..im halfway through my new "Hi-Fi color for comics" book I just got ...

*grabs paint tubs and starts eating them*.. munch munch.. im gonna get my moneys worth out of dese no matter what..

by "immortalized" I mean.. "drawn art" ..after all, someday Cox might be over, but you will still have the art work to show future generations.. err.. assuming you want your grand-kids to know that there grandparents where computer mmorpg geeks

..hmm..anyway.. ive got a villian thats about to break 50 ( gogo MM/dark power!) ..but ive got NO heros close to lvl 50.. so what I wonder.. dose everyone else have for lvl 50s heros, or at least what type or class..

if your into art or do art, then I wanna know (maybe great minds think alike and I can try that build everyone else has )... sides.. im kinna jealous ANYONE has got a lvl 50 let alone more then one...

.."stitching" means that the work is drawn on 11x17 paper and then scanned onto a 8x11 flatbed to get it into the computer then THEN it has to be "stitched" together into one piece again..

I have a AAS in graphic arts and design and a certificate in 3d art and animation.. but theres a big diffence bettween what I was teached ta do and what gets done ( sides when I was in collage we had ta use "font books" and trace the letters with tracing paper and pencil.. and we had typing class with old typewritters and color separations with that red rubber sheet garbage thats to expensive and worthless for anything to begin with.. ..and we had another class called "3D design".. only it was using arc-welders with metal-sheets *sob* ... THEN after I failed that class, I found a class that acutally teached COMPUTER 3d design... and finally.. and lastly.. I had a photography class where you had to develop your own photos in a dark room ( ever get a plastic cut from trying to open a film roll.. in the dark.. with your hands full of chemicals? ) everyone HUG your computers and realize just what a crappy world it was before they came along ) ... .. .. I think I over used the "( )" or didnt frame it right.. err.. ahh well

..so im working on coloring my drawings and I end up taking forever on one small area till it looks EXACTLY like how it would look if I ..err.. painted it by hand (brush stroke filters ) ... only..umm.. it took twice as long..

so dose anyone use filters when coloring with photoshop?.. how do you just paint it the RIGHT way and not junk it up?.. or can you even junk up a computer coloring?..

at what point do you have to say... "thats good enough" and move on to a different area??

..ok.. but how do you get the paint off the board when your finished? ...

its NOT colored and you can see where I had to STITCH it together so it would fit in the scanner.. but over all I think its ok..

..there another issue though... would a penciled inked and colored work of art be worth more if it was done by hand reather then on a computer?.. even if the one done by hand wasnt that good?..

..ahh inking... *sob*.. im left handed ..either all ink nubs are made for right-handers or im SUCKY at it ...

..err.. can you take a picture of artwork with a camera instead of scanning it into the computer?.. I mean.. instead of scanning two half of a 11 x 17 in a 8 1/2 x 11 scanner and then stiching them together?...

..im getting picky now.... but whats the common pencil lead size?... im using 0.5 lead retractin pencil ... (*maybe the pros use a thinner lead*) ....

..btw.. thanks for info.. I got a good 11 x 17 pad of paper.. err.. then you gotta cut off space for bleed and trim and stuff to lower it down to 10x 16 or so.. I think... argh... I wish they just had ONE webpage with the stuff on it
