I have a mace/shield No Budget build I haven't been particularlly happy with.
I guess I will save and hold out for Titan Weapons. -

They are ditching thier home servers in some xenophobic exodus to get away from what they percieve as the "Undesirable" FTP community.
Its the exact opposite of what loyalty means to me. -

Because my Traps/ice has 60% ranged def, 50% def to melee/Aoe, 45% to all types, Pema hasten, AND FORCE OF NATURE.
Good luck doing all that on a Corruptor. -
I am not so sure the AE Farmed recipies market crash is real...
I made 700million imfamy last night while running my level 42 (now 45) Mace/SD/(now MU) last night.
YMMV though, I had some spectacular rolls last night. -
My Elec/Earth/Mace dom is a joy.
SLE soft cap, Permahasten/domination, does excellent Single target damage and OK aoe.
I haven't had a problem with too much agro, and even if that should occur, I have PFF to fall back on! -

It doesn't have to be all glowy tech like. Just make a model and put glowing parts on it. Geeze. -

Using a lethal version of the most popular farm, I am self PLing my Mace/Shield Defense toon in order to get invader done on a couple of alts too.
In 3 days maybe 2 hours a day farming (not including the breaks to set up the relogging on the mayhem missions, and selling ticket rolls) I have gotten to level 30.
And I am no where near as fast/easy as a Fire armor on a Fire map would be. -
You can't go wrong with any of the primaries except Energy melee.
Avoid Energy melee, and you just need to pick a set that fits your playstyle.
Fire Armor will allow any primary combo to be a great all rounder, and decent to maximized farmer if you lean that way. -
One thing your SO results got me wondering:
Is a Mace/ Claws/ Elec/ DB/ Axe/ Fire better than SS/ FA for farming at SO only levels of build?
I would guess yes, as they all have more aoes they can leverage with slower recharge times. -
IMO, its all about the footstomp.
That friggin AOE is better than any other melee sets AOE suite combined. -

Where you read it as "I would love to see the OverPowered footstomp nerfed."
I don't want footstomp to get nerfed. It's SS's only damaging aoe. It doesn't deserve nerfing at all.
Rooting for Bill to take it down a peg though!
But its doubtful. Footstomp is just TOO good at that recharge, animation time and radius. -

If you find a build you like and it looks good on paper, then roll it. I just got my 8th level 50 last night. Of the 8, I can say that only one of them was done partly due to the influence of the forum and that was mostly in finding what pairs well with the primary which I wanted to try out since I was so clueless about it. Two of my next 50s will be an Ice tank, which is considered the red headed stepchild of tank armor sets these days and a Dark/stone tank, which is widely know for significant end issues. One of my favorite ATs to play right now still gets "lol stalkers" comments. Whatever. I'm having fun.
