Ditto. Until Spines gets proliferated I probably won't bother with Bio Armor.

With all these changes, I kind of feel sorry for the people in charge of Mids'... -
Putting aside that "intensity" could, in fact, involve variance of the power FX animations, I can think of three different basic poses/animations off the top of my head (the slightly-bent-forward pose which Cyclops is using in the animated gif, a more upright version of that, and a turned-to-the-side type pose) for firing blasts from the facial region. Variations of which (along with the aforementioned variance in "intensity") could make for an entire sets' worth, easily. But I'd happily settle for just one animation. If there were a single alternate animation for existing blast sets which I could select for most attacks that allowed me to face-blast, I might make a character with just those attacks.
Personally, though, what I'd really like is a non-weapon-oriented beam set - whether it's hand or eye oriented. -
That sounds familiar to me, though I'd've said it was an episode of The Outer Limits or something...

Reminds me of Blade Runner, that one Nazi from the Hellboy movie, and Project Zeta. Looks pretty interesting.

Fun episode. It more than made up for the previous episode which gave far too much praise to Star Trek IV. My only complaint is that the episode needed a Snowflame bit tacked on to the end.

Personally, I've always thought that you shouldn't be able to use the LFG feature when you're not, in fact, LFG (if you already have a full team, that's a Group and you're no longer Looking For one).

I actually liked III, though the part where the computer assimilates the bad guys creeped me out. I'd rather watch the Supergirl movie than Superman IV.

It will allow us to terraform a planet and grow ourselves a brand new Statesman.

If I were on a computer with audio, I could look it up, but as it stands I have to confess that I am completely unfamiliar with the tune despite counting Queen among my favourite bands.

I hated the first three X-Men movies. The Wolverine movie was even worse (though the game was surprisingly fun). I haven't seen First Class, yet, though everything I've seen and heard about it makes me think I'll probably dislike it as well. I have little faith that they'll make a decent Days of Future Past movie.

Quote:I enjoyed The Hobbit, but I've reread The Lord of the Rings far more often. I read the entire series when I was 9 or 10, and I reread The Lord of the Rings at least once per year after that up until I was about 20. The only other book I've read nearly that much is Watership Down.Hate the Hobbit?
I found the Hobbit to be a much more enjoyable read than the LotR.
I can see why someone might enjoy The Hobbit more. It has a somewhat more expedient pace while being a bit lighter on the details. I find it to be a bit too light to *completely* satisfy me. It left me wanting more details about dragons in the setting, as well as the details on what went on with 'the Necromancer'. The Lord of the Rings struck just the right balance for me. Silmarillion, though, was too much and too dryly put - I tried and failed to read it several times over the years before finally finding the patience and diligence to finish it in my 30s. -
I was watching this for a bit, but I lost steam somewhere in the 20s and haven't gone back. I have trouble going back to an anime after I lose viewing momentum, but I keep seeing it in my queue and telling myself that I should finish watching it.

Quote:Indeed, that particular moment is what I was going to mention. I didn't pick up on it as a kid, but every time I see it now the change from Clark Kent to Superman there without any need for the costume really strikes me. It's a remarkable duality. Routh tried it, but didn't pull it off nearly as well.In terms of performance, go back and watch the original movie where just after being interviewed by Lois, he for a moment considers telling her he's Superman, and you notice the incredible change in body posture, stance, voice...he's clearly thought about the seperation of personas and how to play them. A lot of the other actors in this role have never even considered the performance of the secret identity and the hero persona, but he did the first time.

Wowzer... I can't decide if I'll be making a new character or rerolling an existing character for this.
