Hmm...to try the test server or to wait?
...should wait, really. But still =P
Nov 25th...can live with that XD -
/Signed for drones around trainers. I mean, come on.
Either that OR...maybe have the trainers actually attack? We have all these Super powerful beings standing around...doing nothing? :P heh. Very heroic.
But yes, but late now. Still /signed -
Two rather different subjects, but while Im here;
1. Why are the civilians in Mayhem missions targetable? It the most annoying thing, trying to cycle through targets, and you keep wasting powers on them. Can they be made either un-targetabble, a la Hero-side, or can they be killable, which is perfectly fitting for villains and will add much entertainment and a sense of satisfaction -nods-
2. The Veteran respecs require you to visit the trainer. Now, blue side, not a problem. Galaxy City? Piece of cake! Villains, however, get a lovely jaunt to Nerva, which is NOT an easy zone. Whats even more annoying is that the respec text says, visit either the trainer OR type in /respec...which does not in fact work. Le very annoying. Can that be fixed/made easier? -

The NPCs have a walk animation. However, the NPCs are all the same hight, and don't use combat animations.
[/ QUOTE ]
Hardly. Crab Spiders all vary in hieght, as do other Arachnos troopers who can be seen walking. But I agree that there a probably ('probably') problems with implementing it.
Making it a power to use would be interesting..but feh =] -
Hmm, Its a cool idea, but it is in fact already do-able. Admittedly we dont get the shotgun blast they get, but, that aside, its pretty easy to make a Huntsman. I agree that Wolf Spiders on their own are SO damn squishy...but yeah. Neat idea, just dont see it happening =3

Im not saying 'Remove' the power. Im just suggesting they change it so that it doesnt mess with powers which have interupt times, such as the medicine powers, and the self-base teleporter. Just really annoying little details.
I *think* its because the suppresion 'power' counts as an enemy power, not an auto. Ergo, the game thinks your being attacked and interupted. So, make it an auto-power that is granted when you go to Pocket D main?
Anyway, the suppresion field doesnt extend to the foyers anyway, counting out the 'not wanting people to go to other Zones' part. Afaik. -
A good job from Zortel and all the Union/Virtue peeps that work in the shadows to bring us our Wikia goodness ^^
However...I am NOT amused. The thought of someone tampering with things that people have worked long and hard on is really, REALLY infuriating. Especially when you dont know what in Grims name you are doing!
So...mistake made. Learn. Do. Not. Repeat.
End. -
If the person is heading a team, why not simply bung a star next to their name in the search window? Instead of the oh-so-random list of names, some of which are on teams and some arent...which I hate, have a status list. E.g. Leader, team member, solo, They have it on the Global list, for example. Why not extend it to the mind numbing search list?

I would like walking, personally. But, as with a lot of bugbears to do with animations/sounds/colours, that seems to be one of the things that, unfortunately, wont be happening unless CoX gets a mahoosive overhaul and re-upload with a new engine and all the shiny gubbins that we REALLY want.
Would be nice, but it seems to be off the menu for now. -
Would it be possible to make the TP suppression a passive power? Or something that stops it from interupting powers. Its annoying for RP when trying to use powers like he medicine ones, which are interuptible, or in general, such as the Base teleporter, none of which work in D's main.
-
Its definitely a good idea. And, implemented right, it shouldnt be a down-point for people who dont have/dont want a SG.
The Prestige boost for everyone sounds interesting. As with most interesting suggestions, it would need to be a case of correct implimentation.
/Signed (if its done right)

So its really just the vahz that are powerlevellin and killstealing :|
Come to think about it . . . . .
This is all a Vahz plot!!!! First the killstealing, then the powerlevelling, then having every building with a door have a ton of zombies behind them (ToT) and finally the "lag power" . . . zombie invasion!
hmmm im wondering . . . . . .

Nah, you often find one lonely grey-conning Vortex Marksman or something simi;ar in high level Council Mobs...
They'll ALL be at it soon! -

They even mention something like this in the backstory, when good ol' Nemesis tried to take over the US of A. Teams had to stop his army, find him and find an antitode for the poison he was releasing into cities. IIRC or similar at least.
I like. CoP being fixed sounded good too =] -
I was going to say, actually. Sounds more like a con-scrapper idea...which is quite cool.
Knocking the stars outta the mobs in a whirling melee of madnessI personally think its a cool idea.
-
'Oh dear god, what have we done?'
XD
Does look epic. -
Hehe, I must say, nice one. Its hardly ruining fun if, A) they have lots of people enjoying it and, B) they did warn people before hand.
Looks like a laugh, and an almighty lag fest XD -
Aye, they are REALLY quite tough. If your lvl 50, probably not, but low levels do seem to have a lot of trouble.
Cant really remember how I founf Rikti on low levels, but im pretty sure that they werent that hard when teamed up. -shrug- -

Yeah. Mind you, everyone on Union that RPs doesnt really like them.
I will refrain from calling it 'Deviant', but repeated attacks on RPers ain nice. Hmkay?
That said, I do hope things go well. I sounds like a mental idea, and thus will probably be quite fun, if only to watch
Maybe have to try it Union...if we're not all busy RP'ing -
I...I thought I posted on this?
-Horror-
Oh well, here goes the mind-dump...
Chief Centurion Z1: My first character, invul/energy tanker, hard as nails even though he has been cursed with multiple foul respecs. Im awaiting the I13 freespec to put him out of his misery. He also plays host to my two Kheldians;
ChiefCenturion Alpha: The name was one space too long! -sob- Oh well. Alpha is the Peacebringer that inhabits the Chiefs robotic body, and has all the awesomeness that goes with that.
ChiefCenturion Omega The Warshade that also resides in the Chief. Only Z1 has the ability to switch between all three atm, but the scitzness is fun as hell
Kitsune Vixen: My mutant psychic medic. Shes great fun to play, a party animal and friendly, one of my more human toons.
X21 Ice Wolf: The calmer brother of Z22 Pyre Fox, who is played by a friend, the Hound brothers are great fun. Wolf is useless in social situations, but having survived the first Rikti war hes a tough nut in the field, and has headshotted his way through more than a few hordes of villains.
Techbot ALPHA: An evil little can, Alpha has changed a lot over the years. Once he was a totally cold little nasty, now hes quite fun to play. Head of Tech of The Corporation, friend of Walter Steamworth and a pain in the bum for anything that wears a cape and talks about truth, freedom, justice and a hard boiled egg
Krimzon Commander: Head of the Krimzon Guard, an Arachnos Elite regiment with the same name as its Council predecessor, which was also run by the Commander. A real nasty of a Crab Spider, who hates the 'weaklings' of Paragon, and believe firmly that humans can be just as good as anyone with superpowers. Has a vendetta with Longbow, and is utterly ruthless towards 'Heroes' and thugs in the Rogue Isles. Possibly as close to an uncorrupt police force as the Isles has ever known, surprisingly.
Von Schaden A german assassin, who survived both World Wars and is still at large. His internals are now a complicated and ornate mesh of man and machine, but he still retains his human mind and morals. He doesnt pick on the weak of defenceless, but thats because their no fun...
Ess: A recent concept who turned out really well. Ess is mad, round the twist, mental, loopy, doo-lally, stark raving off her trolley. She has already died four times, and yet...she hasnt. She tends to bend peoples minds when shes around, alongside bending gravity totally out of shape. Her smile also makes people bend somewhat. Its a little too fixed at times. She'll do anything for a laugh.
Varius: Previously I made a clone of Tyrael from Diablo 2, who then got updated and made a decent character when I saw the angel made by @Sprawler. In the beauracracy and politics of the Celestial Realm, Varius is known as 'The Radical', mainly for the fact that, although he does get his duties done, his methods are extreme to say the least; accepting aid from demons and other sorts. Given the ammount in Paragon, however, its quite hard to avoid them. Varius is unprejudiced, however, and, so long as you stay on his good side, he's a good friend. Cross him, and hes also a very good swordsman.
Operative Doc: The Sergeant-At-Arms of the Krimzon Guard. My Bane spider, who used to be a medic. A grumpy old sergeant turned out to be much more fun to play, power and personality wise. He now terrorises anyone in range, and holds the same views as his boss.
All my main ones, more notes can be found on The Union Handbook. -

Removing the debt from the door critters might help (as far as I know the raiding zombies are like rading Rikti - they don't dish out debt) but like I said earlier it's still annoying and ill-mannered aswell as a form of harrasement.
[/ QUOTE ]
^ THIS!
The door mobs spawn at about +2-3 lvls higher than you if your on a team. Far too high for one thing. Also, given how nasty the Lieutenants are, it detracts so horribly from the 'fun' of the event when you faceplant every two or three minutes.
I was after the Malleus Badge for one of my characters...its was a chore, not fun at all. The whole of his lvl 10 life has been filled up with debt. Not even joking.
Debt removed would be nice, but fixing it so that they spawn at the correct level for you...a must, please.
And spirit rates, although that one hasnt bothered me so far =] -

Ah...Fusionette...-cracks knuckles-
Anyhow...I just cant wait to see what this is like. I will admit that the 'killstealing' allies is a bit daft...half exp or something? -shrug-
Anyhow, more news is good news =P
[/ QUOTE ]
no, not having allied mobs take away exp is daft...
otherwise there'd be missions where you first free Statesman, sister psyche, Backalley brawler, from their captors and then just drag them through any mobs thats left on the map while you just lean back and rest.
[/ QUOTE ]
Indeed. That mechanic stops people making huge maps full of Freakshow etc, and letting the ally chars do all the work.
[/ QUOTE ]
Aye, I can see exactly why they did it. I guess we'll just have to see wether we get sick of it or not when it comes out
Roll on the Issues! -joy- -

I even know someone who wouldn't mind another part of the game developed for your alter ego
He said it would be good if your alter ego did things a la Sims then could go do superhero bits too.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sims....City of Sims? Oh, wait, thats Sim City...
That bit I dont like.
It would be quite nice for an earlier 'Alter Ego' mode, like the VEATs. And possibly smoother changes. -shrug- -
