It does diminish in value as you go up the reward tiers (and thus unlock free access to certain things with or without subscription), I'd say. I've pondered letting my subscription lapse given the number of slots I've purchased and that I'm Tier 9. If not for the dangling carrot of the VIP costumes, I probably would've let it lapse since I don't care much for the Incarnate system.

Indeed. Listing it as worth one drink is a slap in the face to "Slap in the Face".

That's true: it is fail. The extent of the failure vis-a-vis the playability of the game is wholly subjective, but it is an inarguable fact that the game has failed in respect to allowing you to properly create and play that particular character concept.

An amusing thought, but given that the Amazons seem to have more than their fair share of magic weapons it's quite likely that they could injure Superman. Unless the new 52 has gotten rid of that hole in his invulnerability.

In my experience, gangs are often multi-racial but the minorities (minority in relation to the gang make-up) endeavor to blend in.

The one naturally coincides with the other.
  7. My experience with AVs has led me to expect them to obliterate me regardless of what defenses I'm packing without the need for them to have any clever powers up their sleeve. I've been up to my eyeballs in Luck and got walloped near instantly. Heck, my Dark/Dark Corruptor got that kind of treatment from a -1 EB Lord Recluse with Dark's debuffs and some Lucks - I ended up hover-sniping him to death. Such challenges don't excite me, and after having some difficulties here and there in prior SSA missions I've pretty much resolved myself to only playing them with my high level Tanks. Hopefully Mako won't be so annoying at EB level.

They often get knockup resistance, too, so we may not have to worry about a super-powered child...

I love Frazetta's work. But his Conan doesn't really look much like Arnold from what I've seen.

In the two other superhero games I've tried, I found there was a distinct lack of 'tankiness' in anything they offered and not enough 'maginess' to make up for it. In short, my characters in those games managed to feel less powerful to me than they do here, and I find the character power level here to feel rather anemic as-is.
  16. I'm only familiar with the series at all because Linkara mentioned it in a bit of detail. If it got put up on Netflix streaming, I'd queue it up. I'll certainly give a remake a chance.
  17. Maybe they'll have a son and make Batman the godfather, just like in Kingdom Come...

I would love that. Particularly if it could be targeted on both friendlies and hostiles.

I think the only pictures of Elmore's I've seen over the years that I liked were from The Complete Dwarves Handbook. Other than that, I've found his work to be bland, not remarkably well-painted, and often oddly-proportioned. I'd say he's not nearly as bad as Liefeld, but he comes up in fantasy art discussions about as often as Liefeld comes up in comic book art discussions and thus I've been similarly critical of him by dint of opportunity.

If we take it as given that people generally understand that the AoE heals exist and include the user in the AoE, then being able to target one's self with an existing additional non-AoE healing power at 50% of its normal strength isn't covered by having the already existing AoE heal which happens to be 50% of the existing single target heal's strength.
