  1. Des always looks good, and Becaro always does great stuff, so I guess it's no surprise that I dig this one too! Her hair does look awfully good.
  2. This is just stunningly awesome to look at. I especially love the angle looking back down at the ground.

The only thing I'm wondering (sorry, my tiny little pilot brain is clicking) is, what exactly is she doing there? Getting prepared to assist the ailing jet? Just arrived on the scene and is sussing out the situation? (Hopefully the crew is busily following their emergency engine fire checklist and talking to ATC.)

On the aesthetic side, though, this is just gorgeous.
  3. Huge thanks to these generous and talented artists for some lovely art:

With the criminal lack of phone booths nowadays, how do natural heroes get into those costumes so fast?
    A quick change by Battlewraith

I just love the color on this one:
PinUp Girl by Seraff aka Solantis

Thank you both--love both pieces so much
  4. They never let me have the electric Legos when I was a kid
  5. The Masked Shrike

    New avatar toy

Thanks for the link--I'm going to have to play with this one
  6. I definitely use those sliders like I'm gonna slap their mamas. I like my ladies to have curves (but I have never ramped that chest slider all the way). For some reason my friends compliment many of my ladies on their nicely-shaped behinds, so I suppose I must be managing all right on that end.

The one slider that I do tend to forget is height. I've had to delete and recreate more characters because I forget that one. If only there was some way to change it later! It's the reason that Teardown, PinUp's evil alternate twin, is so enormously Amazonian. I'd already deleted and remade her about 5 times for various reasons that evening and couldn't force myself to do it again. My explanation for this rather glaring discrepancy? "It's magic. Don't worry about it."
  7. Wow! OK, another one to add to the wishlist...my god, that list is getting to be longer than Michael Phelps' medal rack.

    Beautiful work.
  8. Very cool character!

Alas, I am no artist. But I will look forward to seeing what the artists come up with!
  9. I love it, LJ, and I know a certain player who is going to be really happy to see this. And he could use some good news (RL has reared up and hit him hard).
  10. Wow, that looks great! Very slick.
  11. I am embarrassed to admit I workout using DDR on my Wii. It's not a pretty sight. Haven't tried the WiiFit yet but if there's river rafting I might have to break it out today. (I picked mine up at Costco but it was bundled with a bunch of stuff.)
  12. Very atmospheric, really well done.
  13. Amazing work, LJ. I love the way you did the lightning. Classic heroes vs villain look!
  14. Dang, that's totally cool. *thumbs up*
  15. Cool piece, grats!

And also, clever linkage! Thanks for the idea.
  16. Extremely cool. I have a weakness for gunslingers Grats on your new piece of greatness!

*waits patiently for dual pistols heroside*
  17. You are all ninjas. Ninja *pirates*.
  18. Congratulations, what a group of great pieces! Really love the look of the power effects, especially the flames.

New art makes everything better. It's soothing like balm.
  19. Pains is certainly appropriate...

Yes, that's sister Val pwning Jake in the foreground, PinUp is in the back getting thrown around by her husband. Which can be fun under the right circumstances.
  20. Gammaknight just keeps doing beautiful things. And what an awesome gift, too. I love the colors of this character's costume...just neat all the way around.
  21. Simply splendid. But I'm just a retro kinda gal. Congrats on another wonderful work!
  22. I do love the style of this piece--really great!
  23. Happy birthday and grats on that cake
