Quote:Well I'm willing to suspect that when I flick update, no picture, update, its there, input code, already gone.
In fact, I wouldn't even be mad at all if the damn thing was in the store in a day or so. Five days, though? Sorry, but thats just crap.
Its 5 days. You have waited a couple years for this, you can wait 5 days. -

Aaaaand they are gone lol.

You have to log into your respective accounts folks.
Otherwise you just see the public page. -

Quote:You hand out kryptonite to selected foes intended to provide heightened risk. You don't hand it out to everything everywhere. Giving every single DE in those tip missions +14% tohit is no different a bad design decision than giving every single Malta in tip missions sapper guns.
I havent' been following this thread totally:
I thought the buffed to-Hit was only in Raids.
This is happening in soloable content too?
Where? -
Quote:I already have a huntsman. Didn't want to do the bane thing again (its what I played leveling up.)haha..speaking about Bane, he is my strongest "Stalker" right now. He brings good burst damage, great debuffs, team buffs and decent aoe damage. He has almost everything a Stalker would love.
The Fire/EA has been amazing though. The combat stealth is such an awesome feature.
Killing 1 group 10-15 Feet away from another is awesome. -
Quote:Yeah right, a pb does many things averagely, and that is a feature of it's own.To this, I'd have added Peacebringer.*
*This post is full of snark. I do not intend to imply that a Peacebringer or a Stalker cannot participate in a Speedy LGTF. I do, however, maintain they are on par with each other for "least valuable AT for a team."
Underrated power set, I have seen some incredible PBs. -
Quote:It's a pipe dream.Make the damage they contribute to a team be worthwhile enough for people to care about it. Right now almost all Stalkers (except for outliers) do less AoE damage than any other melee -- in fact, some do no AoE damage whatsoever. They're supposed to excel in ST, but they don't do more damage than Scrappers until they're surrounded by teammates on all sides, and even then, the damage difference isn't enough to offset the fact that they have weak AoE and die easily.
If they're supposed to be ST specialists they should be really, really good at it. Right now they're only a tiny bit better than anyone else you could take, with tons of drawbacks.
I am currently in the process of dismantling my spines/nin stalker in exchange for a fire/EA brute. Just so I can still enjoy (in many ways superior) stalker like play style yet get s/tf and raid invites. Castle's stalkers are where we want them post was the final straw. The AT is dead to me. -

Mine is a Mythical Creature that has wormed his way in to embezzle as much as he can, and enjoy the fortunatas.

Well played traps is the best debuff set in the game.
Stacked acid mortor -res
Stacked seekers -dam and - to hit
Poison trap effectively shuts down regen, slows rech, holds, AND forces vomit interrupt (and can be stacked!!!!)
Caltrops to protect squishes from melee
And they provide status protection AND defense?
It always makes me die a bit inside when people pass up a traps for a rad because traps is better. -
Quote:What? You didn't live through the 70s did you :P
- Add Animal Fur option to the Flat feet section. Whoever let this out the door should probably have a talking to.

Quote:It seems to be tohit. I will be running today with my huntsman to get more details. Is that because of ACC or def debuff? (also, that's 60% def in which types/positionals? deff debuff may be sneaking through undefended directions) That's a very important consideration.
My trapper has 60% ranged, 45% to melee/aoe and at least 40% to all types and I was being hit as if I had no defense whatsoever. -
Quote:Ooh 35% defense! So for a good while I've had an Ice/Radiation Controller (code name: "Radio Iceotope"). I have a strange affection for Ice Control because, while not all that powerful, it is so unlike any power set/spell caster class I've seen in a game. My Ice/Rad has plodded through most of his life as an "average-at-best" Controller, unable to solo in any capacity until after level 45, and for all that damage he gave up, hardly the best of Controllers either.
Ice Control, I think most of us know, is a melee heavy set that requires taking a lot of chances to survive. Paradoxically, it also has a relatively fragile pet and uses too much endurance to really slot armors. Or so it used to be before Cardiacs...
With the magic of incarnate sauce, I have stumbled across a build that gives me capped Ranged defense and enough recharge to gain perma mezz protection. This build would have been unthinkable six months ago. But this is the dawn of a new age!
I'm not going to go into a whole lot of detail about what happens when a character has perma mezz protection, capped ranged defense, 2 PBAoE holds, Arctic Air, Choking Cloud, Ice Slick, a self heal, enough -Recharge to floor a group of +4 enemies, and the indecency to wear underroos into mortal combat. While I still can't kill anything quickly... this is a totally different character. My other characters have changed somewhat, but this one completely transformed.
EDIT: Best part. The build ISN'T DONE. I'm riding at 35% defense until I bother to work up the cash for the final sets.
Yeah my trapper with level shift and 60% defense was being hit at 95% chance by minions in the BAF preview.
Defense may be meaningless again soon. -
At least there is nothing worse than that right?
-
The Crouch emote should be replaced with the end pose of /e Savage.
-
Neither.
After Trying to get on teams for years with My stalkers, I no longer play them. And since I am petty, when I form teams I don't invite scrappers. -
Quote:I'm not talking about the beaks & muzzles bit so much as creative uses for the Martial Arts pack robes and padded armor bits, cyborg parts, even the mutant bits lend themselves to more creative applications than "Tiger head".
It's too bad they couldn't have done so while expanding the number of options from anyone who didn't want "Tiger Head Man". Some "bestial" clothing options, weapons, etc. Prior to the pack coming out, people talked about how it'd be cool if you could use different facial parts and stuff like that. Instead we just got some disappointingly limited premolded animal heads and a couple skin patterns.
I suppose the bright side is that they didn't include a single piece "hook" to entice me to spend money on the pack
Have you seen the Beastial Fury aura?
Its totally power armor/Iron man-esque.
Other than the breath, I can't tell you what it has to do with animals. -
Quote:Nope I am wrong, must have been the lighting but no claws appear..I was hoping earlier for a claws attack power that gave us animal claws rather than the Wolverine/Ninja ones we have now. I'm still hoping that will be added for free at some point, sooner rather than later.
But paws for hands (or paw-like hands) would've been cool. Three-fingered hands that resemble bird's feet and/or dinosaur claws would be cool, too. I was really hoping for some paws/claws/hooves for feet, though, so we could have normal legs but animal feet.
Nevermind. -
