  2. I don't see what is so odd about a 100meg hotfix.

    I can't stand Liefield art.

Yeah he depicts supers doing super things but the way he draws the human body is so outside the bounds of form and physics that I can't stand to look at his figures standing or in motion.

I know the Beast Run is coming, but since this is an open forum I have the right to say that it looks embarrassingly bad (much like the crouch and growl animations, I guess there is a theme there huh?).

You like the look? Great, tell them so. Just like I will tell them it looks ridiculous.

So, again: Anthropid frame is not meant to move like that, and beast run looks rather poor. Yeah I am pretty much going to have to deal with that, because it's bloody unlikey that Paragon is including new models and skeletons in the beast pack.

Forum cartel back to shouting down any dissenters!

But, my lower lumbar aside, she does show that its scientifically POSSIBLE for a human body to move like that. It just doesn't gain any benefit from doing so.
Great. Make beast run look exactly like that. I am sure whe would love to provide motion capture.

It is scientific fact that the human body is not meant to move like that.

How you can even argue that is insane.

Even in a game where you can expressly increase the length on a chararacters arms, it looks like utter garbage.

In City of Heroes where you can't even increase arm length, it looks absolutely ridiculous.

The skeleton is not made to move like that.

I have no problem with animal toons, heck I play two, but unless they build a beastial skeleton (Longer spine, longer arms, shorter legs etc) the beastial run looks sloppy and slipshod.

You can "adjust" arm and leg length in Champions and it still looks like crap.
  7. If its not finished I reserve judgement, but from what is available that animation is pathetically bad. If the skeleton can't do it well, do not do it.

EDIT: The point wasn't that they worked on it, but they exemplified my point. Make it look good, or don't make it.

Earth shattering crisis averted once again! No need to thank me lowly citizen, it's what I do here.
Yeah but I have to SEE other people using it, unless you can tell me how to edit it out of the game somehow.

Make it LOOK good or don't do it at all Paragon.

I miss Sexy Jay and BaBs because they knew that while making the players happy is the right thing to do, making your game look slipshod and embarrassing wasn't the way to do it.
  9. Furry yiffing and hatred aside:

Beast run looks like absolute garbage.
Don't put that crap in my game.

Anthropoid skeletons weren't meant to move like that, and it looks like crap in Champions, and it looks like crap here in City of Heroes.

I do see people asking for "IO slotted" only runs now and then on freedom.

So you assure us that we will never see:

"raid X forming: level shift +2 only (no stalkers) PST"

Because we all know this will become the norm.
    (Maybe not the stalker part)
  12. I think what many of you forget, is that this is a videogame.

Honestly, I think NOTHING of overspending and dropping stupid amounts of inf.* to get what I want asap because:
    • ITS PLAY MONEY
    • I CAN MAKE MORE FAST
    • I HAVE MULTIPLE BILLIONS OF IT.
There is no one to leave my estate to when I die.
There is no children or spouses to take care off.
There is no social or sexual prestige for attaining large amounts of in game cash.

So I spend is carelessly and willy nilly.
  13. Why is this thread still going?

No one gives a crap about stalkers anymore.

Like them, don't like em, no one cares.

Not sure if the Devs are actively trying to encourage this form of elitism, but they are going to get it whether they wanted it or not. *shrugs*
I can see it where if you don't early adopt, you will be left out of the cold.

TF forming Levelshifted Toons (no stalkers) only!-- will become standard even if the TF needs it or not.
  16. Yeah pocket D on virtue is going to become even scarier.
  17. I just think its funny anyone could consider such a system "optional."

I can see people recruiting teams based on weather your character is level shift enabled or not.

    Stalker farming?

I have both Elec/nin (Mu) and a Spines/nin (soul) stalkers maxed out (Softcapped and permahasted).

And the spines blows through missions much faster than the elec does.

    I run at no bosses +1 x8.
  19. AS is a set mule. 6 slotted in both my stalkers for ranged defense.

I barely ever use the attack honestly.
  20. The Night Widow is prety much the Huntsman Analog.

Its just that Nightwidow is just a continuation of the training.

There is also the melee Fortunata Option, which I guess is close.
  21. Babs, now Castle.

Time to seriously think about ending my subscription.
  22. Destroyed her on my Ninjitsu stalkers.

    Placate and caltrops ftw.
  23. What exactly is the question?
