True. Thematically, its sorta appropriate...
Reality wise its really infuriating at times
And then you get an 8 man Crab Spider team...and alllll the pain goes away...or at least in the oposite direction -
Because people mostly do anyway?
Its either something functional, like 'SG X's Base', 'headquarters' etc.
Or something more creative, e.g. 'The Maze'.
-shrug- -
More big items for Tech. Arcane has all sortsa huge items, Tech has barely any. Sewer has a few nice ones, espcially the steel platforms, but something a bit sleeker would be real nice. And tech things to stick on walls, and such...
And to fix the wall items that wont go on the walls! Really annoying!
Meh... -

NHU base is huge and confusing, Corporation base just got an upgrade and will be.
Also need to fix the bug where items from the zone map appear on the Base map. -
Wall items are obscenely hard to place on walls. They either insist on sticking in midair, or just not placing in a majority of cases. Base editing is generally alright, but the wall items are incredibly jittery.
-
I know they'd be nice, as would a whole slew of other things, such as idle weapon poses and walking, tons of things that are in game but not assecible to us...
But all the 'Devs time' would get overrun pretty fast if everything got added. So, most likely, none of it'll happen any time soon, as they''ll be implenting other things and, hopefully, spending the time fixing some of the [censored] horrible bugs around. And the server stability...now THATS a dream -

Theres a lots of items in missions what would look nice in your base. They are already in game, so I dont think its too difficult to put them into the editor too. A bartable would look nice and blackjack table.
Items with some interaction. Like TV, radio, telephone, flipper, pool table, darts target, drinks or food etc. When you click the item, your character make some emotes. WoW is good example. You can klick a chair and your character sits on it.
Some way to make visits to other groups bases. Perhaps some invitation system could work?
[/ QUOTE ]
Telephones and TVs already exist, to an extent. And there are emotes enough to interact with them. I Do agree with the click to sit thing though, at least as an option. Having to balance precariously on barstools and the like without hovering is really annoying at times. Dont make click-sit the only option, mind. Limits are bad.
And there is an invite system. Coalition invites and team member invites. Works fine so far, and if you want people outta your base, simply kick them from your team -

Server and power lag: Powers when activated either don't display the action or display the action and keep the activation in progress circle running until that power has been re-used once it's able to or you zone. Sounds for powers repeat on a loop once they're activated for a few seconds before finishing the files sound.
Other players run on the spot, even if they have already stood still, or stutter past like an echo of their passage.
Vehicles and pedestrians stutter around like they're not sure where they are supposed to be at that particular second. And all this happens even if your just stood still watching it happen.

So its not just me
Any idea when, if ever, this is going to be fixed? Its a really nasty problem at times, especially in missions on higher diffs and such. Complete lock up resulted in a team faceplant one time, which really sucked.
Surely to goodness this could have been fixed by now?
-sits back and waits for the flamestorm- -
Your lucky. /sync does absolute jack for me. Mapsever + /sync = zilch. Rubberbanding + /sync? nada. Type lag + /sync? Nothing.
Is it really that hard to provide a stable server that works for everyone? Is it? If so, please let us know, it'd be much better than doing nothing about it...

Hmm...haven't noticed anything, but the teaming I did yesterday was such a one sided slaughter that i probably wouldnt have
Will keep an eye out. -
Alright, I get the points made.
I still think, as other do apparently, that there is an issue with endurance.
Maybe making Fitness inherent or taking it away *is* not an option, or stupid. But it shouldnt be a *must*, not by a long shot. The Pool powers are there to add flavour to characters, not to straightjacket them. Stamina should make life easier, but not to the degree it is at the moment.
Its a call for a balance, more than anything else. It just doesnt feel right, at the moment. Looking at some of the replies, im not the only one. And im not saying 'make it easier' or implement it badly...hell, nothing should be implemented badly.
Still, thats one guys opinion -

So are they trying deliberately to make the game like WoW? lol
"Super Booster II will be a magic-themed pack that will sit alongside the Cyborg pack very well. It will have costume pieces and other goodies that are themed for both stage magicians as well as your more traditional fantasy mages."
[/ QUOTE ]
No...its probably because people asked for that a lot? And the current options for mages are rather poor?
The Magic origin is there for a reason
I13...hmm...yeah, I dont really mind, when its up its up.
I'm also in the 'stucj with a laptop' group, and, even though it runs really pretty smooth, except the lagspikes, which tend to be not just me (tend...)...
But I want *shiny graphics* damnit! It can RUN Performance, but only for around 45 minutes....then it just dies...bah!

The rationale - which I agree with - is that if Fitness (for which, read "Stamina") was an inherent, End management would be such a minor issue that you might as well drop the entire stat from the game.
[/ QUOTE ]
I disagree, stamina helps with endurance, it doesn't allow you to never look at your blue bar again.
I think something should be done about endurance at low levels though.
[/ QUOTE ]
Basically this. Its still something to keep an eye on throughtout the game, but thats WITH Stamina...If you tried to play certain builds at higher levels without it, solo would be either ludicrously slow, or impossible.
Im not suggesting 'do away with endurance', as that slightly defeats...well, a LOT of things...
But I really, really hate having to have three powers just to be 'in the game', so to speak. Am I the only one that finds that really irritating? And the recent I13 changes to do with 'unused' powers...ever wonder why some of them are unused? probably a lot because people 'might' pick them, but won't as they need to find room for the fitness trio.
If not making it an inherent, then looking at endurance balancing would be really really welcome. -
I dont know about anyone else, but, with the exception of the few characters I make without travel powers, I really hate the fitness pool. Not the powers, just having to find room in a build to slot three powers that, again with a few exceptions, you NEED to be able to have any real chance of keeping up.
At lvls 16, 18 and 20, id love to pick one of the many powers that I can get then, adding something cool, explosive or defensive to a build. Id rather NOT have to settle for an autopower simply so that I dont need to stop for an End Rest after every two mobs.
Am I the only one that thinks this is really, really annoying/stupid? Why not make sprint and hurdle inherents at lvl 6, health inherent at lvl 14, and stamina inherent at lvl 20? That way, no 'balance' is upset, and everyone can then spend three slots on other powers.
Verdict? -

Of course you could do the same thing as they do in the winter event missions. Every time you complete a tf you get to choose a cossie reward of choice. Can be a weapon or some gloves etc.

Now THAT I like!

Tbh, I think it would be nice if they had more NPC villains around the place. For a city so assailed by crime (bank missions aside) you rarely see the bigger bad guys.
Having a Police band that was on all the time and popped up with things like 'Commatorium has been spotted in Skyway city' etc. Then anyone who wanted to could try and hunt them down...badges anyone? heh
But yeah, making the city feel more *alive* would be really good. At the moment it jsut feels like a backdrop, and sometimes a hinderance...Id love to have it like the first time I walked into Steel and thought 'Oh...thats tall...' -
Dont ask, Fulcrum

Bloody Bay Assault!
Longbow representatives issued a statement today to clarify the rumours circulating that a simple, four man group of Arachnos soldiers had caused horrific damage to the Bloody Bay field base.
"It is correct that four Operatives were responsible for a majority of the damage," Warden Kolsen reported, "This was due to a diversionary attack by other Arachnos forces at the time. The explosions came from a source in the upper atmosphere, which we believe to be one of the infamous Warburg Rockets. The blasts were devastating to the forces on the beach, but I can reassure people that these blasts have been witnessed before. They are nowhere near as powerful as standard missiles, and the term 'nuke' has been used more as a nickname than anything. Proffesor Lilian Jones of DATA has confirmed this, given our previous experience of dealing with Villains who have made use of the orbital strike capacity of those missiles. We can assure the folks back home that Arachnos will not be able to get results like this a second time." -
Hey, not my suggestion, I was just trying to point out the original meaning
Now, where can I put this carp farm...or should I invest in the australian gold?

Widows = game in easy mode after lvl 24
VEAT story arcs = load of tosh
VEAT costumes = fine, if you're into them.
I'm looking forward to trying a crab/bane once I get my widow to 50 so I can see how they play.

Edited for accuracyWidows before lvl 24, without a team, are pain and dev hate given form
Think of a stalker with low defences...and then take away Hide and Assasins Strike...yeah. That smarts... -
Id love to see more of the Legends step off the pedestals once in a while and hand out finely tuned, uber shiny justice at the end of a fist/blast/arrow
if the Devs/rednames (still not too sure about the difference) could get the time, showing up now n then ingame would be very cool.
