I rolled up a demon summoner after seeing how awesome demons look in action. My mercenaries were getting a little stale.
And then I discovered that demons are unable to properly /emote many things! They won't play the drums for me, but they will hold torches... do any other power sets suffer this limitation? I love masterminds and will eventually want to try every flavor of them... the ones that can /em correctly, at least.

Except it doesn't matter because you can run out to Prae at level 1 as a red or blue character.

Make sure to find out what your global chat handle is so that we can find you regardless of which toon you're on. Mine is @Demacian and I, too, just joined recently so we'll be close to the same level when my copy of Good vs Evil arrives.
If you level up your blaster some, I've currently got a level 14 controller that would love to do missions with someone who can kill the whole room. (I've got the room mezzed but it's... dying... really... really....slowly.......) -
I have been making heavy use of my free trial days and have finally gotten a bit tired 5ish days in. As you can see in my sig I've gotten a lot done! So to take a break from the game, I'm reading about the game, and saying hi on the forum for my new online home.

Deacon, I did the build in Mids and it appeared to break 45% when I dropped bots completely and tried switching it to Demon. Or are you talking about reaching 45% even against +1 mobs or LTs or something? -

With my main toon I have done every blueside arc, but when he went villain as a 50 I was limited to Ouro and the generousity of lowbies. Appearently there aren't as many lowbie VEATS out there, or not as many lowbie VEATS that need/want help, as there are lowbie HEATS. So I missed a few VEAT missions, and its possible I missed a handful of red non-flashbackable missions.
I'm happy with my progress so far, but I REALLY want those goldside badges!
I love to group, and so far I HATE the villain zones. They have significantly more walls / dead ends than hero zones, and unless I turn up the gamma they hurt my eyes too. I think Captain Havana is my only red-zone villain; the others are in Praetoria.
TL;DR - I'm @Demacian on the Victory server and feel free to consider me a "generous lowbie"! -
Pretty cool of you to create a drag & drop template for people - also cool that it's actually made for real play, not just min/maxing. (Notably, Caltrops is 6 slotted entirely for damage/control and is not contributing towards getting defense capped while still being a great tool.)
That said, the same character with non-set enhancements is only looking at ~26% defense. Is this purely a money-out-the-wazoo build? With those enhancements, could you pretty much grab any primary or secondary that gives a DEF buff or two, add Weave, and get similar numbers?
(These questions aren't rhetorical - I'm learning as fast as I can, but I am currently capped at level 14 until my order of Good vs Evil ships. Makes it a bit harder to grasp what happens at high levels.)
