Personally i would drop acro+vengeance and fit in the immobs. Also would take the rez earlier, slot for damage if i know i have to pug alot.

Try to fit in siphon life. Also dark regen does need end redux. Cloak of fear with it's low accuracy is completly optional, especially pre sets.

Perma somewhere along 177-179 with cast time included. With 175 it has a 0.3 downtime cast time not included.

The little i have poked around tankers tells me that dark(fully saturated soul drain) and ss (double stacking rage) have high dps on tankers. Mace and stone are also good.
Start off by doing common io's and so's.

i have currently have 58,75% global on my troller(ill/storm discontinued until they fix pet setds). Between that, hasten and geas i´m fine. Perma hasten while nice is absolutely not necessary.

erm with 3 50 rechrage io in hasten you need about 105% global recharge on top of that iirc.

Can we just drop the EB as its irrelevant to this. I think how you wrote the post was dumb. I never said you were dumb as that would be an personal attack, kind of what you did.

I enjoy mine but i feel like i´m underperforming after going through the numbers. So i feel like i´m just a filler that takes forever to kill a hard target due to low dps.

For being a single target set with -res secondary effect the dps is [censored].


Another suggestion would be removing the damage portion of the sleep so you can stack it.

I´m not really saying its a craptacular set. I just feel it underperforms on its own.

It lacks in all departments.
Fire,Ice,Ar,Arch are way ahead of sonic in ST and AoE

I would like a small buff in the single target blasts to bring it in line with the others and give it a purpose other than underperforming to give the team an itsy bit of extra dps.

My suggestion, lower the activation times for sonic blasters.

Cant really compare a mob with a player. I dont hit 700 with spin like bobcat does at 45

Not by much. The low numbers for blasters are [censored]. /Sonic defenders outblast Sonic/ blasters. I was also talking about PvE.


Only saving grace is Scream which have the -res on the first hit making its dpa higher than shout.

In my opinion they made it too weak and the -res doesnt help when its outperformed by most of the other primaries.

Inspired byt the us troller forum where a series "does * suck" has spawned some great discussions.

-Even with the -res it has low single target dps. It lacks burst as well
-Lack of Aoe
-Some situational control

However, if you want a real challenge... try to defeat Nosferatu. He is a nasty EB/AV for a solo melee toon, never managed to defeat him on heroic without temp pets/powers, on either a tank/scrapper. Mind you haven't tried to defeat him since the new IO sets were introduced.

All eb´s heroside are easy. Theres a big difference between a lvl 50+ eb and a lvl50+ av.

Elec, take the immob and slot it for damage.

It became single target.

post nerf to most of the av´s and at least scrapyarder.

He has soloed recluse post nerf with a fire/traps as well.

Ice and Fire stalkers plox

I actually have started enjoy soloing on villains. Loads of great arcs i would have missed in the paperspam mentality of pugs.
