Edit:
Yeah? Well how come Praetorian lowbies are STILL whole leagues nastier than Primal mobs? Until about First Ward level where you finally get SOs to compensate?
If they did made changes, they need to make more. Praets at low levels are simply bloody annoying. -
Quote:Oh, THANK YOU FINALLY!
The Praetorian enemies are going to be adjusted to have their difficulty toned down, as they have too many attacks compared to other mobs of a similar level in the game.
I might be able to stand to level in Praetoria again! Sheesh!
Other than that, I have only one complaint; Assassin's Strike with StJ looks lame. It...lack clout, lacks weight, the stance is awkward...It needs to look a lot more intimidating and brutal.
And thanks again VK! -
Sweet model. Would be cool if it was. If not, eh, no worries. So long as the actual one looks decent.

There needs to be more 'punch them in the face' options.
Like with a tip mission red side featuring Bocor. You ahve two options;
1) Point out that you just slaughtered an entire army of ghosts and demons to get here, are still alive and have barely broken a sweat. And he, right now, is in YOUR way...
He pauses, ums a bit and then shuffles out of your way, like a good whipped dog. That suited my first character so damn well.
OR
2) Punch him in the face so hard his Voodun ancestors feel it.
Which my other character did. Bocor crumpled like a damp cardboard box. And damn that was satisfying too. -
Quote:Kheldians as a whole have an entire forum with multiple threads detailing (by people better with ideas and numbers than I) many possible and indeed wanted changes to the HEATs.I understand your reasoning and I certainly would not be against such an improvement sometime in the future. I guess I just don't see it as something that must be fixed as ASAP or "just because" the others were changed. Having an AT that works differently than all the others is not necessarily a "bad" thing.
Perhaps if you or someone else suggested a very well thought out idea for what you'd change the Khleds' inherent to then the Devs might be more likely to "buy into" the idea that it's something that actually needs to be addressed.
Personally, I'd rather have a constant higher Recovery rate on Kheldians (Not Superior Conditiong from VEATs, that thing is next to negligible...) to compensate for the high endurance cost for low damage return on things like solo PBs and...stuff. I'm no number cruncher; I don't know what would benefit the AT most. But SOMETHING is better than nothing when solo. -
I still think they might as well hire a bunch of nutless monkeys to replace the UI design team. It would yield the same results, for less cost.
Why yes, I hate the more recent UI changes (market, store), why do you ask? -
-
Quote:Yes, but in the past Tanks and Defenders Inherents were 'balanced' around 'People should be doing things in teams'.I've never really seen my Kheldian's team-oriented inherent as a "bad" thing that needed to be fixed. Some of my characters solo better than others - some of them work better on teams than others. I'll pick the character I play with based on the situation. I don't need them (nor would they ever) work equally well in all cases.
That being said I solo with my Peacebringer quite offten. No big deal. *shrugs*
Now that the Devs have finally and thankfully abandoned that, Defenders and Tankers got their solo-friendly changes.
So, Kheldian's are left out. They are still stuck with an Inherent that does NOTHING outside of teams. They are the only AT that suffers from this. Ergo, it needs fixing. -
-
Kheldians are the only ones in-game who have 'lolsolo' Inherents. And yes, they could really do with a look at.

@Anderson; Gerard Butler, is that you?
Seriously though-
*CLANG*
Someone fetch me a new jaw! Stat! O_O -
Quote:Yes, it added a whole new level of "Dear God, if I ever, EVER find out who did that DAMN patronising female voice in the tutorial I am going to do horrific things to them involving barbed wire and train tracks!!"But seriously, the voiceover added a whole new level to things. It would be a great way to improve existing missions, and deal with the ever-frustrating "disembodied-voice-which-is-talking-faster-than-you-can-read-while-trying-to-fight" problem.
I mean, for crying out loud, how LONG must they have searched to find the most boring, godawful, nauseating and ear-bending typical cut-glass American womans voice to torture people with?
The voice-overs were bloody terrible. And no, they sure as hell should NOT port them over to the main game, not unless they are willing to get voice TALENT to do it, not vox robotica.
/rant+Opinion -
No. One of the reasons I've never picked it up. Looks ugly and, worst of all, SOUNDS ugly. I think the only powers left that don't fade out are Devices Cloaking Field (whmwhmwhmwhmwhmwhmwhm.....) and various Ice related power. Which is annoying
-
I really, really wish they would employ 'Horde' mechanics for mobs that it made sense for.
One on one, a Redcap is going to get it's pointy head stepped on by all but the most lame of Heroes/Villains. But TEN of those little buggers will give you pause for thought.
Same with the Romans. One on one they should NO WAY have that much impact. These are ROMANS, with freaking iron swords and shields, giving an Arachnos Crab Spider with Heavy cera-steel armour a problem at times.
Now, if I was fighting twenty of them instead of one 'uber powerful 5th Column empowered Roman', then yeah, that WOULD make sense. -
*Looks at pictures*
...
*Falls on own sword*
Even the pics I take flipping ages on don't look as good as that T_T -
Still feel like 22 and SOs are the game changer and 'Rebirth' for my chars. They can suddenly actually hit stuff, do decent damage and do what they are MEANT to do.

Quote:There is no such thing as a bad opinion. Only an opinion.Ok. My guess is that most players of the game won't have 20 years of Software Engineer experience. That's the only response I could give to that.
Funny how people feel experience in a certain field of work justifies a bad opinion. Also funny how they feel they exist in a vacuum.
Also; Test=!Live servers. Stuff can and WILL crop up on Live that simply never did on Test and Beta, such as the Server List bug and such. -
You can have all that just as soon as I get my epic railgun set. Or SOME big gun that is nearly as big as the character is.
-
Vanguard=!Energy weapons. The Redding Rifle says hi and thanks for nothing
-
....I want those as a back detail, and I want them yesterday.

Quote:I can see Kunar's post, must have gone through since then.It seems that your clarification was either deleted or needs approval before seeing it because all I'm seeing is your reply to the idiotic DCUO comment.
That article is so full of fail, it's astounding. Did the OP not do ANY homework before writing it?
And...wow. That IS fail.
Hell, if that's the standard for net-journalism, I want me some of that job; I can get paid for writing stuff that will be way better than average, if that's anything to go by. -
QR
Doesn't Exemplaring already do that? Leave enhancements functional but discout set bonuses, I mean?
So, technically, that code already exists in game, right? -
*Gets choked on all the Drama Llama's and Ego's running around free, scurries back and hides in his trash-can lair* >_>

Quote:Hmn, fair point actually. I forget that it has to be from the LFT window. That makes sense. When you open your LFT window, you don't see a Sewer Trial, you see Death From Below. It makes sense to call it what it's called in the menu where people who haven't run it before will have to find it to join it.
Call it DfB then
