I'll sign up with my lvl 28 Fire/Rad troller Brightfire.
-
Sounds good. We wont get taxed on each trade either....We wont, right?
-
You'd have more luck if you did this when everyone isn't at work/school.
-
I'm gonna have to see what my connection is like tonight. Last night was damn terrible, disconnecting every 10 minutes or so.

Bear in mind we'll be fighting 15s and 16s on the TF.
Thats assuming we set it to heroic too.
[/ QUOTE ]
The TF range is 10-15 and we will only fight 15-16 if anyone in team is lvl 14-15, oooh anyway, sorry to ramble, what I meant is to take everyone into lvl to be able to actually do the TF
[/ QUOTE ]
Nope. TFs always spawn mobs at their highest level. -

I'll turn out my pockets tonight. :P
Oh, and I can do positron potentially any day except saturdays. -
Gah, so many good powers.
Is that a good or a bad thing? -

Heya, I am sorry I couldn't make for the TF, 8:00 BST is too late for me unless we start at that time sharp, and being only 5 of us on the required lvl it didn't seem too likely. Anyway, Villarreal 2, Barcelona 0 and I was there witnessing the event, so it wasn't that bad.
As per last night team, I feel that fitness may be required. Besides, after doing the math, if we stack 8 maneuvers, which if I am not wrong is 3.125% def for a defender, we will have a 25% defence plus if we also get Combat Jumping, we get an additional 3% so we can end unp with about 28% which is almost a /SR scrapper defense
I decided to post the build I am planning to use for Achoo here so you can, first give me advice and second, see which powers I get in case you want to choose others to complement or same to stack with

Nice, but your epic power pool is off. You need two Power Mastery powers before you can grab total focus. Personally I'm going:
41 - Power Build Up (gonna be so awesome with all the debuffs)
44 - Conserve Power
47 - Total Focus -

Can't resist any longer....will have to use my 1 remaining slot on defiant for a TA/A defender. Now that we are global friends Aero, will send you a PM when on next, so that can be added to the goup and hide in the forest too....!
Any particulars that are a must....or can my archer be 3ft high.... Anyone got any ideas on a name?
[/ QUOTE ]
3ft high? 'Little Ron' maybe? -
Wait....if we all lay down oil slicks in one place and ignite one...wont its fire damage automatically ignite the others?
-
[ QUOTE ]
I can't believe y'all skipped Rez Arrow and healing Arrow!
Heh, on a more serious note, I think the only build restriction apart from TA/A is getting assault at 6. Will be lovely stacked.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, I'll have to pick up Healing Arrow at lvl 8, as I took Assault at lvl 6
That Archery blaster (lol) we saw was funny too. -
Just confirming that my defender (Atomkin) will definatly be ready for thursday. And, as long as everyone sticks together, I should be able to keep you all alive.
-
We had a fair range of costumes last night. Some went for a traditional Robin Hood look, while others (like me) went for a techno look.
Also last night was so much fun, arrows were flying everywhere. Even though we faceplanted a few times, no one seemed to care. -
Got to lvl 22 last night. Hopefully get 23 tonight and 24 tomorrow.
-
If my Kin/Rad defender is lvl 24 by thursday (21 at the moment) then count me in.

Been meaning to write up something like this, and as I have nothing to do at work...

Ahhh, a man from my own heart! But you managed to write all this at work!? You must do half a ton less work than me when I'm at the office!
Still very interesting reading, I enjoyed the idea... [ QUOTE ]
As for Redman himself, without his armour he has no superhuman powers and is known by those close to him to be slightly crazy.

...I like to think there's a little bit of crazy in all of us.

I'm very busy in the mornings (honest) but later on there's not much to do. Helps that I have my own office away from everyone else. -

X-99:

Epic: Munitions Mastery

Place of Birth: London, England
Height: 6ft.
Weight: 144lbs
Hair: Grey

Marital Status: Single
Current Residence: Supergroup Base
Occupation: Fulltime hero, ex-lab technician
Identity: Public
Powers:
X-99HBPBS Armoured suit: The suit of powered armour that became Redmans hero name, it is an advanced piece technology. Capable of defying gravity, travelling at incredible speeds (clocked at close to mach 3 in level flight), making itself invisible and equipped with a telepathic AI system that allows the armour to respond to the pilots nervous signals and move in unison with his body. The armour houses various weapons, an all purpose assault weapon is attached to the right arm for ranged combat, and the left arm can materialise mines, caltrops and web grenades. It also floods the pilots body with performance enhancing drugs that can keep a human awake, alert and in top form for days on end (though the side effects are severe).
Limitations:
All of X-99s weapons carry a limited amount of ammunition, and every so often he must stop to allow the armour to reload them. It teleports in new ammo from various hidden storage sites scattered around the city and stores it in compartments that can reduce objects to around 1/10,000th of their original size.
As for Redman himself, without his armour he has no superhuman powers and is known by those close to him to be slightly crazy.
Talents:
Currently inactive, Redman has spent his time studying robotics, cybernetics, marksmanship, engineering and unarmed combat.
Nemesis:
The Crey Corporation, X-101C (another, similar armoured suit currently being piloted by a villain).
Contacts:
His brother, Henry Redman (aka X-100T), Paladin X (his counterpart from an alternate dimension), Thorn X (his pupil), Armoured Legion members.
Biography:
Beginnings
The armoured suit 'X-99' was discovered inside an ancient alien ship that had crashed to earth thousands of years ago. Although badly damaged it was repaired using earth and Rikti technology by Crey. The suit's intelligent computer refused to allow anyone to pilot it, until Crey allowed the suit to choose its own pilot. It chose a low paid lab technician at one of Crey's facilities, who was immediately brought before the suit at gunpoint.
The technician, William Redman immediately turned on Crey when he donned the armour. He was heard ranting and raving about various conspiracy theories involving Crey and the poor conditions he and his colleagues had to endure as he gunned down every soldier in the facility. Redman then escaped with the suit and disappeared into Paragon.
In retaliation for this theft, Crey kidnapped all of Redman's former colleagues and threatened to kill them unless he handed over X-99. Not one hour later Redman arrived wearing X-99. He refused to hand over the suit, and instead freed his colleagues and helped them escape.
Criticism
Soon after, Redman registered as an official hero under the name 'X-99'. He spent his time busting Hellions and Outcasts, finding X-99's capabilities to be far beyond what he had initially thought. It was during this time that Crey carefully placed evidence about the soldiers that he had killed. They also bribed a number of Redman's former colleagues to say that their lives had been endangered pointlessly and that the battle could have been avoided if Redman had simply handed X-99 over.
Court
All this led to a massive court battle between Redman/X-99 and Crey. Crey demanded the return of their property, while Redman demanded Crey be brought to account for their various crimes. The battle raged for months, going back and forth between Redman and Crey. Finally, the jury decided that based on the security camera footage presented as evidence, it was clear that Redman had acted in self defence when he killed Crey's soldiers, as he had not opened fire first. Redman (who defended himself) also managed to convince the court that it was Crey that had kidnapped his former colleagues, and not a rogue group as Crey would have them believe. The court found in favour of Redman, and allowed him to return to hero duties. They fined Crey several million dollars and several key members of the company found themselves in prison. They also cautioned Redman however, and reminded him that deadly force should be used only in extreme circumstances. Additionally, in a landmark ruling the court decided that as an intelligent entity, the X-99 armour could choose if it wanted to return to Crey or stay with Redman. The AI chose the latter, stating that the choice was clear, as its primary objective was to aid someone called Blacksmith, and that failing this; it was to Help the forces of good and fight evil.
Hero
Redman's Hero career continued to prosper, as he grew in piloting skill, the suit allowed him to access more and more complex systems. Though many times he came close to defeat, he never gave up hope and somehow always managed to come through in the end. Kids would ask him for his autograph and various companies and television networks were constantly approaching him with deals and offers. X-99 spent much time working with the Portal Corporation, keeping earth safe from extra-dimensional threats. However, his failing health forced him to retire from active service. His last official mission was reported to be in the Shadow Shards.
Addiction
Redman retired due to his increasingly frequent delusional states. He was plagued by headaches, vomiting and general ill health. Eventually the cause was found to be the X-99 armour itself. Redman discovered that it fed the pilot a variety of unknown drugs, in order to boost performance. He had used the suit so much that his body had become dependant on these drugs. Further investigation revealed that the suit had a built in warning function to inform the pilot to decrease usage, but that Crey had removed this system.
Today
Currently, Redman is weaning himself off the suit's drugs. He still needs to spend about an hour a day wearing the suit to avoid falling ill, but this is decreasing as the weeks and months go by. As a side effect, he has noticed that his physical and mental condition is improving greatly. He is stronger and fitter than he ever was, and his IQ is now rumoured to be 150+ (up from 120 previously). He is now attempting to fix X-99's design flaws.
Additionally, he has worked helping other heroes to be the best they can be, and recently one of his pupils (and a long term fan) decided to name himself 'Thorn X' in honour of his patron and mentor. -
AR is a good set waiting to happen, it just suffers from not having aim, dealing mostly lethal damage and having monsterous animation times. IMO The fact that its often paired with devices for themeatic reasons (leaving you with no aim OR build up) leads to the whole 'AR sucks' thing. I always felt that it was devices that was letting me down on my AR/Dev. Oh, and waiting 9.5 seconds to use 2 powers.

I'll be bringing my troller Illusory as before. Cya there.
(YAY, I can post again!) -
I'll join you with my Illusion/Storm troller, he's lvl 33 at the moment.
-
Said it before and I'll say it again: Gratz mate.

I'd like to bring my Ill/storm troller Illusory (currently lvl30)
