well this IS an art forum.. we should help others to explain about Liefeld before he
publishes " how to draw the liefeld way " books, and makes a mass out break of imitators

sadly, I will admit that some of his art work I do like (namely anyone where theres a female character like Domino what has no irises.. at least I THINK she has no irises ).. while most of it I totally hate..

While I know most people here love Rob.. I thought I would let his haters allow themselfs a post to help them express there feelings properly...

in the issue of fairness.. anyone that wishes ta make a " we luv liefeld" post.. should feel free too...

this post is only for peoples "IMHO" posts that might want to share with others there views on the topic..

im throwing in Rumiko Takahashi and Kosuke Fujishima, cuz japan artists know the power as well..


Rumiko Takahashi, is one female artist that knows her stuff

and Kosuke Fujishima's females dont need large assests to be awsome.. but they realllly help a lot !!! ((I also heard he draws with only an ink pen ))

if we post something on deviant art.. and we make THAT image adult.. THEN that means that the person has ta click on the link AND the deviant art adult warning thingy (*unless they took it off in there preferences *)...

when im talking about guidelines, im refering to the underdrawing of a drawing..

kinna like drawing an oval for the face and a horisontal line across for eye-level.. ect..

...so I see a LOT of artists using guidelines.. however I also see some ruff drawings from artists that dont show any at all..

..could guidelines be considered using a crouch while drawing.. maybe we should all go chris leighfield ( I dunno how to spell the guys name..and I dont care ) and wingit ...

..most importantly.. is there a time when you've done so many.. that you don't need ta do any anymore??

ick.. the title " man-meat and beef cake bods " woulda worked out better.. your kinna getting into the "girls who like boys who like boys".. type of catagory..

anyway...

ANY artist that has done ANY art related too Conan..

..ok.. between the fact im posting it.. and that the title says "boobies" ... I think that ALONE makes at least 1 1/2 clicks right there..

..nothing wrong with the male form.. However..nude females are somewhat harder ta draw due to the curvy lines ..where as males can be done all angular..

im voting for foo.. but only after I lighted the pic up some so I could see all the details in it

so long as not one takes offense at me not doing theirs right away..

im gonna skip around some and see who the muses of inspiration and naughtiness, decide for me ta do

..theres also an artist that drew for Heavy Metal or some adult mag.. whos art style was somewhat squarish and slightly cartoonish.. yet managed ta make some awsome women..
one of his storys was about a women and a magic mirror in the dessert.. and a whole lot of men where carrying the mirror for her.. and then a sandstorm comes in and the cursed mirror dose funky stuff.. like magical spanish flyish stuff.. and in the morning all thats left is the mirror laying in the sand.. but you KNEW everyone involved had a good time at least..

bah.. Ive searched for hours and I cant find a name or image ta show..

but BELIEVE ME .. hes a totaly aswome artist *nods knowingly*

*sigh* well im trying NOT to be too MMOartish ..but I will agree that my valentines day pinups I did a while back, didnt measure up to how I wanted them too .. and my summer swimsuit pics never made it off the drawing board..

so as I run all my past stuff through Illustrator (*auto-ink, auto-color = whoohoo*) ..I would like ta know if anyone has a female character they would like drawin in scantly clad turkey and/or xmas decorations..


sadly..ive played the new game content ( custom colors+ ninja booster pack ) into the ground and my pokemon game is coming to an end.. err.. and the lung infection is now totally gone ..heehee.. I can run and not sound like a steam engine..

..err.. oh.. and ive also desided on a final look for IB.. so im planing on drawing/buying more pics of character then TA has of his..

one of the things I was most impressed with, during the time when we got issues of the city of heros comics mailed to us.. is the great amount of perfect err... female assets drawn within... (( thank you wilson tortosa ))


SOOO... what is your favorate city of heros comic what features such great assets .. and how dose it compare to another artist work that also is known for great portrayals of the same subject matter?..


personally, im thinking of eric larson... *sigh* sadly though.. im not finding any images from eric larson ta show ...I think my search ability is gone... or yahoo, and google just arnt as helpful as they used ta be :*(


..and the coh comic books take FOREVER ta load..
