The word "top" is the first clue. Actually, beyond a clue it is practically a hate crime against the devs.

And then the clincher "IoP's". My daughter almost saw that. Sure she's 5 and can't quite read yet. But still - it could have scarred her for life.
The OP needs to stop with the passive hating and make constructive threads. Like maybe a list of the top 10 things you'd like done in CoX. Heck, you could ask other people to add their ideas to the list.

Hiding behind curiosity while passively hating on the devs and actively insulting fellow users is not the way. Most of the items on your list are cool, but it's not as if the devs said "Man this stuff is sweet. Let's not do any of it, just to spite the population". Probably, technical issues and time constraints, as well as competition with more widely known MMO's, (like WoW) forced the neat stuff to the back.
I get the feeling that the developers aim to better the game, instead of working for more customers. No need to be so tense, just relax and let the improvements flow through. This game is definitely on the up and up.

After testing several up and coming MMOs.
I am afraid, for me atleast, the only Super Hero MMO that I like is this one.
I tried DCUO recently, didn't like it.
I tried CO recently, didn't like it.
I played Prototype, didn't get into it.
I played InFamous, didn't like it.
I tried Marvel Ultimate Alliance, didn't like it.
But I am sure there are other people who would love a game like that. -
I wonder when they will release a full overview of GR. It's kinda strange to not show what's going to be in an expansion when it is first revealed (side-switching excluded).

You forgot the Blood of the Black Stream, which were referenced by name in one low-level mission in CoV, the one with the Hellion guy Duke Modragar having a meeting with an Omen of Bat'Zul. That's more than what Avilians got, a single hollows mission with a clue concerning an odd looking humanoid skeleton.
Then they decided to just give wings to everyone as a costume piece and Avilians were forgotten about. -

I know that they first said "new zones" - which could mean as few as 2 - but then they mentioned "several enw zones" - and several is more than just 2 - but I've not seen any hint that there'll be as many as CoV - although that could be possible if they're looking to make the Neutral/Mercenary idea into a proper 3rd faction. -

Are you really sure you want the developers to turn this into an "end game MMO"? Let me describe what one of those is like for you: all leveling zones except for the last few are completely devoid of anyone to team with. You are faced with soloing all the way up until you reach the same point the rest of the playerbase is focused around. Doesn't sound very fun to me. In face, it wasn't very fun to me at all, which is why I left that other game I played to come back home to CoH.

If the GR closed beta is going to be run like a real closed beta, as I suspect it will, the first group of testers will be looking at huge chunks of content not being there, big bugs out the wazoo, and maybe even limited, scheduled, playtimes. As a 60+ month vet, I'm not looking toward the GR closed beta and saying "Oh goody goody gumdrops, this will be great!"; I'm looking toward the GR closed beta and saying "There's gonna be a lot of work for me to do." -

If you like CO that is awesome for you. I think it sucks. I do not enjoy it. I currently know 37 people still in their Closed Beta, and I know 14 people from their Alpha/Closed Beta that have been kicked out because our opinions on how much that game sucked were not appreciated over there.
This forum is for how awesome City of Heroes is. You can keep your crap about CO. Dont spread your lies here.
