Aye, would be much preferable to have both arcs be 25+. And, as noted, all the mobs scale to 50 anyway.
I'm guessing there must be some super secret, marketting-gagged reason linked to GR as to why this is so, though.
Still. /Signed -
Because, having gone back to one of my characters and checking over again, what we have at the moment really doesn't look anything like a trenchcoat. Certainly not a military one.
Kroenen from Hellboy

Now, that? Trenchcoat. Being able to have something even resembling that would be ideal (and with more military options, for non-villains
) Certainly more variaty on the top options you can wear with the trenchcoat. Because theres nothing that even vaguely looks like 'Officers jacket w/ trenchcoat over it' in game.

Quote:2 months? PFAH!You dont deserve a soldier/widow without a 50 villain
Actions speak louder than vets
Or maybe im just biased because I spent 2 months leveling a 50 villain just for widow before this was announced
I spent 15 months getting my first Hero to 50, and longer for my Villain. Did I enjoy getting them then? Hell to the yes? Do I wish they had kept it at 50? Hell to the NO. Why? Because getting to 50 for some people takes a long time. I remember 47-50 especially was absolute murder, mostly because I really wanted the EATs by that point. And I dont think perfectly decent ATs should be locked away so far as that. -
Nothing worse than all the 'Worst tested issue ever's we've had...ooo, what, every issue to date?
I sympathise with those who are running into major problems. My main gaming PC a while back took...about five minutes to load Faultline? Just the zone. It was atrocious. My laptop, fortunately, was better, but I was still stuck on minimum at all times.
Nowadays the rig I run isnt top grade (9800GT gfx card, etc) but it's not bad. And I've run into no problems thus far, other than the known bugs like the groundpull vet staffs. -
It's not worth it...Join the Legion! Experience the sheer visceral joy of zerging a map with 6 MMs all with Demons! Watch the mobs vanish under a tide of flaming, clawing and snarling demons!
Demonic win: We Haz It! -
I lol'd. Hard.
It's true though! The water is gorgeous!

Burst en masse has always been a bit of a bum for Def based builds.
Frankly, though, SoAs are not Defence dependant builds. Crab Spiders certainly aren't. They have less defence than most other SoA builds and the Widow builds, and make up for it with res based powers.
And I'll add to the 'never had a problem with *most* EBs'. The exceptions being KB wh*res like the Ballista's, and vermin like Calistyx and his pet boss army. -
I would be highly surprised if they weren't working on it. Test -> Live is never smooth. It never has been. Whatever work is done on test, you can guarentee that there will be some little detail or technical glitch or coding hitch that will through a monkey wrench in the face of a lot of people.
This, and the zomg it's broken! posts around the place, are no different from every. Single. Issue. that has been released as long as I can remember.
Fact: You can't please everyone

Hmm. Some of the comments are worthy of note;
-Mitten hands and old character models: Bad
-Repetitive low level missions and the older content: Bad
-Repetitive maps: Bad
So... What was that about new shiny zones being 'better'?
Shutting up? Nope. Never. -
See? I'm not the only one who thinks revamping old stuff would be a good idea!
I'll maybe convince someone, one of these days *smack faceplate off desk*
But yeah. The villain arcs I played through on Test...and blew my mind so much I was gleeing until 3 in the morning. 'Squee' and 'omfgomfg!' don't cover it. -
They ain't, actually;

Slightly low res, but they are a sort of bluey-grey-ish colour. I guess to reflect Makos colour somewhat.
Doesn't mean I like it/ I think Crab Spider armour is kinda meh in NPC colours, and the lack of a belt makes them look...odd. Now, this chappy;
looks much better in my opinion.
...Yes, yes Krimzon Commander is mine. Shush
But I like the new fittings in the bases. -
Where is it originally from, anyway? Never seen that in-game before.
It looks kinda cool for drawing the blackwand...but not so much in an actual fight. It still fires ok, just...looks wierd. -

Quote:Aha, I was wondering about this and about to post. Thanks for the info...can still wish my DP blaster would do 1997 damage with a headshotThe modifier table seems to be jacked up for Blasters and Controllers. Therefore, all powers for those 2 ATs have wrong numbers across the board. We are aware of the issue and currently looking into a fix.

Quote:Leon is the kinda guy..well, lets just call him a ladies man.Usually Liz starts her fights with 'Go ripp him apart boys... I am in the back relaxing.' But sure... if you survive that we can talk... even dirty if you like that

Although those zombies would be looking for new limbs once he was done with introducing his katana to them

Hmm...I think you'd have to make a whole new AT, with a bar akin to rage, but increasing as you were damaged (not hit and miss as rage is now, but as you slot health. Wether you regained that health shouldnt matter though)
So, the more pain you had taken, you simply get tougher and tougher, and just as ticked off.
It's a cool idea though, and some obvious thought has gone into it =] -
Too many to count.
Although getting Posi's gall last night was quite fun
You know I ain't gonna quit on the fact the old content is old! I'll have a job at PS one day, then you'll never get away from me!
Oh, and first time meeting Devs. Last year I think that was, back when WW was in her old job. Even then she was really cool. Viva le EU! ^^ -
Quote:Yeah, I thought the blue change was intentional, until I looked closer and saw the glitching...which I hope is fixed but left blue, too. Blue DOES look better in those bases. Red and black is great, dont get me wrong...so long as its accented by a third colour. Basic art principle, folksYeah, those I spotted, but I thought it was my video card glitching out. Huh... Well, I guess the solution is to make them blue, too, not to make the blue ones red

Quote:That sums it up nicely, BillHow about "Can we get going with the overall base editor revamp that will give us more freedom and choices in general" while we're at it? I want hallways I can just drag a length for, not workshops or "secure corridors" in a non PVP base.
I want paper-thin walls. I really don't need ten feet of cement, steel, gravel, etc. between them.
I want rooms that touch at the corners.
I want to be able to place a room wherever I want in relation to another room, THEN select the doorway, not have a perfectly legitimate placement denied because of the "default" doorway being blocked (even if there's a spot 1-2 blocks down that's fine.)
I want to be able to convert a room "in place" to a larger version of the same, just paying the cost difference (which we do now, really.)
I want a holding area for crafted items (typically teleporters) when I have to delete a room and recreate it (usually because of the "larger version" actually.)
And I'm happy to throw "wider hallways" onto the list.
Need a "Base love" issue. >.>
