  2. Gah! I was really looking forward to Electric Control more than Dual Pistols and demon summoning...I guess I can't quiet up and wait...it's going to kill me though. also Ice and Storm is not water control. That's like Saying Thermal Radiation is Fire Control O_o.
  3. Weird no one has mentioned that Rad Has a hold, Chocking Cloud, and Enervating Field.
  4. Also one thing about Poison form what I've been told one can repeatedly stack the effects on baddies correct?

    Probably so. In fact I can tell you what maps and what Powers/Archetypes are hard on your graphics card. MM's were the worse and god forbid I played on a lvl 32+ team on the archanos map...that map would kill my graphics card/memory so much that the only way i could play on team is if I hit tab and start hitting buttons...in fact I would have to hold down buttons for 1 or 2 seconds to make sure the power fired due to the vid lag.

    I used to have a P4 Dell Optiplex 360...and I can't rem the graphic card but the last update was in 06 LOL. You'd be surprised how many people have old comps like mine!

    I remember when my comp crashed when three thug MM's summoned Gang War around about the same time...ugh. I could barely do invasions unless my graphics were to the floor and Mothership raids or the impervious TF was out of the question . Again let em state my graphics was all the way down. Also other settings were reduced in the advanced menu.

    I can list which MM's lag you the most.

    1.Robots-The lasers, rockets and burn patches owns and old card.
    2.Thugs-The explosions and burn patches are killer and let's not even discuss Gang War!
    3.Mercs-They are not as bad but the flashbang grendade? Can do a number on your card...but since it's on such a long recharge it isn't that bad.
    4.Necro-Not to bad at all even the Lich, Necro doesn't slow you down to much.
    5.Ninjas- The only issue is Rain of fire but other than that...not an issue.

    On my old PC, I ended up hating MM's b/c they would make my graphics card cry out in tormented bloody anguish.

    Ever since DP I think they are on another lvl now...I meant yes I do not care for DP much but the set is very impressive.

    I bet the New At's and EATS will look as amazing as well! ^___^
  9. I have a Merc/Poison and again like other shave stated the safest way to dill with baddies if you are /poison is Tanking.

    this toon has been sitting collecting dust for 2 years. I've used SOOO many respecs oh him it's just silly. I just received another vetspec so I said why not let me make him a mm tank...Well by golly it worked. I took two of the tanking powers and I keep them on auto...well kinda. While they are taking hits at me I am using my /poison secondary debuffing the poo out of them...and I don't even have Noxious Gas!

    People say that a Merc MM shouldn't take NS but I beg to differ. I cannot even count how many times the baddies run up to the commando and get in his Face.
  10. Indeed what the above posters have already stated...and You have to go with the MU as your Patron. That adds SO much more to your AOE.

Armor sets just depends on whatever you can get the highest stats with usually, unless its stone or dark, stone has slowed effect from granite you need to learn to counter and dark is stupidly endurence heavy without efficient slotting.
    Pred I've only seen...I would say less than 7 good brutes/tanker tank very well...One guy was so good that he pulled over the aggro cap but somehow managed to keep them clustered around him...often times I was in complete awe of his tanking ability.

    to many times have I seen a tank or brute try to pull more than he can handle and end up endangering the team and himself...but this guy..whew! I wish I could remember his power pics...I think it was Invul/ something lol.

  14. Necro/Storm is a yummy combo you can debuff baddies to the floor with To Hit.

    ID is a great power, it can be used reactively when someone is mezzed or KB'd or proactively. I tend to dish it out with the SB as I'm used to giving them out as pairs. I don't reapply it the instant it wears off though, I tend to reapply it when SB wears off.

    Practice is all it takes, learning how to combat buff is the key. Shoot Shoot, Buff Buff... of course with DP/Kin I like to call it Bang Bang, Zoom Zoom.
    Heh, kinda insulting and snarky with a touch of sugar eh? LOL

    I play and HAVE played plenty of kins and I know that on teams if you are playing the complete Kin Role you cannot Blast/Shoot or whatever as much as you like or should. Now this might be b/c I sb as soon as it wears off. I can see one sb'ing when you're free or ID'ing certain people who need it...but honestly if I constantly kept SB and ID up I would be VERY busy.

    ID is amazing and awesome but it's very rare that I take it on my kins unless I have room. I still think they need to lengthen the timer on SB and ID but that is a T_T request that has been going on since forever haha.

    You're right Cold can debuff like a mother and of course kin can. Cold reminds me of Poison in some Regards...after I debuff the AV/EB/GM/Hero I actually feel bad for them because after I am done with them they are literally helpless.
  17. I still say nothing can out Aggro a Dom...well except for s Spines.Fire scrapper. My Fire/Thorns Dom has made baddie so angry that I can even pull baddies off of a Stone Brute O_o. If only Doms could take the Dmg though.
  18. I never Take ID. That's bad I know but if you think of it between using ID,SB, Siphon Power, Fulcrum, Transfusion, Transference, Siphon Speed...when will you have time for your secondary and primary?
  19. I've been playing for over two years and I didn't know about it. So beat the dead horse all you want, everyone needs to know lol.

    I HAVE learned that casting it on a spawn makes them VERY angry so either i chew on a purp before I do it or cast is then haul ahrse out of there!

    AMAZING, Mixing chemical Rounds with my debuffs made me giggle like a little school girl. I would pull the baddies with RI then pop a purp...they would come to me and I would laugh maniacally while CC was running. Once they were held I would use EF then let loose with the Aoe's.
  21. I'm not big on DP/Kin...if you don't take Repel it's painful. One thing I admit if you Fulcrum+Bullet Rain+HoB you will shed a tear. Hehehe

    I like TA and RAd with my DP Corr.
