Granted, but it's a rather uninteresting book about Palin.
I wish this thread would die. -
I'd recommend contacting their support staff by phone as that will get direct results instead of email tag that doesn't really address the issue properly.
To contact support by phone, the information below was pulled from the PlayNC support site:

Psychobabe, are you using a Non-US version of Windows XP? That would explain why it can't access the registry and the strange dates shown on the drivers.
Since you are running an ATI video card and CoH Helper is unable to access the registry to show us your ingame video settings, please set your Catalyst Control Center and ingame settings to those listed in the first post of Bill Z Bubba's stickied ATI Issues and Settings Recommendations thread.
At the bottom of that post is a good guide to use to uninstall and reinstall video drivers cleanly. I'd recommend using DriverSweeper instead of Driver Cleaner since Driver Cleaner is no longer free. Make sure you are installing the newest driver for your video card so that it is up to date.
Let us know if that resolves the issues for you. Someone else may have a recommendation from the HJT log. I'd recommend stopping the SnoopFree program to see if that could be causing some of the problem. -
As I said, she's still too low for this. I can't get the levels needed in this short of a timeframe.

While many times it seems I'm wearing the snarky hat, very few realize it is just the sarcastic hat turned around backwards. There are other tones I can convey by doing different things with the sarcastic hat, but none of them requires me to remove the sarcastic hat.

Quote:Well, just be sure to let me know when Cryptic adds those to their game.OOOH! I just remembered!
We need to make sure that the right people at Cryptic are aware of the need for reflective items for bases!
We need mirrors!
And I wasn't aware that their game even had bases.
I'll stick with the NCSoft game that I currently play instead, so I'll need you to send me a PM when Cryptic gets those added to their game.
Thanks. -

Looking at what Arwen and Phantom are bringing, I guess it's a good thing Yellow Rose of Texas (Plant/Thorns Dom) is a bit too low still for this.

That's why Red got that awesome award and recognition from the Dev Team. That and all he did this year and last year to make things more awesome for the Justice players (and those from other servers that joined us and were subsequently adopted by Justice) and at the Meet N Greet a couple of years ago.
He truly deserves the name EM hung on him when giving out those awards, Mr. Justice.
Optimism and faith in the goodness of his fellow players make me proud to call him my friend. -
Make sure that you have installed the SLI Video Link Card that shipped with the motherboard correctly. Make sure that your monitor is connected to the video card in the PCI-E1 slot, not the PCI-E3 slot.
Go into the BIOS (Delete key during Boot), go to the Advanced BIOS Features page and set the Primary Graphics Adapter to PCI-E (or an SLI setting if available). I would also set the Full Screen Logo Display to Disabled to allow you to see any error messages during bootup.
Go down to the Chipset Feature sub-menu and set the Onboard Video to Disabled.
I don't see any SLI specific settings in the BIOS screens in the manual.
The 8 LED's grouped above the PCI-E1 slot are diagnostic LED's that work in pairs to form 4 groups. This gives you 16 combinations of LED signals that can be used to troubleshoot what stage of POST the system is hanging at. It's just a visual indicator instead of the beep codes.
Those LED Status Indicators are listed beginning on page 2-25 of the User Manual that shipped with the motherboard. Sometimes the motherboard is only on the CD in a PDF document, but you still have it available. You can also download it from the MSI website as I did.
Once you have the system working and the OS installed, there is a driver/utility for configuring the NV SLI on the installation cd as well. You will need to install this to select the Enable SLI technology setting. -
Yes, WAI. If you are granted a costume that you already have, it adds to the count for the badge but you don't get another of that costume and no text stating that it was received.

He tried, but the decay kept slowing him down.

Nah, they'll still need to test the Winter Event.

Actually, he is questioning why adding walking was important and added that he knows many players that would have rather used this time for base improvements.
The implied part of that statement is that the person who worked on adding Walk is the same one that would work on base improvements. The word "would have rather used this time" is what implies they would be the same, in case you aren't just being purposefully obtuse.
BAB answered in his usual humorous fashion, which many on the forums "get". Would you have rather he just replied "I don't care, not my job" to comments like these that are basically implying he's doing something other than his job? -

Quote:I hear some stores have dropped prices significantly on a certain other game that allows you to do this. Living in a small town in a hick backwater area, I've not seen those price reductions. It's honestly pay for the ability to skitter around on all fours. I have a monkeygal, and a few others who I'd do it with.
I'm sure if I went to Austin, Houston, San Antonio or possibly even Corpus Christi that i could find the bargain prices for said game.
I'm just not interested enough to make it worth my time. -
Quote:I'm guessing you missed seeing where BAB already commented on this. I'll bold the parts that address your post.I think the current backpedal animation is much better. I can move backwards while attacking and my character stays facing that way; I don't want to be turning around to walk-turning around to attack in a loop.
Quote:As stated in the patch note, this toggle is not intended to be used in combat. It's mainly there for people to RP in safe areas...Atlas Park, Pocket D, etc. It can certainly be used outside of those areas, but there's only a certain level of functionality that we're going to be able to accomodate for now.
Eventually, I'd like to create walk animations for the various combat modes...but that's a significant chunk of work and I don't know if we'll ever be able to get to it. If we can, then Walk could be made into a regular travel mode power...one which could work with combat as well. Which would make the issue of toggle deactivation/suppression moot. -
Just an FYI.

This afternoon (at 2:00 PM Pacific- November 5, 2009), we will be publishing a new build to the Training Room that will resolve the following Macintosh issues.
Macintosh Client
- Fixed a mouse cursor issue that affected Macintosh users who had the Intel GMA x3100 video card.
- The Enter key on the Macintosh Number keypad will no longer have the same functionality as the Return key on the keyboard.
I encourage Mac Users who were affected by the Intel GMA X3100 mouse cursor bug to download the Mac CoH Test Client, and check the fixes out.
Thanks for your patience! -
Odd thing is, when I heard rumors of getting Walk capability at HeroCon, I thought it was going to be part of the Natural SuperBooster.
Instead, BAB made it so it's freely available to everyone and people still gripe bcause something he has nothing to do with wasn't fixed. Amazing.

In general, places like Office Max, Office Depot, Radio Shack, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart are good for picking up cans of compressed air. It's been a while since I've been in a Sam's Club, so can't remember if they carried it or not.

Quote:Don't email the devs, they have nothing to do with the badges being awarded.email the devs, dude. My 6-month was a week late but the day I emailed them, it showed up that night.
File a /petition in game and/or file a support ticket on the PlayNC support website. Customer Service will fix the issue since that is their thing.
Seems one of the recent updates to the PlayNC site has borked the awarding of Veteran Rewards. -
Agreed Manoa, I am lucky in that regard.
And TA, if you hadn't just stood there with that blank look on your face I'd have stopped sooner. It was fun seeing how long it was going to take before you said anything.
