Since having seen Faultline the Granite troller tanking HroDotz while on my blaster i have always wanted a sturdy troller but couldnt figure out how to do it. Then the i13 set changes to defence bonuses came live and since i have been softcapping various trollers and defenders to ranged in mids and having laugh while doing so.
Then i thought if there was a combination that could achieve softcap to all postions while having good mitigation in its primary/secondary.
Primary Earth control:
Awesome soft and Hard control didnt have tot hink hard before choosing it.
Secondary Force Field:
Was dabbling with storm with some clever slotting made ranged easy, managed to get 15% to melee and aoe too but i wanted more, then i thought dispersion bubble!.
Heres the build, theres still room for improvement but its to give you and rough idea how i achieved softcap.

I got it in pa on my troller i think. If it would work the same in phantasm as in henchmen i could respec on test to check.

Only reason i would be picking up flash would be as set mule for 4 basilisks gaze.
Its [censored]. Cant use it as a panic button either since it takes an half hour to animate. -
Dunno depends on team, done synapse(ws, grav/kin, fire/sr, bs/shield, dm/shield and 2 blasters i think forgot sets) 1:57 and posi(fire/rad, ice/rad, will/energy, ar/nrg, kat/will, bs/shield and 1 more i think) in 2:37 both were loosely organised in sals(no at's preferred) basically pugs.
Then again i've been on 4h runs of both.
Having a couple of players exemplared helps. -
While we are on the subject my union list is getting full so i was wondering if there are any good laid back redside vg's on defiant that has access to porters and stuff?

Skip elude and softcap positional defence instead.
Edit: aaah nightwidow a bit slow today, skip elude and worry about mindlink instead. -
Ah i got the definition wrong then. Still think it's weird memory used increases 100% and in most cases forces a disconnect.

I monitored once clicking a ww employee and i got a massive memory spike, went from 352 meg to 700. Same problem with firefox before they fixed the memory leak.

I forgot to thank devs for 10 feet 1k crits. It's awesome, now they just need to alter attack vitals and i will dance like a merry little leprechaun and sing tales about the green isle.

I have this cool nin/will build with high 30's to f/c/e/n and 15 second downtime on shadow meld(thank you devs!) that i'm itching to try. Only secondaries that underperform imo is elec(only resists) and regen(low hp cap).

So how would it work with bots or mercs that prefer ranged? Would be really nice since mm's get immobs in their patrons.

Both Shield and SR is nice defence sets at softcap. SR with its higher debuff resistance and Shield with its static resists and +hp.

So its safe to assume that the other proc works the same as perfomance shifter one? If so thanks to the buyer that bought it for 20 mill when i got it as a random roll. -

The build up proc works in pa. Has worked for me and is demonstrated by tal_n here
Also Ill/Storm is one of the most fun toons i have played. Only comes out when monsters need to be slayed and on high level tf´s now but its a blast.
