Quote:Yes, that's a bug. Sometimes it's possible that the server kind of forgets that the pets are associated with you, causing them to no longer follow your orders, including even the "dismiss" order. You still can't summon new pets, though. Some hours ago, I was playing a character I have on the Justice Server, named Bloody Leather. Bloody Leather is a Mastermind with Mercenaries. The possible bug I saw, has to do with the fact, that, after I had dismissed the Mercenaries, they stayed active! Why would that happen?
One way to solve this is to do a "hard" dismissal by typing the command "/release_pets". This will kill all of your pets (interestingly, they don't even get their death animations) and reset your pet list.
If you found a way to reproduce the bug consistently, the developers might be interested in hearing about it.

Quote:What is my best judgement? The first Cryonic? For starters, Gale is a great opening power [...]. Immediately after this (or sometimes as your first action, use your best judgement) you should Team Teleport [...].
Quote:If you have any questions about this guide, feel free to ask and I will do my best to update the FAQ Section on a regular basis. You shouldn't have any questions about a build this perfect and a guide this well written though, and you may need to feel ashamed for even asking one.

Quote:Unlike Galaxy City, Dark Astoria won't be removed from the game, though. I'd prefer having quick access to the new incarnate zone, rather than just being able to visit the zone's former version's echo.Looks like Issue 22 will bring us Echo of Dark Astoria. If the beacon works the same way you could have one telepad got to both echoes, restoring the number of beacons to even.

No, I wasn't talking about Numina, this was merely a regular NPC, not a signature hero. It was something about Going Rogue, I believe... Now that I remember that, I should ask Google again.
Found it: This contest is what I was talking about.
I would have liked to see some of the submissions, but the only response I got from the partner website was "you didn't win"...

Hi, everybody,
I just remembered that, a good year ago, there was a contest where several website communities had offline costume contests, with the winning costume of each contest being sent to Paragon Studios. Paragon Studios was then supposed to pick the costume they liked best and put it into the game as an NPC.
I never heard about the results. Did they ever show us the winning costumes, or did that NPC already enter the game?

This happens only when the in-game moon is in the thirteenth house and the mission door is facing away from it.
Alternatively, the data was fixed.

Quote:Actually, that's not true. For your averaged end/s gain, the proc is better than a lv. 50 endmod IO even in the first slot.Honestly, the first two slots give better results from EndMod IOs. The third slot is usually the best place to drop a +End proc.
Quote:According to Mids, the +End proc delivers, on average, more End recovery than a lvl 50 EndMod IO.

Quote:It should work, for the full intended duration of eight hours. (We aren't allowed to stay logged in any longer because the boards use the same credentials as the game servers.)Any word on when they are going to fix the forums? I check the stay logged in box and it never works.

My badge hunter is a MA/SR scrapper who basically has all available badges in the game. (I'm still missing a few TPN badges and don't have Passport or Bug Hunter, but that's about it.)

Quote:Strictly speaking, that's true. However, there are two slightly different versions of the Ouroboros zone. Heroes and vigilantes have their own Ouroboros instance, and the echo of Galaxy City can only be accessed from there. Villains and rogues use a different Ouroboros (with different missions inside the pillars of fire and ice, different zone destinations at the exit, and no echo of Galaxy City). To my knowledge, the echo of GC isn't gated in any way, including by alignment.
So no, villains and rogues cannot visit Galaxy City's echo.

Sure. You just need to ask the launcher nicely. (Allow multiple launches via options.)

Most NPCs (including pets) do not have any toggles, they only have "click" powers. Maybe the Polar Lights' version of Assault is a clickie that works for a couple of seconds and then has to be refreshed?

Congratulations to all who got the badges they needed. And don't worry about Regenerate This, it's not the most difficult badge in this trial.

Really, now. There are only two advantages to this. One is that you can buy them at an earlier level and don't need to worry about upgrading them later. But, since you won't have all your slots at earlier levels, there would still be a need to work on your enhancements as you level up. So, basically it's just about saving a few clicks and some inf. That can't be the main reason people wish for this.
The second advantage is keeping the set bonuses when you exemplar down. But when you exemplar down, you are supposed to be weaker. Why are you so focused on keeping the set bonuses when you exemplar? Why do you believe that you should be so much more powerful than charas who are naturally at the level you exemplared down to?
Would you prefer that the game kept track of which slot you gained at what level, and took the slots away that were granted at a higher level than your current combat level? If you ask me, we should be happy the game works the way it does.

No, you aren't required to do so. They start on defensive, not passive, so they will still counterattack anything that attacks them or you. Ordering them to go aggressive just makes them attack first. Usually you don't need this featuzre, unless you want them to attack gray enemies. (And even then I'd recommend using the "attack my target" command instead, because that way you can't forget to switch back to defensive, possibly causing an unintentional pull later.)

We did the TPN today on Zukunft (with the "all players into the building" / "ignore the telepathists" strategy), and it went well with no crash at all.

Now, this was a very successful attempt. We managed to spawn Caleb and found him quickly enough to defeat him before the night was over. Thanks to everybody who helped, and congratulations to those who still needed the badge!

I'll see you in an hour or so.
