  1. Congratulations to Black Pebble on moving yet another year closer to their inevitable demise.

If only he had been paired with an ape at the end, it would've been hilarious and certainly an indication that it was Alfred's imagination.

Unless they have means other than the directly physical to use, as many heroes/villains do.

  6. I know I've seen a couple of episodes of it, however, I think it's mixing with another anime or two in my head. There's an anime with a guy who loses his memory and has a cell phone that he receives mysterious instructions through and which also allows him access to nigh unlimited funds. There's one with a guy who sees something outside of the White House and gets caught up in some strange plot. And then there's one where a guy wakes up in a room with no memory, there are a bunch of other people in a similar situation, and one of them has ears that pull away from his head to reveal a bizarre compartment that may have had guns in it. And all of that is jumbled in my brain, evoked by this "Phantom" anime for some reason, though I'm pretty sure those memories involve at least two different anime.

Indeed. All it takes is two easter eggs, a gigabyte of flour, a tablet of binary soda, two packets (in case of loss) of Yeast++, a cup of sugar, and a thermos of caffeinated beverage. Compile ingredients. Knead sleep. Let arise. Punch QA. Bake at 360 degrees until dizzy. And when all else fails: push muffin button.
  8. I missed the first 15-20 minutes and perhaps due to that I'm uncertain why Claudia ran off at the end?

"Knightfall" was a very long way from the best written Batman stories.
If he was an oaf he wouldn't have had a Xanatos gambit. Wrestler mask is better than steampunk-facehugger-makin-sweet-love-to-his-face. Stupid accent is better than acid-gargling-distortion.

I mean, "Bare Feet" is just one of zillions of options for human feet, but it's the only option for monstrous feet.
Of course, the same could be (and possibly has been) said for monstrous heads as well.
  11. I usually take Taunt on my Tankers. I'd almost never take Confront unless I was out of other palatable power choices at a given level.

I prefer that version to the Ubu-in-a-Proto-Vader-mask that we got. And the DCAU and Arkham City versions above that.
  14. I'd like to see briefs/tights as a Shorts/Skirts option (like the Briefs pattern, but an actual object rather than just painted on).
  15. Was there a trailer somewhere amidst the blurred images and audience hooting?

I haven't given Night Ward a try yet, so that may help.
I tend to avoid redside because I can rarely make it to the 20s, much less through them. I'm skirting the edge with a SoA right now, which I've been intermittently trying to get to the level to unlock the advanced powers and shift to blueside for quite some time.

Exactly so. I dislike consumables in general for reasons in that vein, and if I'm going to need them it'd better be a once-in-a-while thing. Having to depend on them is failure for fun and character.
  18. The percentages are listed under the Combo Levels in Mids when you activate one of the forms.

Form of the Mind: 4%/9%/15% Recharge
Form of the Soul: 6.6%/16.5%/33% Endurance Discount
Form of the Body: 5%/11.25%/18.75% Damage

I didn't think we were seriously nerd-raging. I, at least, was chuckling with every post and reply on the subject. Absurd pseudo science amuses me.

And I didn't get obliterated with a cry of "Hyper Hyperstrike!", so I have to assume Hyperstrike wasn't seriously raging, either.

Normally, you might not, but then, normally, based on what you've said, the process isn't efficient enough to be the potential source of free energy it was purported to be in the story. Could be that the secret is to lace the thing with Nuke-ya-lar Kryptonite and depleted Tapioca.

Disrupting a fusion reaction causes the reaction to collapse (means things stop fusing). You're not protecting the world from a fusion reaction. You're protecting the fusion reaction from exterior contamination. And if the reaction hits the walls of the containment vessel? You get the introduction of heavier elements which in the containment vessel walls that kills the process.
If the containment breaks down, it seems to me that there's a potential for the energy particles given off by the fusion reaction to cause a fission reaction to occur. As I recall, isn't that the basic premise behind some nuclear bombs?
