Oh I team whenever the hell I want. The problem is that I have no particular desire to team with you. or even team with most people most of the time. Occasionally? Sure, Most of the time? No.

I'm playing to relax and have fun and I don't generally have that when I'm on a team. Sometimes yes but usually I'm playing and watching TV, etc. So wanting to be able to stop and do other things from time to time.

Thats because no one was bothering to save episodes or anything back then. It is mainly a matter of luck to find a complete episode. ::Sigh:: a shame to because from the episodes of his I've seen they where good.

Oh Netflix has a bunch of old troughton episodes you can stream.

Exactly, as a test I downloaded a new full install of COX at work in just under 15 minutes using the new launcher. It actually took longer for the files to install after the download than for the download itself.

So the claim that the new launcher is slower doesn't actually stand up to real world testing. Now your internet connection could be slow and/or your computer could be but the launcher.... No.

And I'm still not seeing a problem here. You keep assuming that others are going to have a problem paying for things like weapons skins. Not true, I've always been happy to. If I don't want it I don't buy it.

As noted the SBE autolevels with you within its range. They are also bound to your account so you can trade them between characters on your account but not to other players.

Well there is the Blood of the Black Stream that was implied to be associated with shapeshifting in some way. Unfortunately we are unlikely to ever learn more about them. The person who was working on them and their lore apparently left long ago and didn't leave good notes about their plans and written up lore so the devs don't really have much more than we have to go on with them. Which means they have been shelved probably forever.

And we really don't know what kind of shifters they might have been anyway. Ah well that leaves as noted Kheldians, war wolves, Protean, and Moment as the only official shapeshifters since we never actually see any of the Blood of the Black Stream just have some hints posted long ago and a handful of in game references to them.

That said there is no reason not to have shapeshifters. There is a strong background of magic in the COH universe, science is legendary in stories for creating shifters, we have psi and there is no reason that psionic shifters can't be around either. So basically use the background you like best and just go for it.

Hmm, oh and there is a link between the Kheldians and war wolves since the war wolves are made through failed merging with a nictus.

I have a couple of shifters who use the magic background and one the science background. Mechanically it is simply different costume slots and binds with costume change emotes to switch between them.

yes, I did that this afternoon and it worked perfectly. I only had 5 slots on elude so I dropped the left over LOTG into a different power that had 2 of the regular LOTG IO's in it and it now shows having 3 LOTG's in that power.

No you don't. When it went live I had 4 tokens for tier 9 and took the signature power and the 3 costume items. And yes they are just cool. And I would have gone for the costumes first if I hadn't had 4 tokens.

Except that what would happen is that they would have to put the small team incarnate content on hold do to some massive bug they couldn't fix in time for the launch of issue 22 and it would be pushed back to a later issue and then the base update couldn't be gotten to and pushed back to oh issue 26 and then ....

Anyway the player base would be howling for blood even before Issue 22 was out of beta because it didn't match what was in the projected release plan.
