I like. I like a lot. It always bugged me how 'meh' end drain was for PCs as compared to the crippling NPC counter-powers. /signed

You're a fool, Birdy.
Deep down, Omy is secretly a willing vessel of the Chaos Gods, fully given in to his inner voices and depravitiesHe just gets a kick out of fooling us all.

((Maybe I am too, despite being cheerful today. Because I approve of this thread
))

Agreed to the OP. Thorn Wielders should be high level, LT class foes that swap ranged attacks and mez out for resistance and melee hitting power.

And something other than someone mashing Random for costume...

Quote:Aside from E (coloured titles is a 'vet' reward and also, who's to say the player HASN'T played those sets before? The game can't track that)...that's not actually a bad idea. Although I still don't see the Devs altering their stance on it.As someone who has a high level of altitis I've never been a proponent of this idea, nor am I one yet. I've re-rolled toons that were into their mid 30s when I decided I just wasn't happy with the powerset choise I'd originally made. But, I was thinking about it earlier and came up with an idea.
A. Each Character can only get ONE lifetime full respec. Make the wrong powerset choice? To bad, so sad, you lose. No going back for another attempt.
B. You can't switch Archetypes. You originally rolled a scrapper, you can't switch to a controller, or VEAT, etc. You're stuck as a scrapper.
C. The individual toon MUST have been created at least 24 months ago if not 36 months ago. (not sure if the game would be able to track that.)
D. With the new Paragon Point system it would cost at least 2400 pts per character respec, if not higher.
E. Your character title would turn red for 3 months after you did the respec, giving a warning to other players that you are probably not as familiar with your powersets as a normally leveled up toon would be.
Again, I don't think the total respec is necessary, but this may satisfy some who want/desire/"need" it. -
/double this
The Devs have said, quite emphatically "We will not and do not want to do this."
Not "There are technical barriers" or "We would if we had time/resources" or anything like that which was said for previous 'impossible things'. This is a flat out "No. Do not want." -

IDW do REAL Transformers;
The move designs look ok when drawn by Don Figueroa and EJ Su.
Whoever drew those panels is....sub par. IDW usually does much better. Not impressed. -
Quote:Which is his, and entirely in his remit to leave to them.But Stephen King's children can expect to inherit from his estate because he is a successful author and creator.
The characters may have been made by Kirby, but as WORK for Marvel. His heirs have done diddly squat. Why do they deserve anything again? -

No need to make articulated fingers. But they could at least (and CAN) make fingers with better texture quality and normal mapping. Y'know, that wonderful stuff they used on the Victorian faces that adds more detail? That would make the hands look less blocky. There are already hands in-game that have this look (monstrous for one), so it already is possible.

While I am not fond of the vendors (dear FRAG change their costumes!!) and prescence, that at least is a decent sounding explanation for them.
And better than the acronyms they gave the Fateweavers and Hero Corps reps >_> -
I'd love to see a LVAS Vanguard power; a pilotable Vanguard Assault Suit with the torso chassis reworked to allow a player character to be at the controls. And then you get the powers as part of the temp.
Heck, make it a permanently useable power, but on a major cooldown and with a decent duration. Oh, and add mez protection, seeing a HVAS getting KD and KB'd is kinda ridiculous...
Lotta work? Yup. But I'd pay to have that -
Quote:Yes, because teens are infinitely more likeable, competent and admirable than adults.Note that they never say that only one person dies.
They're all killed off and replaced by younger and better looking teenage substitutes with attitude.
Dear frag, can you IMAGINE what teen States would be like if people think his adult version is a jerk?
Do not want. Most teens are obnoxious >_< -
Quote:Inside the City hall in the Comic Con CoH: Freedom demo.
Its looking exactly the same, but what bothers me is the old NPC.
I dont understand why they keeping the old ugly low-res model of the City representative. I bet they doing the same with Azuria if she is still around.
Please devs, if you are working so hard to make an old zone look beatiful, do the same with those ultra ugly NPCs.
Maybe replace all the old citizens for new ones like Praetoria had (Where everytime is more common to see the old citizens again, and the new ones are missing) is too much work, but some of the important NPCs and contacts deserve actual models that doesnt hurt our eyes, please!
It cant be that difficult to make new models for some of them, like Azuria, City representative, SG registrer... I mean, we see them all time, please upgrade them!
My take on some upgrades:
City representative:
Azuria:
Yes. VERY yes. Make this so, NOW. If not sooner. -
Agreed.
I personally hate the Frankengun, and wish it would get a revamp to at least look SOMETHING like a gun with bits bolted on. There ARE such things as modable weapons systems in reality, I'm pretty damn sure they could make one in the world of CoH given the tech they have. -
The only person who could have voiced Rularuu is also passed away;
Orsen Welles
Edit: Frank Welker could voice- Well, I was going to say Mako but, given his talent, he could probably do a HUGE array of characters. Leonard Nimoy would make a good villain voice too.
