  1. I'd check out any MMO they put out. I've never found a fantasy MMO that I wanted to stick with despite the fact that that's a genre I really like.
  2. The title made me think of Ray Stevens' The Streak, but on further reflection it should have made me think of his Santa Claus is Watching You song instead.

    Something like this, perhaps...
  4. The Beast Mastery attacks grant a Pack Mentality buff, stacks of which are useful for the pets and for the power that gives a Def/Regen bonus based on the number of such buffs you have stacked. Future sets could have that sort of built-in synergy as well. This doesn't work so well with the split set-up.

If the XP rate was about 1/10 of the current rate and there was a larger and more expensive variety of XP boosters to maybe get it to half the current rate and soloing seemed nigh impossible for every character over level 10 it would seem more like most other F2P games I've tried.

I'd say it's also worth noting that when the game was game was changing over the devs insisted that it was a *hybrid* F2P model rather than purely F2P.

Still awesome. And so is the new season trailer!
I liked the 6th Doctor's coat of many colours. I wish they'd gone with the burgundy coat for number 4.
  7. Looking good. Of course, this was pretty much a must-buy for me from the first pics, but it has shaped up quite well. I've enjoyed the early previews and seeing it as it got tightened up bit by bit, too.

I'd pronounce the first part of that like "who" or "hoe". And it looks faux VooDoo to me. These are not bad things.

Ah, haven't heard that one since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I'm not a big Janis Joplin fan, so that's not one of the pre-80s songs on my internal playlist.

I immediately think of this, and was actually assuming that's pretty much what the link would go to and never clicked on it.
  11. Is this a parody of something? It's not ringin' any musical memory bells with me.
  12. So, now that we're apparently stuck with the gold names as VIPs whether we want them or not, isn't this thread useless?
  13. I like the Shining Stars. Dillo in particular amuses me, and puts me in the mind of both The Maxx and some of the aliens from Star Control II.

But overall, the writing in this game doesn't do much for me one way or the other.

I actually find that easier to read against the reddish background than the blue. Against the blue it irritates my eyes.
  15. I'd buy a high-end computer with a huge monitor or three and a 10.2 or 22.2 surround sound system. And a better internet connection. And possibly have a custom dual-analog gamepad made.

I blow my nose at you, you silly Electric-Kuhniggit. Your mother was a pikachu and your father smelled of Electrophorus.
  17. That's so crazy that I wouldn't even bother quibbling over temp powers or incarnate pets. Instead, I'll just blame all future nerfs on you. Even if someone else did it first and I didn't hear about it, it's still all your fault.

When I take Fire Melee, I tend to go the other way with it - ignoring the sword attacks altogether.

But I've often wished Fire Blast had a mouth-blast animation option for most of its attacks.

I find it hilarious. Like hatefully-resigned-to-being-happy Skeletor in the He-Man and She-Ra Christmas special.
  20. I generally find Broadcast, Team, Local, and Tells (and now League on very rare occasions) to be way more than enough to keep up with as it is. The few times I've been bullied into joining an extra channel, that channel proved to ultimately be worthless for one reason or another.

    Soap operas are generally hilarious.
  22. I may or may not be attending Gen Con this year, but I live and work in Indianapolis, so on the off chance any of you end up staying at the hotel I work at: please resist any urges to punch a churlish, bow tie-wearing night auditor.

Potentially awesome. Would really require the Mech to be customizable, though.
  24. Depending on what the new AT was, I might not be inclined to purchase it at all. But if it's something I'm interested in, and it turns out to not completely suck, I'd expect to pay anywhere between 800-1600 points for it.

Apparently for more than a century now. I personally change it up depending on where I'm using it. For instance: Alright, the Almighty is all right already.
