he used a real-life baby pic of himself and sis for reference, AND colored it with real life "kiddie" crayola markers ( limited color ones at that ) .. it just seemed ta have captured the underlining theme IMHO..

everythings on hold while im learning zbrush and any other type of texture painting program.. HOWEVER. im having a problem with zbrush not making a texture I can use for editing in photoshop..

any zbrush gurus have any simple tips on this?..

btw.. ive also tryed bodypaint and 3d coat software and found them to be worthless and not very user friendly... the only programs ive found that are good for 3d texturing are.. zbrush, deep paint 3d and tatoo... so far zbrush is the best.. if not the most user unfriendly..

the main goal is to put TAs face on more paper then Abraham Lincoln.. that way in a million years they will dig up uber amounts of TA pics in fossil form and think " wow.. this musta been there ruler at the time... err... or favorte pop star singer..

anyway.. I made a simple blue ball in 3dmax and put hair on it

it renders it out at an ok speed so long as you dont go over board with it..

cool.. I just got the free version of daz studio... AND the newest FREE models for victoria, micheal and aiko (3d bridge starter pack ).. so im a happy camper

..im gonna take the models and import them into 3dmax for working with sense I cant use Daz very well and the only version of poser I have is version 4pro ( and I dont think that will work with there new models ) ...

I'll post my WIP here when I get the bugs worked out.. maybe I can get the 3d hair issue licked ,.... otherwise .. I just found out that Alien skin software has plugins for photoshop that also do hair in 2d filters ...

darkjedis work inspired me to work on my lovable 3dsmax software some.. but I have a problem... NO HAIR!! ... anyone have any tips for making hair?.. either 3d or 2dish? ..I dont trust anything that makes hair at render time.. I wanna see the stuff before hand..

..so im swimming through my tutorials on inking and illustrator and coloring and photoshop and looking at the other artists on dev that do commisisons.. annnddd... some do 3d stuff...

.. im no poser3d-wonder .. but my 3dstudiomax-stud skills should count for something... dose anyone have any ideas about how to search for 3d comic stuff? ... (*yes, I will look in yahoo and google when I wake up after work *)....

seems ta me a lot of coloring was done with image comics using 3d shading also...
