A human with shark features is a man that's also a shark. A humanoid shark is a shark that's also a man. Both can be artistic. Either can be seen as rather generic. Personality and story can go a long way to set either apart. It's what keeps a bland troll girl from just being a generic She-Hulk knockoff with a sword, after all.

A couple of my favourite characters from over the years are a beholder mage and a roughly 4' diameter amoeboid. 'Monstrous' is often the first thing I look for in a character. The only necessary difference between PC and NPC to me is which side of the screen I happen to be on.

See, what I read there was "but to me this doesn't look so much like a character as it does a character"... which just left me confused.

Yeah, I've been there before. And just the other day I was wishing there was a bikini bottom that wasn't quite so narrow, too. (EDIT: Though, perhaps at that point it technically wouldn't be a "bikini" bottom. I wanted something between the bikini and the shorts options.)

In any case, if it *is* a min/max option and there's no equivalent APP option then what we really keep coming back to is villains and heroes having unequal access to it.

Do they have rotating ads on the site? If so, it could be one ad in the rotation, which you were lucky enough not to get.

Any other mission isn't the same as the alignment changing missions. Time and effort wasted on an endeavor you wouldn't otherwise be doing is still time and effort wasted regardless of whether XP was gained.

You're not 'taking powers from villains' any more than villains who take APPs (which, as I recall, they didn't initially have access to until people griped) are 'taking powers from heroes'. PPPs are merely an alternate set of APPs that happen to have been unfortunately tied to running a set of missions. But if I did have to *take* them from villains, my answer to "why?" would be: Souvenir!

This is not a problem, it's a common theme (which is: More Options!) between any number of suggestions made. From customizing pool powers, to suggesting new powersets, to requesting certain powersets be proliferated.

Personally, I'm usually looking for the ability to summon sharks or water tornadoes. Oh, Concept, you hilarious red-headed stepchild!
