I don't think one issue would be enough to cover all of these sorts of fixes. And in any case, I'd rather see them fix these things in a trickle whilst putting out more stuff.

Quote:Tech is an energy spear. And why would there be spears? Spears are stabby things and blood gushing everywhere things. Staff is traditionally more whacky and arresty than killy. (And yes, that means Trident really shouldn't be there unless you rationalize that the Trident is being used to catch weapons and disarm.)

I tried it for awhile, but sifting through all the garbage available was tedious and none of the missions I played were good enough to make it worth it.
If I played arcs advertised on the forum and found them to not be good, I'd feel compelled to be critical where they were advertised, and no matter how gentle I might try to be, I'd be raining on someone's 'hey I just made this awesome mission' parade.
Ultimately, the only reason I'd have to play missions on AE would be to complete some lengthy and tedious character-build goal that required me to accrue components and/or recipes with tickets (or generate funds with such items). Since that's not something I do, I just avoid playing there (unless a random team invite just happens to be for an AE team, but that's been an almost non-existent occurrence for quite some time).
As for making missions: to do it right takes too much tedious effort. -

Quote:I concur with this. Right down to not playing competitive sports. Indeed, I prefer to avoid direct competition as much as possible. It takes a certain amount of meanness to mercilessly defeat an opponent, and I generally just don't have it in me to do so, much less to enjoy it.Done! I don't play any sport. I haven't played any sport since I broke my right arm playing soccer, what... 15 years ago? Ain't missed it for a second.
I don't like competitive environments that pit me against other people, it's as simple as that. A PvE game can control the experience. It can make sure I have fun at the expense of the NPCs, because NPCs have no feelings and no-one cares about how much they're enjoying themselves. It's OK to hurt them as long as we're having fun, and PvE content does just that. Is it fair that I can Assassin's Strike a boss and remain hidden thanks to that Stalker AT Set I was given? Of course not. If that boss had feelings, I'm sure he'd be fuming, but he doesn't so he isn't. The game lets me get away with it because, meh. It's just NPCs. They don't have feelings.
No game will ever do that in PvP. No game should. Besides, other people don't care about how much fun I'm having. They aren't trying to come together to give me a good time. On the contrary, they're there for themselves, they're there for their own fun, and if killing me repeatedly happens to be that fun, then they'll do it. Of course they will. The PvP game is "uncontrolled," so it can't guarantee that I'll have fun playing it. And I only need a few play sessions that piss me off before I choose to never come back.
Some say that fighting other people is the ultimate challenge because people are smart and don't fall for the same easy traps. I say that fighting other people is the ultimate boredom because other people fight cheap, unfair and don't let me win. I don't want that. -
I get no joy out of beating people, and I certainly get no joy out of being beaten by them.

Ah, you want the Paragon Market/Rewards ones as well....

Indeed. If I'm watching SyFy these days, it's usually to see Eureka or Warehouse 13.

When I came back after a brief sojourn, I was neither weeping nor repentant. I was disappointed that this was unfortunately about as good a superhero game as I'm likely to get, and that I'd have to settle for it or nothing at all.

A Mitochondria. Though I'd want to colour it grey. So I could make one of my PnP characters - The Grey Amoeba. Let's see, it's been nearly 20 years, how did it go?...
In dankest pit, in blackest grime
No evil can escape my rhyme
Let those who would commit a crime
Beware the Grey Amoeba's slime! -
Logic merely allows one to be wrong with authority...
Of the two movies, I'm looking forward to Avengers more simply because I can't be hopeful about what I've seen of the Batman movie thus far. -
I'd like it if they could just have it make a character glossy (perhaps even a tintable gloss) along with the various frost/flake/drip effects already in place.

The only thing that sounded good about it was the pretzel bread bun. Give me a regular chili cheese dog in a pretzel bread bun and I'd be in heaven.

I just caught it on one of those other Nick channels since I missed it this morning. An excellent episode.

In my experience, they ought to be kidding. There's been a couple of times in the past I've put in a 500 inf bid for common salvage and come back that few weeks later and it's still sitting there. It's one of a number of reasons I generally don't like to bother with the market any more other than to dump quick-selling salvage and the occasional recipe.
I used to get basic IOs there, but the supply of those is no longer as steady so I can't rely on them to be there when I need them. And crafting is more annoying than replacing SOs, so more and more I find myself just sticking with the SOs.
