Wolf coasted down until his feet hit the street, the draft from his jets letting him pull level with the other heroes gathered around the dark Doctor.
"You should know by now, they dont call this place 'City of Heroes' for nothing," he said quietly, reloading a grenade. "And numbers dont really matter. It stopping your insanity thats the whole point."
He glanced at the others, then back at Edward.
"Lets dance..." -
It was late...-fill in excuse here-
D is *always* a toughy, again with the conflicts issue. To be fair to you two, yes it wasnt too bad. And, admittedly, I am still working out the kinks in Xaviers character (which I think Im getting now. Less angry, more cold watsit)
Butcha, it gets very easy where, if some things dont seem to work, and you've run into one to many godmoders in your time (dont ask...) then, well, prejudice aint just what a priest has for them -
Meh, oh wells. Another dead one I guess
-plots ways to take over NCNC-

see FFM we agree .. for any of my char to RP interact with Ellie they HAVE to accept she got married and was widowed .. your RP choices are FORCED on to me ...
no one is asying this is wrong .. but it is how RP works .. we god mode what happens to our toons ,, then require others to accept that as fact ...
if i chosse to ignore your Ellie plot line i can not RP with her ...everything effects everything .. just like the real world ....
to say i will ignnore what i do not like that is god moding .. by placing one self above the rest of the world ...
lets all be honest .. we all god mode the moment we create a new character ........

I'm sorry, what?
God modding is forcing someone into a situation in which they basically lose control over what their character responds too and how.
Claiming your character has used mind control on my character without my approval and then making up actions for my character is godmoding.
Setting up a story where god comes down to smite or rule over us all without us ALL agreeing it is godmodding.
Deciding you've killed Countess Crey or Recluse in a plot is godmodding.
All of which will be ignored entirely by the majority because they are all very bad ideas.
Having an all out attack on a player made organisation and Super Group by various canonically up for hire mercinary groups hired by a player created villain is not godmodding, it's completely ignorable, you don't need to get involved, and all involvement was your own choice.
Telling someone elements of your character's history is definately not godmodding, as it only has the affect as decided by that someone, not you.

Anyhow, letsee...
Chief Centurion Z1/Alpha/Omega: The Chief has his own gods, and so would refuse to bow down. Alpha (PB) would then most likely try to reason with it, before Omega (WS) went absoluetly blooming nova and started bringing about Destruction with a capital D.
Techbot ALPHA: Alpha would get as much data as he could, and then start churning out as much high tech, high grade, god-busting kit as he could. Despite some of his views, hes rather fond of Earth. The god would have a huge robot army to deal with first.
Krimzon Commander: Krim is a quiet christian, and would reject a god that did such a thing. He would most likely follow Recluse (guessing that he would be a mite ticked off) of gather up his own troops and anymore he could get before declaring war.
Kitsune Vixen: Kit has strong views on free will and the like. Being an empath psyker the god would most likely mess with her head, but probably not control her. She would definitelty side with the Chief.
Thats all the main ones really =] -
BG = Defensive and Follow, afaik.
And yes, MMs rely on high defence and/or swamping the foe with so much firepower that they dont even have a chance to say '[censored] mates?'
Minions. Gotta love em. -
Bending canon slightly is alright. For example, Blitz and the Unbroken Column (which I am a part of too) isnt really official canon, but its there, and fun.
I think the general thing that can be applied is 'if its god-moding, its bad'. For example, vampires that are suddenly immune to absolutely everything. I ran into TWO in Pocket D in one night, and a couple more dimensional/demonic undead beasties. My priest, who is a human, armed with a gun, lots of holy ammunition and basic skills with holy flame, basically got bounced off the walls, as 'Oh look we're immune to holy light too and holy bullets dont work either.'
/rant. Anyways, with canon as with most other things. Make it fairly sensible, dont drop one on other people and try to make it realistic. -
Wolf raised his head, watching Seven and Mechano squaring up. Without taking his eyes off the tableau, even as other Heroes began to circle, he neatly slotted an M30 frag into the launcher of his gun.
"Sorry laws, but this guy has got to go down," Wolf muttured, slapping the safety off, and then bringing the rifle to his shoulder.
With a click and a dull 'thwump' the shell was spat from the weapon, arcing gracefully down into the street, aimed neatly at Mechanos feet... -
Given its technically a whole different set, and the animations are already there (as shown by the NPCS that use them) is it that hard?
Asking.. -
As Mechano froze, a shot chipped a chunk out the ice, and would have connected with his shoulder. In this case, however, the prison became a shield.
Wolf swore, rolling back from the roofs edge, then manouvering as fast as he could to a new spot. -
The Chief sighed slowly, then looked up at the Troll Chiefteness.
"Where did this all come from? If the trolls have wanted peace, they could have asked for it, right? I know that people hold prejudices, but still...the authorities have been known to negotiate, Miss...?"
The part that was Alpha was embarresed at not knowing a name. The part that was the Chief was impressed at the situation, the Trolls seemingly sueing for peace...Omega was naturally raging away, but he was slow to learn, after all. -

Personally I dont see how TP and team TP = Invis and Team Invis...maybe im missing something?
Its not a *bad* idea, just could use some work. Maybe some more characterful stuff;
Ravages of Time
Extreme DoT
Your foe is slowly crushed as you warp their time field in various different ways at once.
Time Loop
Hold, moderate DoT
You trap a foe in a time loop, forcing them out of sync with normal time. This desyncing also causes moderate damage.
^ Now NPCs can experience lag-death too!Well, sorta not really, but hey.
[/ QUOTE ]
1. It couldn't work mate it's too overpowered. Maybe a Scrapper/Blaster power but definetely not Controller.
2. Good idea. I like it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Dunno about overpowered. It is only a damage power, something that trollers dont often have. It also has no effects. If it was a Hold, extreme, that would be.
Also, I never quite get the levels they put on damage. Maybe I mean Superior, or high? -shrug-
Anyway, this is a suggestion thread people, make some, dont just say 'Its **** I dont like it it will never work'. Well, you canbut meh.

"Captain, I swear this place is going to hell! We've got a couple of regular capes, some headcase who sounds religious and is *barbequeing* Skulls like its a summer roast and..well, carnage."
Wolf sat back on his haunches, hand to the side of his helmet, listening to the flurry of PPD radio transmissions. With a small sigh he stood up, hammering back the slide on his gun, and then taking off with a crack of jets.
The mob looked around as he landed next to them, scattering when the Skulls amongst them drew their weapons.
"Uh-uh, boys...peashooters down," Wolf ordered, raising his right gauntlet, which started to hum faintly.
The Skulls jumped as their weapons started to freeze, then yelped as they stung from the shear cold, and shattered when they were dropped from numbing fingers. Some of the gang tried to close range, but most were stopped by the fact their legs suddenly rooted to the pavement, or were shot out from underneath them. Wolf had had his training in the 1st Rikti War and the subsequent fighting in Grendels Gulch. He knew that the only good enemy was one that stayed down.
The last of the gang went down to a punch, and then Wolf rounded on the figure of Justice Delivered, stepping between him and the crowd.
"Stand down, pal! You're really not making any friends like that." -
The Chief clanked over to the Police chief, leaning down until he was level.
"I would suggest following that up, Captain. And, now, I think its time for a little peace around here..."
So saying, he slowly stepped forward, making his way out into the nomansland of concrete between the two groups. At first he had both hands held with palms open, in a gesture of peace. Then, as he neared, he lowered one, offered out in half of a handshake... -
A quite minor suggestion;
Hows come the animations for mace and the Bane mace are exactly the same? I mean, we see NPC Arachnos use two handed swings all the time, so the animations are there...and yet we seem to get something exactly the same as the regular mace.
The other half of minorness is the noise. Given the ammount of choice we have with weapon customisation, it doesnt really make sense for a baseball bat to make the same sound as a massive spiky facebreaker.
Just a little personal one. -
Wolf felt the Chiefs aura change even before he saw the colours shift, into the blue and white of Alpha.
"Where the hell did that come from?" the peacebringer muttured, looking left and right, then quickly taking Wolfs gun and lowering it.
"We do NOT want people to panic...or think it was us," he added. Then, with a 'thwump', the Chief took off, wings bringing him to rest next to the Police line, and began quickly scanning around for the commanding officer. -

You have to go get the radio/latest paper...
[/ QUOTE ]
You are wrong there. Once you have activated the newspaper/radio you dont have to see a broker to activate them in a new zone.
So the only reason to see them is when you do a bank job.
[/ QUOTE ]
...Afaik you have to go see them. Although that may be just Heroes. Cos I know you need to go to each detective to get the Police band for that zone. Villains? Maybe you dont...if thats the case, they need to fix that, and then, in hte best case, add a mobile/etc. IMO -
But still a swine. I tell you what I hate, where in grims name do you find Paragon Protectors in Villains? Where?! I want the crey rifles on my MM, and they are NOWHERE. =/

base beacons...teleport pads...huh?....
not know what that is suppose to be...but then again, saves space
[/ QUOTE ]
If you could get out of the main base portal, that is the blue swirly thing, and end up anywhere;
This then makes the teleporters, eg, the things you buy, obsolete. So that wouldnt happen. Anyway, most SGs should be able to rustle them up with ease.
The Base to Base TP, however =

I think this is at least the second time this has been suggested this month. It's probably about the 9 billionth time since the sliders were put in.
We all want it. The fact we don't have it would seem to indicate that there is some specific and fundamental reason why we can't do it. Repeatedly asking for it is not going to change that fundamental.
Nor of course is me posting that again going to stop the next person asking for the same thing in two weeks.

Apologies for not being as grey as you Raven
If it DOES mess things up for animations to be per costume, then surely they could let us have an 'overall' hieght editer? I dont know, thats why im suggesting it. -
The Chief glowered at the marching Trolls from the rooftop, optics zoomed in to scan the crowd.
"Y'know, these ones might be different, Chief," Wolf said quietly, watching through his visor.
The Chief merely grunted.
"I mean, they could just go on a rampage again..."
"Their Trolls. Nothing but drug addled inbreds, thugs and villains. What makes you think this lot are any different from Atta and his ilk?" the Chief snapped suddenly. "You were in Atlas when they hit the Hollows, werent you?"
Wolf winced. He remembered. Sixteen, at the time that Eastgate had been blown underground, in 'The Hollowing'...
He looked up, watching nervously as the Chiefs armour shifted colour, to the dark red and black of Omega, the Warshade.
"Villains and scum..." the kheldian growled quietly through the Chiefs vox grill, watching the marching mob with baleful eyes... -
I agree that its daft. ESPECIALLY in high level zones.
Anyway, you DO have to see them at least once. You have to go get the radio/latest paper...once is more than enough, thank you!
And, at lvl 50, when you busted the world so hard you might have chipped a mecha-digit, theres not much else to do OTHER than paper missions
