  2. An exemplar aimed build without purples is sad.
  3. If this gets fixed before the sun explodes color me shocked.

    Proliferate everything?

No that is not how the devs think. Even though they did state in a Ustream
all future sets would be pre-proliferated: They aren't porting titan weapons to stalkers because it doesn't make sense in regard to the "subtle" stalker playstyle.

Ice WAS ported to stalkers so that means its a subtle set, and brutes are anything BUT subtle (I never heard of energy Aura LOLZ).

If you want to play ice Play it on a Stalker where it makes thematic sense.

Nothing says subtle like a guy covered in huge blocks of ice.
  5. You guys really should do an All EA--Disrupt superteam.

Put your foes into eplileptic shock!

A scrapper: 100% build up with higher base damage. You forget the Interrupt time on Assassin strike.
  7. KM stalkers get build up instead of Powersiphon.

Via thier Unique Addition of hidden/Concentrated Strike mechanic they get:

10% of Build up recharge via Normal Crit rate.
31% of Build up recharge via team Crit rate (pretty much only AV fights)
100% on demand Hidden Build up Recharge.

Its a pretty nice bonus on a high recharge build as you can maintain BU up at all times, or double stack BU for a nice Single Target or AoE spike.

Stop being so aggressive. You are only hurting your crusade by treating others with such anger.
    Which one?

Ninjitsu port to Scrappers (which we know is happening)
TW to stalkers (which isn't happening).

Honestly, I have no cause left as I rerolled my other stalkers to scrappers and only have my KM/EA left.
And that one is on the Strip/Gut list.
  9. KM is actually a 10 on Stalkers and Scrappers.

On stalkers its one of the TWO sets that has been customized for stalkre play instead of gimped, and on scrappers you should really go check the pylon results thread.

    KM is a top performer.

I am not familiar with brute and tank impressions.

God please stop repeating Synapse's garbage misdirect.
Anyone with half a brain knows that he was full of crap.
  11. Oh and FYI:

I brought it up repeatedly during Issue 21 beta.
The devs don't care about the eye gouging FX.

    Ice Brutes

Ice armor for brutes just isn't a thematic fit.
  13. Titan Weapons for stalkers.

    WOooooOOOOooooOooo Crazy stuff!

Then, I learned to play Stalkers as STALKERS, and am MUCH happier.
I dunno what was the point of that?

I thought you perhaps had some epiphany or some breakthrough where you learned a new way of playing City of Heroes.

One that didn't involve hitting stuff with your powers till they died. Because Scrappers Brutes and Tankers do that better.

My Scrappers (Kat/Regen, MA/Inv, BS/Will, Kin/EA, Spines/FA) jump into a mob and go bloodthirsty, double tapping attacks and then follow to locate, close with and destroy the enemy. There's little conscious thought or tactics with them, just maybe adjustments to leverage defenses/AoE's and then giggling over the carnage.

My Stalkers are much more active. Each spawn gets a quick glance to determine if I'm AS'ing or opening with an AoE/Heavy-hitter. I'm looking for trouble mobs, adjusting my position, timing Placate+Attacks/AoE/AS to control the battlefield and kill/defeat without overkill and/or gain an advantage. I think when playing my Stalkers. Oh, and I still giggle over an AS or Shockwave getting 10 Crits.

My Stalkers scrap, but they are much more disciplined about it. My Scrappers edge closer towards Bruting, if anything, they just don't have a Fury bar to chase.
The only thing you describe as being stalker gameplay that a scrapper can't do and do better is the controlled crits.

However, Since scrappers have superior self buffing ontop of a superior base damage, they generally do burst damage as well or better than a stalker.

Then, I learned to play Stalkers as STALKERS, and am MUCH happier.

So, now I've got a ninja (Kage Ryoushi, DM/SR), a creepy deformed dude missing a ring (a tribute character, Claws/Will), a song parody (Your Best Guy Friend, Kin/Nin), a Viking Assassin (Sverd of Cnut, BS/Ice), a riff on Hide and it's incongruities (Nudged, ??/Elec), and a PvP toon (Is Errant, EM/Regen, retired due to EM/ adjustments and PvP 2.0).

While they can scrap, none of them are Scrappers. They all stalk, and all are a blast.
Please enlighten the class on how to play a stalker.
    This should be very educational.

    Hellfire Dagger

A powerset just for stalkers is not economical.
  19. Finally here is mine.

Expensive but worth it. No hasten because you don't need it.
No disrupt becuase it makes your eyes bleed.

    There is nothing quite like Hidden-Build Up-Burst-Placate-Concentrated Strike-Build Up-Fireball.

  20. I will post mine when i get home tonight.
  21. They nerfed Caltrops?

NPC or player this change was unecessary as I rather enjoyed tackling these mobs with the danger of the layered debuff.

I hope its a bug and it will be changed back.

Tanker: Martial Arts, Super Reflexes, Street Justice, Titan Weapons
Brute: Broadsword/Katana, Regeneration, Street Justice, Titan Weapons
Scrapper: Axe, Mace, Energy Aura, Street Justice, Titan Weapon
    Stalker: Ice Armor, Street Justice

If you can't tell, Stalkers get half of anything and that's BS. Heck, if it was going to be planned not to release TW for Stalkers, they could have pooled the resources that could port *5* sets to Scraps and Brutes and at least give Stalker 1 more proliferation.

Or maybe I'm just annoyed and peeved with the laziness of the devs but they're really going to pump out an exclusive set or two for Stalkers. That would be *smart* vs the stupidity I've seen thus far and in the foreseeable future.
I just can't stress enough how important it is to port ninjitsu to scrappers.
This will end the whole stalker issue, I promise.

Is their an American Ninja Flick that they dont use Staves?

And in history Ninjas used a staff weapon alot....Mancatchers where very important for dismounting riding opponents....and to strangle the opponent not easily able to be strangled at close quarters

In addition how do you think they got to specifc high places....they used staves to vault to areas or to trip opponents.

Some ninjas in history also used the 3 sectioned staff which could be used as a staff or as a mace or whip like weapon.

If you are refering to the way the titan weapon mechanics work and that it doesnt work well with the stalker assassination strike....well go figure...neither does street justice...nor does dual blades...but they put them on stalkers anywise...
All the titan weapon set does is just another form of build up...so go figure....they are doing it with street justice and dual blades.

As for the prediction in general...well go figure....stalkers cant get everything...will i be upset stalkers dont get titan weapons....maybe a little bit...but go figure they dont get shields either.....
And if the developers allow people to wield giant weapons with a shield....thats alot worse then ninjas or assassins using a big weapon.

Also for a real world example of an Assassin using a huge weapon...Hanzo used to actualy like to slice his victims in half...with a huge waited weapon as it made sure that they where dead....of course that was centuries ago....so go figure.
My post was parody of the BS the devs used to justify why stalkers didn't get titan weapons.
