I thought the goal of this exercise was to see how Crystal's build would fare against another build(s) (sorry, no luckies, enraged of breaking free there, just pure planning.)
A test on how well you planned your build accompanied by your experience and skill you have acquired playing your character, and how you use these skills to your advantage.
In my opinion anyone can pop 4 x luckies, 4 x bf and 4 x enrage, kill something and then spend the whole time running away after his inspiration are done, waiting for the clock to run out.
But yes ... I suppose here we go again
If Crystal chooses to uses inspirations then he is free to do so, and I won't mind if we are in a duel. I just choose not to use inspirations in a duel. -

Any case Dior, your signature reminded me of a joke we tell here in South Africa
During the Anglo-Boer war a British general was marching his troops from what is now called Durban to Harrismith.
They were happily marching along when they noticed a young blonde Boer standing on a hilltop about 300 meters away from them shouting obscenities at them about their mothers and the King in broken English.
The general told 10 of him men to go over there and capture him. As they approached him he ducked in behind the hill. As the 10 Royal troops went over the hill you could hear a big ruckus and you could see dust clouds rising from behind the hill and polls of grass flying everywhere ... then dead silence.
The general watched the hilltop closely, but to his dismay the Boer came out with messy hair and a untucked shirt, again shouting even worse obscenities and calling the King a nanny.
The general was furious about his and he sent over 25 oh his troops to apprehend this foul mouthed Boer! Again the whole scenario replayed itself with polls of grass flying everywhere and then a deafening silence.
The general waited for his troops to come over the hilltop with the Boer in custody or dead, but no ... the Boer came out again, his his shirt torn, a cut on his eyebrow and bloodied fist ... and he was clearly upset and shouting "Is that all you got?!?"
This time the general didnt take any chances. The glory of the crown was at stake and he ordered his whole regiment to go and capture that Boer so they could publicly torture and kill him.
The regiment dissapeared behind the hill and it was total chaos. It sounded like Armaggedon was just beyond the hill, shouts of terror and pain was carried over on the wind to the generals ears, and then, all of the sudden, silence.
Now the general got worried and he took his binoculars and surveyed the hillside.
Then he saw one of his troops crawling over the ridge, clenching blonde hair between the fingers of his one hand and a grass poll in the other.
The general shouted out: "Did you get him soldier?" to which the soldier shouted back " No sir, you must run ... it's an ambush, there are two of them! " -

I am curious then ... for the same amount of money used in Dior's build, what would you have made then which would have been better? Do you have an example? -

Personally I don't use it, because it's not a true reflection of my build and it's abilities. -

I don't fully agree with you on that. My mate build a pvp orientated PB on Defiant called Techno PB, and I am sure a lot of people who have seen him in RV and Sirens on Defiant will agree. Those heals are impressive, as well as his recharge rates, resistances and stuns.
You might want to talk to him about his build or just take him on for the fun of it -

Yesterday was a big day for us as a SG. Our lowbies grinded up the levels so we could reach level 35 to get into Cimerora and some of our vets went and got out the shelved 50's and we attempted a run on the new TF.
We didn't know what to expect as we didn't try it on the test server and it was frankly a very unorganized affair :P
We started as a team of 8:
1 x Invul tank
1 x WP Brute
1 x WP scrap
1 x Regen scrap
1 x Arch blaster
1 x Elec blaster
1 x PB
and me on my fire/kin
First we lost the elec blaster due to unforeseen circumstances in the 2nd mission, then our tank got the Twilight Bug on the 2nd last mission and could not get back into the mission. He hit the PD Teleporter without realizing the impact of a mixed hero/villain team and yes ... we were minus a tank.
Even though this was just a "scouting" party to see what we can expect from the TF we did go into it with the idea in our heads that we would like to finish it, or at least fail @ the last AV(s).
Well, our PB and Brute did some superior taunting against the huge mobs while the blaster and the two scrappers did a great job in killing things.
At the last AV we had our doubts about finishing the TF. After much debate we decided to split the Romulas from his "hover balls of irritation".
To do this we did the following:
1. The Brute will run in and taunt the whole group to below the "temple's" stairs on the left.
2. The PB would then get into Light Form and taunt Romulas up the stairs back to the main door of the temple
3. The rest of us would then storm Romulas and proceed to beat on him like a gang of teenagers robbing a elderly old man of his pension money
4. After killing the Rommie we had to run like girls again, back to town to get inspirations. Of course we could not get any because of the TF and we could not leave the Zone to get some in base and we were reliant on other heroes and villians to drop us each a tray full of lucky's.
5. We went back and smoked the remaining the "balls of irritation"
6. The Brute attacked the one of the left (from original reset position) and lured it away (this was the one with doing all the siphon heals)
7. The PB grabbed the one on the right and we all focused on killing it and proceeded to the one which was left in the middle and killed that.
8. We had to make a run back to town for our mates to drop us of some extra lucky's
9. All of us popped 4 lucky's each and procceeded to kick the purpley snot out the last one.
1 x Cimerora TF done ... 5 hours and 5 minutes.
All in all it was a great TF, and we had some great players on the team.
So thanks to Techno PB and Shield Breaker for dying to keep the rest of us alive with the taunts, for Uli and Muskovite for killing so gloriously and Celtic for being a very decent mentor and bailing me out of trouble a couple of times with agro gained by slapping -regen on the AV's and the holds.
All in all, a TF well done boys.
I would like to thank DJ and Xem for dropping off the inspirations we needed as well as the other "nameless" heroes who pitched in.
We are doing a run at it again sometime soon, this time properly planned for and not in the middle of the week.
The content is great, great looking zone, awesome enemies and a overall good story line.

Just a big shout out to all the Smurfs, the guys from Murders and friends on villian side. Thanks for going as a group into RV and livening up the place a bit.
Even though you sometime gank the living daylights out of us, you don't whine when there is 8 heroes and only 6 villians and the roles are reversed
Couple of fun "try to kill" moments pop into my head from last night.
Striking Smurfette? (DB/WP) standing in a mob of 3 scrappers and we couldn't kill her, same with London ... and while busy with one of the Brutes you get AS'd by ShockWas good fun.
Thanks again for all the pvp action in the zone the last couple of nights people. Looking forward to some more -
Build is good, you've certainly achieved your goals in three regards
1. The good defense % you get
2. The good resistance
3. Good regen
Here is two things that would worry me when rolling a toon like that.
1. Fire attacks
2. No actual traver power
Other than that I think you should be able to tank without to much troubleHave fun

Also removed the lvl 39 slot from Sprint and moved it over to Force Bubble and slotted it with a reduction recharge IO

Mind telling me what you think about this build? It's specced for buffing teams in Sirens/Warburg/RV
It has 3 attacks in Sirens, but only two slotted at lvl 30 and 4 fully slotted attacks at lvl 40
Please feel free to comment and give me some tips on how to make it better for team pvp.
When I have Dispersion and Invis on I get a 31-34% buff on myself

I would have loved to fit it in but there is a reason why I didn't.
I am not planning on getting to close to the combatants, this is more of a hit and run from a distance build if push comes to shove than an actual combatant.
Main goal is to drop buffs on the team, supply emergency heals for burst damage recipients and occasionally to do an attack when the need arises ... oh ... and to run away from the other team -

It looks like a good build, but I am planning one out for PVP purposes and here is what I got.
I am using SS and SJ because I want to be able to run/jump away @ high speed when someone is trying to kill me :P Hehehe, ok but seriously, it's just easier for me that way to get around, and I don't seem to come right with fly in PVP zones.

Yar, I know, but I'll make a plan somehow 2 work around the "handicap" in WB ... might drag a kin around for IR.
Bit worried that the regen / recovery is not enough ... espescially running those 5 toggles.
It's a fairy cheap build with only 3 purples, but I suppose one can always make it better if you get more money -

It's just a pain that on DM I do deal continuous low damage (he is @ lvl 30 now and a Sirens build), but eventually start worrying about my endurance because it seems that I don't get enough critical hits in.
I will try removing the to hit debuffs and replacing them with more damage, maybe that will sort out my problem

Yar,the problem with the bubbler is the zzzz's and the holds they stack on you (well, for me in pvp, pve ain't such a big issue with a team around you that can spare the time to slap CM on ya)
I am hoping to solve this through some IO sets, does anyone have any ideas who this type of build would look like and which IO sets to use?
