  1. It's easy to adjust trip mine if you want it to be like a typical PBAOE. The devs would just make the proper adjustments.

    Maybe make it like Earthquake or Static Field.

    Time Bomb should indeed be a Toggle Power like Telekinesis or Dimension Shift.

    If you cast it inside of DS it does move a majority of the mob to one point but sometimes 2-4 of them fly out of there due to the KB being sooo strong.

    Oh I know that the two powers aren't exactly the same BUT procs work quite well in Shadow Field. The Lockdown Proc was firing quite a bit when I tested it out on BETA.

    EDIT: I would say 1/3 of the mob had the Tesla animation on them when I used the power. It was a solid 1/3 of the mob every time that it was used.

    Oh I plan to! I think of Shadow Field like Volcanic Gas...yeah you kind of waste procs in the power but once you get the power perma or close to it...it's amazing. It polishes off the baddies while you're busy with the boss.

    If that's what Arbiter Hawk came up with I have to officially doff my hat to him. It might even be TOO effective, but it's dang sure out of the box thinking that turns a much reviled power into what's effectively a whole new power fraught with possibilities!

  15. I see anything Reppu says as a viewpoint from the PVP community so I guess that The Power is horrible in PVP but in PVE it's very nice. Not only does it debuff mobs to the floor but it opens up so many possibilities when it comes to Hold and Damage Procs...Which reminds me I need to make a Dark/Time.
  16. I agree it was my favorite control set before the Pet AI change when Fire was still considered king. I'm a bit Bias though I try to get my paws on ANY comic book character with the power of plant.

    I was thinking the same thing...actually not knowing his build makes me want to claw my face lol. I want to help out...the build sounds...like it needs a few hits of Aid Other...or maybe Absorb Pain lol.

  20. Plant/Fire is my Farming toon CriticalCharge. He is by far my strongest fastest Dom that I have in my arsenal. Fire/Earth looks good on paper...especially if you lvl'd him to 53...but by god would it be painful...

    I strongly disagree. I view it as a 2 part power, one of which gets neutered by a set power I intend to spam heavily.     As far as I am concerned, the #1 reason I would take ice would be for the mitigation from the _knockdown_.
    I use it for -Res...You just can't beat -Res even with a stick. The KD is just gravy. -50% Resistance rapes faces, most things would be lucky if it was able to survive the Sleet+Ice Storm combo.
  22. I want to try a Dark/Kin but I want to test it out in BETA and not just level it to 50 to be disappointed. I wish the devs were still doing level bumps.
  23. I love Dark Control's AOE Hold but some don't...and that's ok. It's not only amazing by itself but it is down right awesome with procs...much like Volcanic Gas.
