Did one of the devil may cry games not have a guitar as a weapon?
-
I had horrible lag/map disconnects in sharkshead a couple of nights ago weird thing was it was only sharkshead that i got it in but it cleared up by the following day.

there wouldn't be any effects instead numbers and equations would float around your character

perhaps something more along the lines of a buff secondary based on mathematical calculation would be more fitting ?

Well i like it its certinly difrent with a bit of balancing could make a exilent set -
words escape me so smiles will have to do.
All i can say is thanks for the planner and all the work you've put into it over the years its been a great and useful tool and helped me plan out many a build
Thanks! -
It lacks pretty much any form of damage mitigation you have no defence so most attacks hit you you have no self heal or increased HP regeneration so you have no way of gaining back lost HP
On a brute the set just works but its far from perfect and many players take aid self or weave to off set the huge no defence no hp recovery holes
now transfer the set to other ATs we can already see that it dose not work well for stalkers there low HP even at 50 meaning they notice that 20% of damage that gets through the resistance.
On a tank yes you would have far more HP to start with and be able to achieve higher resistance values without out side buffs but you are expected to take more damage and eventually your HP would be chipped away and you wouldn't have the luxury of being able to disengage from the fight to recover
the set could maybe work on scrappers as they have the high damage output and could make good use of the constant endurance recover and increased attack rate but even then i'm not sure how good they would do as they wouldn't have the high res values of brutes. -
I don't think any one said there was anything wrong with elec melee its a great set. Its elec armour that has problems
-
Just in case you don't know.
Type-R = High powered -
by 40 any end problems should be taken care off slotting attacks 2xacc 2xend reduction can go a long way reduce endurance drain then there's also IO sets its pretty easy to pick up some extra recovery from them so end management should be ok
Mace recently got a few rather hefty buffs and its now a rather good set i currently have a mace/elec at 22 and he works well Axe is also good tho not as good as mace but you do get more knock down from axe so it can be good for soft control. -
Please expand your comment tunch its always helpful to know how you see the set as over power to much defence? to much +dmg? is the spectrum of buffs to much?
-
Elec will more than likely make it across to tanks at some point via power proliferation however its the general consensus that elec armour needs some work before its fit for any AT other than a brute (and even on them its not great)
-
Hmmm very often it depends on which toon I'm playing
On my elec armour toons i like Malta purley because i smile every time a sapper tries to zap me for some reason a little seen plays in my head of the poor sapper desperately firing his weapon at the charging brute and it not having the desired effect.
Freaks are always good for a bit of fun ands often fun to have stand up fight with one of the tanks and the poor minions getting flung about by the overspill from my AoE KB powers.
I love shivians as well and used to hunt them in the PvP zones till they made the PvP changes and now they just slaughter me
Oh and hellions are great fun i dream of the day when they revamp DA and the hellions take up residence there in a big old abandoned church. -
are they ill have another look tho i think the most i have on the toons that need teh KB protection is about 500,000 i dont suppose theive went that cheep
-
I curently have a energy/energy at 18 and so far its been pretty fun suffers when faced with a lot of foes but then thats the nature of defence
-
There's loads of interesting things they can do with day jobs there's the obvious temp powers and buffs which are fun and applying comic book logic if you worked at a Power Station/electricity generator your gonna end up with some freaky power.
But they could also have costume parts associated with the day jobs spend enough time at a fire station get a fireman costume etc. -
I wouldn't mind seeing merits switched from a character based reward to account based reward so any merits earned would go into a central merit fund that you could then draw from.
-
Thanks hopefully ill get lucky and get a few then as i seem to have a obsession with dark armour and fire armour this weather
-
Some of the problem comes from the fact that the powers over lap so much make the individual powers weaker and it would harm any one who didn't pick up all the powers. the finale power could be turned into a AoE click similar to mind link with a longish maybe 3 min recharge and a 1 min duration.

UK people accepting price hikes? Wow, that's completely unheard of...
[/ QUOTE ]
not just UK, Scottish. We're not all penny pinchers. Although, TBH, it was kinda a joke, they end up screwing us for the cost of things anyway, at least if we were all getting screwed equally it wouldn't be so bad.
[/ QUOTE ]
Scottish here too. No need to justify a cultural stereotype that I have never EVER seen in anyone I've ever know in my 32.5 years of living in this country, despite people telling me that I'm penny pinching because I'm Scottish.
[/ QUOTE ]
yeah, I know, if anything I find we're often quite generous.
edit: Which doesn't mean I'm giving NC an extra fiver for nothing!

No idea where that stupid stereotype comes from bugs me something rotten when some one starts on about it as well -
Am i right in thinking that the steadfast and Karma -KB recipes would come under a bronze class roll in architect?
-
the thing is had tehy done it while the exchange rate betwean pound and euro was equil would any one have complained
*edit*
of course they would but you know what i mean -
Yea i noticed that and figured i had just missed it in the patch notes looks like the Devs do pay attention to us
Re: the base TP i believe it now works on charges as well at least I'm sure the one sitting in my power bar had something like 2 charges on it. -
hey i never said my attempt to make it less powerful would be any good tho that hold is actually a fear and if the power accuracy was relatively low it wouldn't matter so much if it had a high mag.
the +resistance in Motivate could change to +resist status effects
Also remember some powers are single target so recharge times on them are going to effect the boost they give as are the end cost of any toggle powers
also the accuracy in outnumber should probably be changed to to-hit. and the accuracy in in teamwork should probably be dropped.
Playing with some numbers total stat boosts for auras could look something like.
+To-Hit 40%(max) 22%(min)
+def 15%
+dam 40% (max) 22%(min)
+res 20%
for a single target they would be something like note that these assume you apply all the single target buffs on one friend which may not be the case.
+To-Hit 50%
+def 30%
+dam 50%
+res 50%
+HP regen 65%
+end rec 55%
Of course the single target boosts can be further increased with the receiver of them staying within aura range.
Also these numbers are all for the modified version i came up with the OP originally had more variety in its buffs and more damage
