    X/Ice armor

I think they should replace GIS with Ice Sword Circle from Icy Assault. *sigh* Why do I have to have a bone for water and wind elements? On most Anime, Games, Books they get no justice...NO JUSTICE I TELL YAH!
  3. They still have a ways to go to equal the awesomeness of their fellow Melee AT's.
  4. Ugh, Kitana on a brute! More HP! Nom, Nom! Slightly less dmg but whatevs. Also I must Make a Strong and Pretty Scrapper! It would be my first and only scrapper! lol
  5. Lyger...you can imagine how I feel as well bud...*sob* well at least it will drive me to make a second Stalker! I STILL want ICE/ICE for bwoooots!

Its debuffs, while potent, aren't good enough to protect the pets and the single healing is slow and costs 16 endurance. And the lvl 38 gas power doesn't work well on Commando since he isn't a melee-oriented pet.

From what I've read, they are going to add some "Splash" effects to both Weaken and Envenom. I think it should look like Acid Arrow. I don't know what the radius is going to be like. I am guessing 8' radius. Those that receive splash effects get "reduced" debuff values. We don't know the details yet.

Poison Trap in /Poison has 4s interrupt. Many people don't know this because quite frankly, nobody likes this power. Yes, it's very nice that they changed it Hold initially but the 4s interrupt + 5s casting time and the fact that /Poison has no stealth, may make it hard to set it off. I just don't understand why /Poison has a trap. I rather just puke a pile of !@#$ and put them to hold/sleep and whatnot.

If Venomous Gas is the same version of Noxious Gas, then it's going to be very good. This power looks weak on MM, but it is actually a great resistance debuff + puking power.

    Basically from what I read:

    1. AoE effect in Weaken and Envenom
    2. Poison Trap causes Hold initially and it may have minor Toxic damage
    3. Single heal is going to be better. We don't know the details yet.

I still think the activation time on Weaken is a bit long but we'll see.
The splash effect would be a Godsend. (I've always wanted to make a snake toon) It would really add a lot to the set.

I am....embarrassed....I deleted my Merc/Poison about a year ago or a little less...when did they make /Poison Trap- hold? Guh, I wish beta auto lvl was going on I want to try it out. It might be worth taking now...wow. We all know they are going to revamp the heal they have to...it's pretty craptastic currently. I would like the hold component in Neurotoxic breath to be a little longer anywhere from 4 to 6 seconds for safety purposes. I always loved Neurotoxic Breath with pacing of turtle proc you could get recharge super low...reminded me of playing my Ice/Cold .

Could someone post the current MM values of Noxious Gas? I don't know how to look it up in mids.

Oh! I forgot to add I would love to see the Hold for Poison Trap extended to 6 seconds max and have the sleep pulse much like Static Field. Ooooooo! I'm so %$#@!?^ excited! This set as well as ice armor are sets that I will try out ASAP once they become live. I've been waiting forever for poison to be available for defenders, corruptors and even better controllers!!!!

    Poison

Illusion/Poison!!! Ugh! Yesssss! Finally something new to pair up with Illusion!
  8. Dang! I might have to make a strong and pretty now! But for what AT?! Oh maybe both! One can never have to much strongh ern pwetty-ness.

    emp useful?

Heh, Either way an Emp, Kin, Rad, sometimes Dark will still be taken before any other primary. I think /TA needs love first before emp gets any hand outs. I feel that in some way this brings Cold, thermal and FF closer to Emps level...all the while emp, kin still remains at the top. +Regen is a godsend to the trials.
  10. Elec, Thorn is fun . I think Electric is amazing with /Icy Assault.

    emp useful?

Empathy is not lackluster in ANYWAY. Ageless is amazing but you will not always run into someone who will try to buff everyone. Empathy is always a good compliment to any Trial, TF, SF or whatever that you want to take on. Plus, outside of kin and empathy the others sets never get any praise from players on live if you really think about it.

    Think about it really though:

Thanks man for using Darkest Night buddy! Good job dude on using Benumb on the AV, Cold defender guy! Nope. I think Emp and Kin will always get the most popular broadcast love of all the defender sets.
  12. /TA only has two attacks that keep you safe...and both are on long timers and they show up late in the game. Don't get me wrong with a high recharge build plus Alpha and Destiny you can have them up every mob but honestly how many people do you know they can wait till "lvl 52" for a set to truly bloom?

Three of them said in team chat some variant of they would eventually but right now please don't speedboost them. The fourth sent me a tell explaining that the onus was still on me to accommodate his needs, because he shouldn't have to change a setting in the game to avoid powers from other people.

Being as it's AoE now, I cheerfully targeted only the three that wanted SB and let the splash buffs land where they may. Now that there is a means to deal with the "problem" of speedboost, I am quite content in referring to these people as the whining **** that they are. I had a suspicion that the ability to negate the supposed downside of SB wouldn't eliminate the crybabies, and lo! I was right.

My Cold fender is rejoicing in ways illegal. On the MM end of things, my thermal MMs have become a joy to play where once they were tedium made flesh. Truly one of the greatest QoL improvements to the game since launch.
They are lazy and I would SB them anyway unless it's the leader. SERIOUSLY walk your lazy but over to the truck in Pocket D and change the settings. It's not like you're waiting for 20 minutes + anyway screaming lvl 53 Fire/Storm controller LF Trial! every 7 minutes...oh wait you are! lol
  15. TA does need a buff. Trying to solo with TA is sheer madness.
  16. Right on. I for one would LOVE to see a change. I doubt many would complain about re-doing the entire set. It's not like you can really Proc it out anyway. Gravity would be my favorite control set if it wasn't for it's many issues.
  17. /TA isn't bad on a controller...but on any other AT you faceplant more than a Fire/Fire Blaster with Provoke!
  18. I'm still all for lag abilities lol.

It has a full 3 sec animation vs. 2.3 and 2.1 secs in Stalagmites and Flashfire. It also has a significantly smaller radius, 15 feet vs 25 feet. There's also a very brief, .75 sec, intangible after the teleport, which usually goes unnoticed. Frankly, I think it needs its activation shortened, its radius increased, and the intangible moved to the beginning of the power rather than after the teleport in order to prevent enemies from firing back. Oh, and it would be nice to get the power at level 12 when other control sets are getting reliable AoE.

I will admit Singularity is a very nice pet, but the rest of the set needs touching up. Until it gets some attention, I won't be rolling another.
Right on the head. I love Gravity with all my heart but until they make changes I'm not going to play one ever again...even though Grav/Earth sounds oh so tempting. Also unlike most control sets Gravity doesn't accept that many procs.
  20. I admit that this is exciting. My Gravity/Kin can finally be what I always wanted him to be.

    Traps

/Traps for Controllers...just seems wrong...it's like playing a Thug/Demon Mastermind. Not only could a /Traps controller hold everything FOREVER they could easily wipe out spawns...*shudder*.
