A friend and I made a chili cheese corndog pizza. With beanless chili for the sauce, cheddar cheese, and corn dog slices. It was awesome. And even better the second time we made one. If that particular friend wasn't involved, I probably would've added onions.

  4. It's like squares are trying to be circles...
  5. They need to put some chili and bacon on those cheeseburgers. And offer corn dog slices as a topping.
  6. When I briefly played... Warhammer Online I think it was... there were areas with missions that affected the zone/war without being direct PvP. Which is something I don't mind doing. In LotRO I would occasionally go into the PvP zone and do missions while avoiding direct conflict - mainly because I was interested in playing some of the available beasties.

Which is to say that, if there were a zone where I could contribute to a zone-altering PVP effort and be assured of not getting directly involved in PVP, I might be up for it.
  7. If they put the upcoming Retro Sci-Fi costume solely in the Super Packs I'd be tempted to rage quit.
  8. My favourite character used to be my FF/Rad Defender. But I haven't played him much since he hit 50.

In any case, none of the AT/powersets I've played have seemed "uber" to me. But I've never really gotten a Dominator to a significant level.

No, it's the fantasy RPG genre. It just happens that many of the conventions of that genre got grandfathered into MMOs, the bulk of which seem to be fantasy to this day.

I dub this episode "Fridge for a Day"...

I might've tuned in for Herman's Head. I totally forgot about that series. I would've tuned in if they had showed the original Simpsons shorts back to back, too - they were the main reason I watched the Tracy Ullman show.

So basically when people like Samuel_Tow complain that they can't get such-n-such item until they craft it or level their character up to a certain level I really have almost 0% sympathy for that.
Having been in the former situation would give me 100% sympathy for the latter. Your heart is three sizes too small.

That's the generic fantasy RPG genre you're thinking of. In the superhero genre it's more typical to start out with full regalia.

Yeah, that kinda sucked. They telegraphed it early on, but it was still mean.

Asteroid mining will be important to us someday - we simply have like 20 or 30 other things we need to accomplish first before we worry about collecting extraterrestrial raw materials on an industrial level.
Acquiring those materials could be seen as creating a space carrot of motivation.

Given their statements thus far, they're not currently making enough money to justify the localisation efforts. Which means that loss of money you speak of already isn't significant enough to consider. It's unfortunate, but it appears to be a duly considered business decision, rather than an arbitrary one.

It's not about instant gratification so much as the principle of character concept/creation. I design my character at the start. Options that are not available during that process are worthless to me. If they were account-wide unlocks I wouldn't mind having to "chase" them, as they could prove useful to new characters.

I'm perfectly fine with the simultaneous existence of both "average" and "outlier" sets. Whether they're free or paid-for.

They could make it a one power purchasable-in-the-market power pool as long as it's something I can slot.
  22. I'd have to say Staff. The Endurance discount should be very helpful.
