They are splitting the Lineage2 and Aion accounts off into a separate system.
It's apparently had some unintended consequences like the SSL certificate errors and the problem Snow Globe is having. -

CS is in Austin. OCR is in California. Two completely different departments for two different companies (NCSoft does CS, Paragon Studios does OCR). One of the OCR team is out until next week so it's just the two of them trying to do as much as they can.
And it's not a live video broadcast an hour later, it's their regularly scheduled Freedom Friday discussions on Facebook.
I thought it was rather nice of them to try to do this today, a day it wasn't planned to be done, especially since there was a change in plans on how to do it due to player complaints.
There were many things that weren't specifically stated, much of it due to the methods being changed. Yes, there were things they didn't foresee. Yes, some people still weren't going to be happy. But they are trying to be as equitable as they can.
I can understand them trying to limit it to once per day per person so that more people can be given codes. One of the previous complaints was from people snagging multiple codes before others even got the first code. -

I got in fine with my main account. Haven't tried with my other account. Will let you know if that one works.

Once I got my Followers list whittled down I set it to Protected. Part of this was due to new IT policies the district was looking at. Since there are times I say things there that I don't want them to see (I have an out of state school IT friend that I commiserate with about our users intelligence levels), I didn't want them to see what I'm saying.
For similar reasons I have my privacy settings pretty tight on Facebook and severely limit who is on my Friend's list.
The first Friend request I got on Facebook that I denied was from my oldest sister. Facebook is for gaming friends that I've actually met face to face. There are, I think, two CoH Friends that I haven't actually met. I have two other friends that are RL friends. One is a singer that I keep up with on FB so I know when she'll be in town (and her husband) and the other is an old friend that is recently retired from the Air Force and living in Tennessee. -

In the picture below, mine is set to Protected. Just click it to remove the checkmark, click Save Settings at the bottom and enter your password and click Save.

Yup! They still have a few more bugs to work out in this process; it seems they didn't factor in the "protected accounts" and how that would play in the event.
If your account is protected, and you are following @CityofHeroes, you can retweet their messages. But only the people on your "followers" list can see your retweets.
Since @cityofheroes doesn't "Followback" folks that follow them, you'll never get a request for @cityofheroes to be added to your followers list. And they'll never be able to tell that you are retweeting the stuff they send out.
The only 2 options in this case appears to be; to (temporarily) disable your protection, or to somehow get @cityofheroes to request to follow you in your protected mode.
I doubt they would request to Follow me, they have to put up with me enough on the forums as it is.

And my Tweets are now unprotected so that I'm ready for the next round, whenever that may be.
I won't be tweeting anything until then and will set it back to Protected after getting my code following my Retweet.
Figures there would be problems with this. I've been taking time off for a couple of weeks (all days in Contract worked + some extra) and go back to work next week so that I likely won't be able to participate then. -

If you get a code and are in the EU, send Zwillinger or Hit Streak a PM on the forums so we can verify & replace. These codes are NA only. -
And according to the latest tweet, all codes have now been sent out. If you haven't received a code it was because they couldn't send you a DM.
I guess that's due to my Protected settings?
