I'm female and I use the w/skin option occasionally, but I grew up with the Batman model of hero as my favorite. That means that I usually think of how the toon is "armored" and what areas of the body would be affected in a fight. An unprotected belly, throat, ankle is a liability in a real fight, so I incorporate that into my costumes. Hmm, and yet I'm not a role-player.

I might be a couple minutes late tonight due to a quick scheduled trip into town for fruit (super produce sale starts tonight and I love me some fresh fruit and veggies.)

Next week (8th) I'm going to be gone- it's my mother's birthday and I'm a good daughter so I have something planned for her.

If it doesn't conflict with my current Wednesday night static team, I'd love to join.

*looks like ten people are interested so far.

Sorry I didn't make it tonight- I dyed my hair, was told I looked like a biker chick and got an invitation to go to a movie because of it.

Weird night- then I start playing and accidentally deleted my tab with my global channels so lost all of my memberships. UC saved the day with a reinvite to one of the private channels at least- all others still missing. No tfs for me for a while I guess since I won't see them forming.

Champion might be a west coast server, but most events are still held on an east coast time frame.

They probably overestimated the typical player's familiarity with Wagner's opera The Valkyrie, as Nothung is the name of the magical sword.

I thought that I would have gotten higher on avoidant, but the way they worded things weren't really correct for me. (not the right reason for doing things.)

I'd hope that was low- Antisocial personality disorder is what most sociopaths are diagnosed with; it doesn't have to do with being social or not. We wouldn't want to think that you are a serial killer or anything.

I told my mother that same thing, but added that while he wasn't really a celebrity we saw commercials with him shouting about a product a dozen times a day (or so it seems) and he is practically a household name because of that.

I feel sorry for his family, but is it wrong to hope those commercials are pulled? So annoying to be yelled at while trying to watch tv.

I don't play her very often, but my baby brute on Champion is named Punctuation; she'll punctuate yer face with her war mace.

And to think, I almost got rid of my Canadian Flag costume the other day. Good thing I came to my senses in time.

Didn't we just go through the teaching thing like a week or two ago? And wasn't the consensus that it was all well and good to help new players learn the game, but there are a few problems- like finding them, finding the ones with an actual interest in learning from a mentor, and whether or not it is bad to recruit for your sg based on mentoring?

Meh; I live to solo when I play, but am always willing to help when someone asks a question in my coalition. I try not to answer questions in other places anymore because when I try to answer a question that I've asked and relay the answer I was given, I'm often told by the same people who gave me the answer that it is wrong. I'm still trying to figure out why they lied to me when I asked my question.

Mine is 'Silje the Mad Curler' over on Pinnacle. Part of the reason I love that toon is the name matches her back-story so well. (Ice/Ice blaster; formerly a member of the Swedish Olympic Curling team.)

Most of Posi TFs I ran were on 8 man teams. All were done under 2 hours. As soon as you dealt with 2nd mission, everything else is much easier.

Same here. The last few times I've done Posi with a full team it's been two hours or less. Last night I joined a four person team and it took us 1:59. I don't see why people insist on tiny teams for "speed" runs when it takes just as long as the full team action.

I should also say that while the full teams are usually made up from my sg, the toons we bring are random and we don't require any specific AT or powersets to join. Anyone who wants (any level 10+) can join, on any toon they want to bring.
