o WOW...I have SO many ideas for costumes thanks to this booster.
  2. Great work David! Also Bass, seriously it took me 15 seconds to even find his face and to even see how he was positioned I had to move close to the screen lol.

I admit I wanted more heads and tails but this will do! I can make some nice Plant, Deer, Reptile toons with this pack.

Also Thanks to you guys for considering making a Monster pack. To be honest I think it would be up there with the most requested pack ever.

I am not Furrie but I admit I always wanted to make a proper shark dude or werewolf!
  3. I love the biolumi face...very creepy and perfect for a Jack Skeleton toon. Also the eyes for the Organic set is amazing as well for simple and will look awesome with a hood.
  4. Bah! Of course they took the online store down.

  6. Madam you might be thinking about when you face different enemy groups. For Example if your diff is on +0/+4 solo fighting council during the mid levels you might encounter lets say 10 minions with 2 Lt's thrown in the mix for spice. If you look at another enemy group for example on +0/+4 like Arachnos you will find yourself fighting 1 Mu Boss 3 LT's and I don't know 1 or 2 minions.

This can change once you form a team and reset the mish. Causing a difference of LT, Minion and boss spawn mob size. I wish I could explain myself more...it's one of those things in which it's easier to show then...hrmm, I am to lazy to use Powerpoint right now lol.
  7. Even IF they were correct the slows do little when it comes down to mitigating damage in the high lvl range. Especially when you are dealing with Top Tier baddies like Nem, Malta and Arachnos.

This could work as well. Maybe give the Spec Ops. Stealth Strike and toxic rounds?
  10. I know all about the cottage rule but I think for this set they need to push that rule to the side.

Yes, it's possible to get permadom with Stamina...in fact I would never skip Stamina on a dom..it's possible but there's no need to. Fire/ and ?Earth can be hard on end...w/o stamina it would be torture.

  13. I'm sorry New Dawn..but one shouldn't have to go so far out of the way to make the set barely up to par. Why are you being so vague? Please explain more about this tanking?

Even so, the build that you're describing probably neuters the defender as far as damage is concerned. They would have to skip many powers from their secondary making them ineffective when it comes to soloing.
  14. Well, Dayum Luminara...O_O *blinks* Well spoken!! I am not even going to attempt to pick up where you left off...there's no need!

fire/kin is fine, and it's not like this is my first toon, I'm not a new player...I just don't specialize in builds. so far, fire/kin is fine for me right now.

plays alot like a lock-down version of my fire/mm blaster.
Have fun! Fire/Kin turns most people off. I hope you have the willpower and the stamina. I would team a lot it will make things easier.
  16. I agree I love Earth/Fire it lets you melts faces off w/o worry...plus hitting Fiery Embrace and then spamming Fire Breath and Blaze is a VERY beautiful thing!

    Heh, I agree.
  18. This may sound silly but Focus is up there as one of my TOP favorite powers of the entire game.

Which form would you say is better to skip?
Ugh, I admit it depends on your playstyle. I admit I love to Tank sometimes so I opted for Dwarf...but I admit hitting Eclipse With Three Fluffies...and going into Nova Form is a thing to behold. A Flying ball of pure purple malice.

I didn't go for tri due to my laziness. I'm bad when it comes to crafting IO's and I didn't want to stretch out my slots.

I've had some trials over time with my 50 Warshade, so that might color my opinion that they're especially difficult to play well... I don't seem to have done as well as others in this thread, at least. Still, it's a unique and very interesting AT... worth trying just to see stacked Mires, Stygian Circle, and the glory of Eclipse.
Do you have a Tri-Form Patt? I was miserable when I leveled my WS to 50 taking the Tri-Form route. Once I decided on a Dual Form it was alllll guuuuddd lol.
  21. I would like to say to Silas, Turbo_Ski if it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't have gave Cold it's due. Great guides both of you.

I'm pretty sure it was both of us. She's a very pretty lady...pretty as in drop dead sexy.

Hrmm, I think I would roll a Ill/fire, Ill/NRG, Ill/Thorn I...wow it actually meshes well with almost everything.

Trollers: like you say it has no readily available aoe containment. In a troller world dominated by contained damage this is a pretty major drawback. And yet Ill controllers get by just fine.

PA under high recharge is pretty amazing and is a large part of the draw to such combos as ill/rad and ill/kin. However, PA does not benefit from external buffing so the only way to improve them is via enemy debuffing. Controllers with res debuffing make PA very impressive because of the heal back mechanic of their attacks. Basically once you fully damage slot PA it has a 35% heal back ratio that you can only improve through resistance debuffing. Something like an ill/cold can make the heal back as small as 17% of the damage they put out. Amazing stuff really.

Dominators: won't have many powers that are boosted by the +mag+duration of domination. In fact they'll have 1 less than sets like earth and fire. This could be seen as a setback, but we know Castle reworked doms specifically to rely less on domination than before. I'm of the mind set that illusion is not a weak control set, but rather a weak "lock down" set. Complete lockdown is irrelevant to doms.

Regarding PA and dominators: it is of little doubt that it would be a very strong combo. While active it would allow a dominator to focus almost entirely on damage output. Pretty big advantage. That said, it is significantly more difficult for a dom to reach perma PA than it is for a troller. Not impossible, but much more difficult. Additionally doms have no way of making PA more effective while they are out like trollers do, with the exception of a single target debuff in one patron choice.

I think it goes without saying that anyone who truly believes illusion would be overpowered on a dominator is by default saying it is even moreso on a controller as they can leverage the strengths of the set better than doms.

Conversely, people with concerns that it would be too weak due to little benefit gained through domination need to look up the status on spec terror.
Wow...duuuudeee get out of my head! I agree 1000% percent
  24. Warshades remind me of my Brutes...once I get Fury going I can't stop...the same goes with a WS...except replace Fury with Bodies :3.
