The Asus G74 is now available at Best Buy for $1249. I just ordered mine and will pick it up at 11am. The only downsides I expect are more bloatware and BB propbably loaded it with 4 2gb sticks.

EDIT: Just a head's up to people -- the resolution on this sku is 1600x900, which is actually in line with the pricing BB had for the g73 series. For me, that was a bit of a dealbreaker so I cancelled the order. The machine looked nice though. -

We didn't really have trouble, we just slowed down once I upped the difficulty rating! We were coasting so fast and furious so early on, I thought "hey, why not?"
...didn't think through and realize that would end up making us the slower of the three teams (we were two missions ahead at one point, and ended up two behind)!
Plus, no one tell Paragon or Angel that it took me an hour to remember I could player recall folks out of hot zones, and rez them in safe areas. :-/ (that cost us five of those deaths!) And, uh, I'll get a stealth build for us. This week. :-S
Speedwise, we were on par with my Synapse run last week, which ran at about 2:20 and that was on average difficulty the entire time with a more "traditional" team.

Actually I noticed the g73 has a lower max resolutionm 1600x900 vs 1920x1080 in the one you posted Hyperstrike. May have to rethink the bigger screen for the better resolution -
A lot of things I've wanted to see have been mentioned already, so I'll only suggest this.
One poster touched upon stealing customization from SWG. I would steal the TEF (temporary enemy flag) system and incorporate that into the morality system.
TEF allowed for dynamic pvp, basically when a Jedi flashed his....saber, making him a target for anyone to attack. Something similar, a pvp flag that players can opt into and out of, I think could be incorporated into CoH to expand pvp outside of the dedicated zones. -

I have read this whole thread and am still not sure if it is me or them that is causing the problem. I am able to connect to every other web site in the know universe that I try except CoH so I can only assume (that word again) that it is them.
Only had this problem for about a month and all the years before were just normal.
Apologies for not bringing anything new to the party (non techie here), but am so frustrated with this, that really I needed a sympathetic shoulder to wail on
It has taken me three days to get into this forum trying to post this! It is getting real lame, real quick!
