I agree Arbiter Fab, for me it was Nerva Archipelago. The sky in Nerva always seemed a bit off to me...It seems like the place that would have Varying skies like in ouroboros...Mostly Sunny and bright but on the rare occasion dark and cloudy or the Opposite of of Neutropolis...Dark and smoky near the Ferry but Clean, Sunny and Prisitne near the Northern Islands where the COT are located.

St. Martial as well seems like a place that would have verifying skies...I get a more Vegas Feel from St.Martial more than a L.A. Feel and even then it's possible for L.A. to have clear skies.

I always laughed at that one lol. Maybe if you stick with Bots or Thugs back then.

Yeah, Elec/Fire is AOE sexyness right up there with Rad/Fire.

I think you should chose anything /Ice...it is the worst set in the game Imho.
  6. You guys are making my head hurt. This reminds me of all the angry threads that popped up when Doms got a buff...Oyyyyy.
  7. Oh and I forgot to add...Super Strength GUH! Bores me to tears.

I think tanker damage caps can be raised, but their default damage should not - not their base mods anyway. I could see buffing individual powers, such as ice melee.

Scrappers are fine, really, that 5% is going to do very little.
Right on Jay...I can tell when a player is virgin to redside when they complain about a Brute's performance...back in the day on Redside that's all we had! God knows Stalkers would die if you even looked at them the wrong way at the time hehe.

Ahh, I can see that. I will level a /Rad one day...it just bores me to tears for some reason.

Always good to get feedback from those of you who theorycraft well.
Yeah they don't stack but with a set like Energy Blast or Earthy Assault the chance of it procing is ridiculously high.
  11. I thought that they were more Demons than magical (wailers) but lord...I better not stir that pot.

So basically you can only really leverage this every 5 seconds which is about what you can get most aoe KD powers to recharge in with decent bonuses.

So let's theorize that you put this in both tremor and fissure, you activate fissure first and it procs, then follow up with tremor, even if it did proc you'd see no benefit AFAIK. Even so like I said above, if you've built a decent amount of recharge, the bonus granted from the first proc should allow you to have fissure up again fairly close to when the proc duration ends.
I already knew that it doesn't Stack that it last for only 5 seconds it still helps a lot with my recharge surprisingly enough.

For for example I'd probably move the Forced Feedbacks out of the single target melee attacks and Jolting Chain (it counts as single target with regards to this or any other buffing or End Mod proc due to how it works) and instead focus on sticking Damage procs into Cages and Jolting instead (as well as into your APP AOE if you have one)

Just one of these diminishing returns things, with the FF slotted into Tremor and Fissure sticking it into single target attacks isn't returning enough for me compared to refactoring in Moar Damage somewhere else in the build via procs in AOEs.

For an Elec/Psi if you are taking the Psi APP then Psi Tornado is an excellent place for a Forced Feedback
Yeah the only proc that really shines in Jolting chain is the Devastation Proc.

Hrmm thanks for the info I will look into this but I like to even proc out my ST attacks. Hrmm.

Sorry for the hijack elec/psi fans lol.

Have considered some other uses for this, dropping it on people caught in oblit beam during Keyes, dropping it to set up a safe zone for MoM purple patches or Penny Yin psi dot room, safe zone for Tyrants massive lightning attack during Magisterium trial, other things I can't think of at 330 in the morning.
Well...you do somewhat. They will run towards you if you retreat in DS but if you run out they will end up stuck there unless you are fighting someone who can shrug off a Mag 4 Immob.

Once the tank enters DS he is Phased and taunt will miss if you try to use it on Recluse. Even if you pop out you have to wait a few seconds before the phase wears off. So just Taunt, retreat in DS and then...Oh wait I haven't slept yet so I'm a bit off to say the least...

If you drop it on recluse, run in and taunt and then run out it will work and he will attempt to attack you while Phased but...but I'm not that knowledgeable about Phasing and how it affects AV's...I want to say that it can't be resisted but I'm not sure. I do know that it would immob him.
  14. Gravity still needs more but I actually took this power. I only use it to save my own @$$. For example...there's a team wipe and I see the mob turn the corner and then run in my direction I lay down DS and run like the wind.

Another example is if we are all being ported by a toon who's rezzing us after a wipe I will throw down DS in front of us just in case a boss follows us back.

    It's still situational though.
  15. How can Rad/Fire get boring?! You're lucky if you don't eat pavement every mob if you don't build it right. Sexy combo but my Rad/Fire can out tank almost anything lol.

Masterminds (even though I like Mercs and Demons...one day fellas...one day)
Empathy bores me...I was actually looking forward to team wipes just so I could stay awake...I would even sometimes over aggro by "accident" it was bad lol. This was before Pain Dom btw.
    Psychic Blast-It feels so slow
    Tankers- I'm a mage/stealthy kinda guy.
Radiation Emission-ugh i know it's amazing but ugh lol.

Mostly True but I don't like to take chances...but if you want to save money or slots you probably should replace it with a better proc like Mako's Bite or something. To each their own.

So what, the proc checks for each mob member in powers like Thunderstrike and Tremor correct? Why should one not slot if for ST attacks? I'm assuming it's the balance between the proc and it's low performance compared to other ST melee procs?

Testing it out on a Stalker would require getting another toon level bumped, and they're not doing 1-50 bumps anymore.
I know...and i refuse to level another toon to 50 on beta.
  18. I had hope for SF...it seems strong in the early levels...oh well. I'll just focus on using it for my Staff/Dark brute.
  19. >_> you guys should try it out with a stalker...what? <_<
  20. Still it doesn't equal to 1/4 of the normal groups in this game that aren't magic.

Thanks Reppu. To bad Mids is still borked with StJ. I have a feeling though due to Crushing Uppercut and a few other powers StJ still pulls ahead. I just want to make sure because I'm not made out of (Money)Points.

That said, I know there are plenty of people who don't feel that way, and for them increased damage would be a godsend.
I agree...I only have two Defenders lol. I normally play Corrs or Controllers when to comes to me dabbling with support. I like the extra dmg during Team play.

Really now! I guess the biggest issue is how can the Tanker get there? So Brutes still manage to pull ahead due to Fury?
  24. Bah! I'm trying to decide should I buy StJ or Staff for a stalker...but I think StJ still comes out on top for stalkers no?
