit enter.

you should now have the C prompt will look something like

C:\windows\

from here you run check disk by typing

chkdsk /p /r

and hitting return and that should be it it will now troll its way through your PC fixing files and stuff with any luck it fix any problems that having to forcibly restart the PC has caused it mite even fix your CoH problem as well but i wouldn't hold my breath as its more likely something else.

the check will take a wee bit of time (should be no more than a houri imagine) just let it run and at the end it should show a list of anything is fixed once its done remove the XP disk and restart the PC.

Well after having the pleasure of teaming with a similar lvl duel blades/energy aura (lvl 30 i think) stalker last night I'm more convinced than ever that elec armour needs power sink swapping with conserve power and the heal added.

As while we were about equal in over all damage that we were taking where i had to swallow a lot of greens and blues (and when they ran out drop back and rest) he was able to fire of energy drain every (other) fight and top up his end and HP meaning over all he was far more effective than my claws/elec could ever hope to be.

Also agreed never understood why using lightning rod makes u vulnerable to KB.

If they ever do rework the mail feature it would be nice if they included the ability to either send mail to a global name or be able to look at the mail on your other characters without having to log from one to the other.

I meant to add as well I'm not sure about the Aegis in tough according to mids it gives AoE defence for both 3 and 5 slots i guess its probably a result of when they paired up typed and positional defence but i wonder if it'll get changed at some point or even if its already changed.

And by the sounds of things its only going to get worse what with ITV getting shot of most of there dramas not that i particularly liked hart beat but it was a dam site better than there "celebrity has-bean dose something stupid" shows that now seem to be there staple.

I mean who watches these programs i mean i can see how maybe one would be interesting maybe even 2 shows about celebrities or Joe public doing something they wouldn't normally or being stuck in a house/jungle/island with some more randoms but surly we don't need the dam things back to back on every channel and when its not either of the above its some kind of medium program where (insert person you've never heard of before) talks either to more (supposedly) random audience members about there deer old nan or go's and "investigates" some old buildings. Male widows are only disturbing because up till the release of SoA widows were female only if there had been female and male widows from the start it wouldn't have been as weird.

Yea i recon customisable pets is way up there in things the player base wants at the very least it may appease those desperate for new MM sets as they could at least have the same primary but with a different look.

and while I'm not a immediate fan of the OPs idea of giving faction models its a step in the right direction. Personally tho I would much prefer if they were gonna go down the different selectable models route that they did a variation for each set based on origin and then made faction skins unlock able in a similar way to the current weapon customisation.

Had a further play with the build not a massive boost in performance slightly lower smash/lethal defence (still capped tho) fire cold is probably ridiculously high at %52.6 but i can find a way to shave some of that of and get defence else where. Energy is also really high at %57.5 negative is now %47.3 Psi is still 24.1 melee has dropped to 21.6 which is a pity with ranged going up a bit to 28.5 AoE has also gone up to %35.

resistance values are all the same tho there's now a very small 2.3 res to psi

On the upside your max HP is marginally higher as is your end recovery (really small amount) and you have 101.8 max end instead of 100 plus your end use has dropped from 2.12 to 2.01 which should let you run tough and weave more

what you could do is swap out one of your obliteration sets for a sciroccos that would boost your fire cold a psy defence a bit higher and would still leave you soft capped for smashing and lethal.

Energy drain dose no damage whatsoever but dark consuption boosted with fury dose a lovely chunk of AoE dammage.

Glad other people answered that as I've never actually used one as i have a proper credit card (evil evil thing) and have been using it for my CoH needs and have only just started looking into them after the money man on radio 1 mentioned them.

try upgrading you video drivers or if you have the latest version get hold of a older version and downgrade and see if that makes any difrence.

Failing that it could well be that your GFX card is faulty get a hold of 3dmark and run that see if it causes you PC to hang as it'll run the card through its passes and if its iffy should cause it to fail.

Also GFX cards (and PC in general) get hot really really hot so make sure there's no dust or fluff covering vents if your adventure's open the case up and give it a hover (just hold the hover over the board don't actually touch the board) also give the fans on the GFX card a spin round make sure there moving freely oh and do all that while its switched off electrical safety and all that

Cant remember of hand but i thing the defence bonuses from zephyr are pretty good definitely worth the slots any ways tho when I'm normally working on a build i stick them in combat jumping not SJ but that's probably just me.

I believe energy drain dose take heal enhancements also i recon siphon life is pretty well slotted as is it doesn't need a great deal of recharge to make it a useful and what with its recent boost to damage its worth slotting for that as well.

Touch of fear is definitely worth it if you can fit it in as its a handy power good for taking out a minion for anything higher it needs a couple of applications of course time spent doing that is time not spent smashing the face in of said unlucky target so its probably dependant on play style if you'd find it useful or not.

did they not a few issues ago do something that stopped altered forms (dwarf, granite, Squid) from using certain emotes maybe its went wrong and stopped all emotes.
