I also am a little surprised the angle they went with the canon for ROGUE. Yet again they went with alternate versions of their existing signature characters. Pretty lame. It was a good opportunity to launch a few new key characters.
Honestly, I am tired of waiting to hear about what ROGUE will contain. I was in CHAMPIONS closed beta and I am in the open. I pre-ordered the Amazon version of that game today and will likely leave CoX. I have had enough of their SOON crap. -
Yeah there is absolutely no reason to raise the level cap. Pointless. New innovations/end game are the way to go.
I see on the PAX agenda there is no talk of ROGUE. That is unfortunate as I am looking to head to CHAMPS and there is no way I am paying for 2 MMOs.
If ROGUE is of the same calibre most of the recent issues have been, I will have to leave. I am hoping instead ROGUE is full of new innovations etc. Could be possible considering how lean the last few issues have been. Ah well, Sept is almost here and I'll have to figure it out. -
So there's another panel for the AE stuff with DEVS. Will there be any new reveals regarding ROGUE? The stuff they put out on ROGUE is likely the deciding factor on if I stick here or go to CHAMPS. I hope to stick around here but during my time here, most of the issues and additions have been very lacking. Time for CoX to step up...or so I hope

I guess ROGUE depends on when i16 hits and how long they fix any possible bugs from that after it is out. So, I would guess 16 hits in Sept (early) and maybe ROGUE closed beta hits in October. It could be in time for a Dec release or early Jan which would let them put it out for the X-Mas season.
I am just curious to see what they will include in this expansion. We see a few things but there should be a lot more big stuff. Seems like it will be really cool but what I want to see is them not using any of the old mission maps. We have seen the same old same old for too many years - this will make or break the game for me. The other listed features seem awesome and must haves as well and mission maps are just as key for me.
I am also guessing we will see some new ATs - similar to CoV.
Anyway, lots of questions! Exciting times! I might actually come back from CO for this! -

Hopefully next week's news is more about ROGUE. This game is stale and power customization isn't going to fix that. In the end you're doing the same old, same old. I hope ROGUE has a bunch of new innovations and we can stop with the 'cosmetic' issues/updates.

Wow. Another one of these. Ugh.
AE is a great tool and gives you some really cool abilities. I was getting fed up with the same crap we would normally see and now I can make my own or try and find someone else's cool creation.
Currently AE is being abused but I am sure anything new will be exploited as much as possible. It's a new toy - let the novelty wear off and maybe things will return to 'normal' -
I don't get why the company wanted to start an official thread regarding ROGUE. We know so little about what we're getting or when. What can we really talk about? It has deteriorated to discussing female body types and the such?
Ah well. Maybe we'll get something. -
More interested in ROGUE and not really too concerned about coloring my power or more power proliferation.

I thought we'd at least get an approx. date for release.
Anyway, I am hoping this expansion brings as much as CoV did. I hope that means new ATs, NEW maps/mission maps (please don't ever use what we have ever again - done to death) and the side switching ability etc.
If you don't get the box does that mean you cannot side switch?? -
Been playing for just over 18 months now. Have gone to extra efforts to get all the add-ons one can for this game (limited eds., Vills pre-order etc) in addtion to everything else you can buy. Sadly, I don't think I can buy this item. It is too lacking and the costume pieces we do get are so...regular. Nothing special or exciting from what I see.
The ability to change size from costume slot to slot might get me but so far....no. I want to support the game but not when I'm getting next to nothing for my money. -
Will there be ROGUE info then too? At Comic Con, I mean.

I am thinking there will be several new and re-hashed powers. Just like CoV introed a whole new bunch af ATs, so should Rogue. New zones and maps should be there too. I think they said more info in July so...

What kinda info will you release about ROGUE? An approx. date for going live maybe?

Ok with the MA changes in mind, was there a change to the ADD AN ALLY option in the mission? Prior to i15 your ally could die and the mish would continue. Now, the ally dies and you fail? That is so wrong and if this is going to be the case they should note it somewhere when making the mish.

MA seems to have some issues as well. I have a timed mission and it FAILS the team 10 mins. into it (60 min. timed mission).

MA is a great tool but the DEVS dropped the ball by having so many AE buildings. It has made a significant impact on the game.
I really enjoy making missions and having them involve all custom toons. I am sick and tired of 'official' content where it is the SAME mission just with different text. That is just pathetic. Same enemy group, same boss, same map...over and over and over. I almost get physically ill when I play some of these arcs.
Anyway, MA is a great tool and I think they might make some changes (XP reduction etc) and change it. A smart thing would be to have only a few buildings a side and have them in higher zones but I am sure that won't happen - that would involve the CoX brain trust admitting they made a mistake and didn't really think out the implementation of the MA into the game! -
Why don't you guys also add the EU game servers to ours and collapse a few of OUR dead servers. You have many to choose from, that's for sure.

So will ROGUE include new ATs? Much like CoV had a bunch of new ones, I am assuming ROGUE will have a bunch too. I assume the spy class would be one and hopefully there are more.

I am thinking it won't be until near the end of the year. However, there is a side of me that thinks it will be in Sept. to compete with CO. After all, it's not a completely new game and I am betting it has been in the works since the end of last year.
I hope there are a lot of new features in the expansion including public area missions and all that stuff. Maybe this games version of the nemesis system too! -
I don't know why anyone would think i16 would be ROGUE. Issues are do not cost extra and have to be given to subscribers so the game is updated for all. Expansions are what you have to pay for if you want that additional content. So, issues are essential and expansions are optional, if I am not mistaken

I know the DEVS are not going to give us a release date but can they tell us the order of items coming out? Is i16 next or will it be Rogue?
