Quote:No, this would be from HeroCon this past weekend.

Anyone with QA experience would find the Q&A section at the end interesting to say the least.
And that's all I will say about it. -
Since the TF level bugs and AV bugs are still roaming, I'll not be partaking of the SatMat this week.
I'll wait until those two issues are resolved before losing my STF, ITF, or LGTF cherries. -

Color me confused, but good luck in whatever it is you are trying to accomplish here.

Quote:Well you know, you could try doing and reporting the same things that Leandro did and include the things you list. If you are experiencing a problem there, you know exactly what steps you are taking. Why expect someone else to waste their time testing something that you know how to reproduce exactly? Now try spending some time opening and closing storage items in your base and transferring stuff between your inventory, vault, WWs transaction slots and base storage. This is where the biggest memory leaks used to be. The only time I ever locked up was when I was reorganising my base storage or IOing a toon out from scratch and zoning in and out of my base and shifting stuff from one form of storage to another, getting salvage and crafting stuff etc.

Unless it was from before the Halloween event was loaded on the server, yes it was during an event. It may not have been the zone event with the banners but we do have the Eternal Night going on that allows us to Trick or Treat.

Since you don't mention it specifically, did you upgrade your video drivers? The ones included with Windows 7 cause various problems launching the game.
Download the Windows 7 drivers from the manufacturer's website and install those to see if it helps resolve your problems. -
Sorry I just noticed this, but in the OP you have the times listed for the Hero Hami Raid as 1 PM Pacific and 3 PM Eastern. If the 1 PM Pacific is correct, that would be 4 PM Eastern, and if it is 3 PM Eastern it would be 12 Noon Pacific.
Can we get clarification on the times? -
Quote:That was pretty much a one-shot deal last year. These notes are to butter BABs up before you ask the inevitable "do costumes cause lag" question, right?
True, I did make the comment about costumes causing lag in the hallway this year, but it was made as a statement, not as a question.
It wasn't my fault that BAB chose to start in on the "are you meaning system latency or .... " standard answer to that question.
I'll stick to trying to one-up whatever drinks are being sent Jay's direction, but I may have to start including Ken Morse, The Dark Watcher, Foxbat ... er ... Horatio, and of course pohsyb in the mix. First, I have to find out beverages of choice, and apparently preparation methods. i know I could likely order a Fat Tire for Fox... dangit ... Horatio and be good, but I'd rather know his real preference. -
Quote:As I said earlier, part of it was on Test the previous week, and part of it hit Test earlier this week.I'm actually mistaken there, looking more carefully - the post in the Test Server forum thread (a reply to the redname post with the patchnotes for the 10/26 patch) that first mentioned the Ouro bugs was made the night of the 28th.
Though, there's still a bit of confusion as to why they'd push a patch live so hurriedly (having it on the public test server for less than 48 hours of uptime?)
I think it was pushed live so quickly since some of it was fixes to the Halloween event and they wanted to get those out fast. -
Quote:*makes note for next year to have the bartender's number on speed dial for ordering Margarita's on the rocks to be delivered to panels in style*It was delicious. I'm more inclined towards 'on the rocks', but for a frozen one it was just the right mix.
*makes note to also find out any flavor preferences, salt/no salt, etc before placing said orders*
*makes note to take pictures of indignant look on Jay's face when the Margarita's arrive for BAB instead of Coors Light for him* -

Well Jack, see my response to your post in the other thread.
-
First, I recommend starting a new thread so that your issues don't get mixed up with someone else's.
Secondly, post a log from running CoH Helper as it will give information about your system and the CoH installation and settings.
Thirdly, post a log from running HijackThis. This will show what else is going on on your computer while you are playing CoH. -
The first post was Oct. 7.
Apparently 3 weeks or so is "a while". -
I so wish that someone had had the foresight to record the panel on The Life of A Bug.
Anyone with QA experience would find the Q&A section at the end interesting to say the least.
And that's all I will say about it. -
Red, be sure to look at this. The first image is the one you couldn't see at Buca.
*ducks and runs* -
Quote:Well, I watch the Test server forums pretty regularly and hadn't seen anything even before it went live, but since Reiska mentioned it being posted on the forums I was wanting to see where it was since I'd obviously missed it.Quote:Okay, it looks like yesterdays patch to Live included items from the patch to Test last week (10/20) and the one from this week (10/26) as well.
I've looked all over the Test Server forums and see nothing about the Oro problems being reported. Can you provide links please Reiska?
Of course, if it was posted between Thursday and Monday I wouldn't have seen it since I was without computer access. -
Which may explain why it isn't listed in the announcement about what is being fixed in the patch on Friday.
EDITS:
Also, I have a link a particular post in that thread over in a planning thread for a weekend TF, and it won't let me access it, so it's likely been deleted.
I can see how it would be exploitable, so won't mention it here. I'm sure others can come up with the same thought for the exploit, especially if it's clear enough for me to see.
