thats awesome for a first time! theres only one little thing but it isnt really noticable. there should be a little more room between the eyebrows and the hairline on the male character. other than that its great. i look forward to seeing more!

very nice. especially nice job on captruring a relaxed pose. everything i do ends up feeling a little stiff hehe

considering you could ask for art in several different threads and get great results for free i think 10 is fine. most people enjoy drawing so even if they didnt get a prize it is often still fun and rewarding. either way ill probably take a crack at drawing your character now that i have some time (end of the school year :P).

i would try my best to enter. i like it when people hold these contests wether i win/get a prize or not. its fun seeing how so many people view and interpret one persons character. good luck with this contest if you decide to hold it!

wow always improving. i would like one but i have no way of getting to a comp with coh/coh screenshots of my char for quite a while hehe. either way their all very nice. i especially like the one of bloode wolffe and the one with the snowman haha! keep it up!

i dont intend to be rude or anything but if you need wings to make a costume work id suggest using one of the other 4 and possibly 5 costume slots until you can get them. Stop playing because your costume doesnt work? of course not. but itd probably be a good idea to use the things they have given you until then.

Actually, the people that care about how the character appearance matches the character design will simply not play (or likely even begin) that character. They can play other characters, of course, but doing so simply constitutes waiting.

The question to EvilGeko still remains: how long is an appropriate period to have to wait to be able to use the new costume pieces?

i for one care very much about how my characters costume looks. ive played every AT both hero and villainside over the course of a few years and ive never seen a powerset/build/character design/etc that revolves around a single costume peice. think of what would happen if you had all the costume peices the day i9 was released or even a week after. inventions which makes for probably 90% of i9s content would be ignored by those who dont see the value/dont want to bother/cant afford inventions other than costumes. they may still ignore it this way but theyll at least get a better idea of how everyting works instead of avoiding it from the start

the costume should be built around the character. not the character built around a costume peice.

hmmm alot of cool villains out there....i like mountain troll for sure and i cant think of too many names atm so i vote for him as one of them.

(he is a villain right? thought i saw a screenie of him in GV)

that really does stink. stealing is low. stealing artwork, which may involve skills that have taken all the artists life to acheive, is lower. they banned you for insults. he insulted just as much if not more and to more people. on a site made for people to submit their own art he copied someone, claimed the credit for the work, and received no noticable punishment from the site. funny how a few words on a website are worse than going against the way the site was meant to work.

I may not have. the problem is the computer that i used to use had all the previous artwork i did. I recently got a new computer so before i had a chance to copy them to this computer they had been deleted. i guess next time ill take everything off my computer before i hand it down

Title says it all. Heres basically the quality they will come in Light Slinger. I have finally found myself at a spot where im happy with my work. Good news-I will finally spend more than a few hours on each picture, theyll be much better quality, and ill finally finish them , Bad news- I wont be able to do free stuff anymore . (they werent that good anyway )

heres the details . If anyone has any questions just let me know and ill do what i can.

well i cant get on CoH for a while so i decided to draw. heres the pic not done but as always i dont know if i ever will be ...still doing random picks btw

small update

to finish it i would add more lighting, his 2 arms, and somethingmore to the background to where it doesnt look pitch black outside. oh its supposed to be a burning building not a volcanoe hehe

well 1st time ive drawn anything in months. i know i let alot of people down in my other threads so if i ever get back into art ill do everything randomly. TA . hope you like it. (not sure if ill finish it)

in the 2nd screenshot at the bottom it looks like spines will have new animations. is this true or am i missing something....if they are new yay!! finally....


oh yeah the TF looks cool too
