  1. My Mind/Energy solos pretty well, before even having SOs/Stamina. I even find it better for solo than teams since *some people* can't work with sleeps.

    Single bosses should be easy with domination, as for two... I'd try immobilizing one and pulling the other. I think single target immobilizes may be underrated. Quick recharge, long duration, and you can use it to break line of sight with a boss while you kill the minions. They even do ok damage, if you needed an extra attack.
  2. I've been following this thread, and I think the best ideas so far are giving -Res to PB attacks, and/or adding one power to each Kheldian that provides force multiplication.

    A straight damage buff would be nice in all cases, but I don't think it'd be right to apply that to just one of the two HEATs.

    Human mez protection would be great to have, but I have to agree an Eclipse nerf in exchange for that would be terrible. From what I know of game balance, the Eclipse nerf to balance out human mez protection would have to be major. And that would be a "Lex Luthor stole forty cakes" terrible.
  3. Since we're examining HumanShade builds, here's what I'm considering respeccing to.

    I originally built for ranged defense on a reasonable budget, which is why I have no purples/perma-Eclipse. Messing with Mid's today I bumped it up to softcap ranged defense and 34.4% AoE defense, at the expense of Aid Self, Resuscitate, and Stygian Return. I don't expect to be able to afford a high-recharge build anytime soon, but I already have most the sets for this.

    High population servers have too many idiots. Maybe I haven't been on as many PUGs as I'd get on Freedom, but I also don't have any PUG horror stories or PM conversations with complete jerks like you hear about on the forums.

    I'd like to see more villain teams, but not if it means teaming with people who don't understand that villain ATs do NOT play like heroes. It's bad enough for a Defender to play a "heelor" build, but a Corruptor? Just kill me now.

    PvP? I find it sucks anyways right now. Melees can still get kited like mad, defense still isn't that good, and mez? What happened there, anyways? Holds are reduced to four second durations BEFORE resistance? And travel suppression kills the uniqueness of this game's PvP. Combined with the unnecessarily rude people in PvP zones, the whole thing seems dumb.

    The pro-server merge argument always seems to assume that having a higher population is absolutely a good thing. But frankly, I'd rather solo than team with some fools who don't know how to play.
